Chapter 1:

Flight to Japan

Hold my Hand in The Dark Side

“Ime, Carb, what a mess going around?” The dark voice came from behind the locked door.

Carbohydrate froze, his nerves started shaking, “W-Who are you?”

The master didn't answer with words. The door shattered into pieces. Taking slow, rhythmic steps, a monster with crimson-red eyes approached. He grabbed Carbohydrate’s neck and lifted him off the floor.

“Did you complete your task?”

Carbohydrate, “No master.” Ime tried to stop him from speaking up but he resisted.

“So why do I need you?” He tightened his grip on Carbohydrate’s neck “Nothing but a worthless pawn. It has been 8 full years! You even know the power of that kid! Try to beat him up! I have done nothing but wasted my powers on you!”

Ime bowed down to the master, “Master. I have my investigation ready.”

The master’s grip didn’t loosen by even a bit but his head tilted “Start.”

Ime, “That child, Chuntee, is nowhere to be found in India. His parents say he went missing in the night with a note on his desk saying ‘I will fight for justice.’ And his friends are also sad due to him disappearing suddenly.”

“Call the Detective.”

Ime, “Yui,” she whispered in the shadows “master’s order.”

“Master! Please let me-” carbohydrate fainted. Master dropped him like a piece of trash.

“Yui. Tell me the analysis.”

Ýui, his eyes glowed blue, filled with data, “As your order, master. Chuntee, who claims himself to be Avinya, has completely vanished his trail. But according to the Kolkata Airport’s record, someone named ‘Amefuri’ had booked a flight to Tokyo airport, Japan. His physical specifications were exactly same as Chuntee and as confirmed by Carbohydrate’s sightings, his hair was slowly growing through the time and had grown up to his knee when he booked the ticket.”

“What about the flight?”

Yui, “The flight, MM-5914 is currently cruising above Myanmar at 34,021 feet.”

“Ime.”

Ime, “Yes, Master.”

“Go to the location along with carbohydrate. You know what to do next.”

Ime, “As your order.”

“Wake up!”

He turned back to the fainted Carbohydrate and slammed three jagged, red spikes into his chest. His eyes snapped open and his veins bulged as a sea of adrenaline flowed within him.

“He will never remember his childhood home again,” the Master laughed, the sound broke the window glass. “Force his memories back. Rip his brain apart with the weight of his own forgotten childhood. Let him die from the inside out!”

…

“Regrets over regrets. My friends, my parents, what do I answer them? They may be sad.” Amefuri kept mumbling.

The passengers at the back were getting really, really itched. “It’s been half an hour he’s mumbling. Is he going on a mission or is he just crazy?”

And Amefuri was getting itched by the people at his back. For his quiet reply. He poked his hand through the gap between his and the seat beside him and squirted water on the passengers.

One person stood up and aimed for Amefuri’s head when he just, teleported to the washroom. That passenger called the flight attendant who was roaming at the front side and told, “Mam! Ajaja! There is a supernatural creature sitting in front of me! AAA!”

The flight attendant tried to stop him but he continued “Mam! He just vanished somewhere!!!”

Amefuri simply, with his blazer straight, came back to his seat with his hands in the pocket of his blazer.

The flight attendant finally got a chance to speak, “Sir. You might be hallucinating; I clearly saw this kid walk to the washroom.”

‘Huh!’ Amefuri’s senses awakened. “Spacial Awareness!”

The itched passenger spoke up, again “What are you trying to do now kid? Being the protagonist of a manga?”

Amefuri yelled, “HOLD BACK!!!” all the passengers turned their head towards him. “Shock Absorption!”

BOOOOM!!!!

Amefuri saved a large punch to the plane’s ceiling. Yet it made the plane tilt at a sharp angle. “Hold tight! Swift rotation!” The plane did a safe barrel roll and returned to its normal angle. “Attendant mam! I’m heading towards the cockpit. Give a kind of distress signal if you see someone strange.” Before anyone could utter, he slammed his head against the cockpit door and broke it “It’s fine, only till my adrenaline dissolves.”

The pilot was shocked, “Are you a terrorist?”

Amefuri, “Not me, but someone is coming.”

Just as he finished, the attendant yelled, “CHEEKU!” with a very pressured tone.

Amefuri, “Pilots! Handle the plane! It’s a distress signal!” he rushed towards the cabin. “Leave her!” he yelled.

He slowly turned his head. “Oh! Long time no see! Remember me?”

Amefuri, “I remember you better than anyone else. Carbohydrate! It’s a shame to see such a great fighter attack a weakling first.”

The passengers were shaking. Half of them had grew unconscious.

Carbohydrate, “Half of the world says, Women and children are the future of our nation. So, they are all, a threat to us, monsters.” He turned back “So, even ten killed, will increase our chances of surviving. No? But I spot over twenty-five here!”

Many thought, it was over. Families hugging each other, couples kissing their young ones.

Amefuri, “I won’t let that happen!”

Carbohydrate, “Then let’s see who is faster!” He rushed towards Amefuri and smacked him on his face. “You resign?”

Amefuri, “No way! Wind expansion! Tornado speed!” his speed was unmatchable, the aimed for a direct kick on carbohydrate’s face. But, he grabbed Amefuri’s leg and smacked him on the ground before he could react. “Resign?” a sea of blood formed under him with his damaged organs. “Youngsters these days are fearful like mice. They just resign when they get involved in a battle. They just think death; death gives them everything. There is no value of you being born if you are born to die. If you like dying that much, then die as a warrior, in the battlefield! When every breath feels the last, Stand up! When your nerves stiffen, still continue fighting with a smile. You are not built to say I cannot do this, you’re built to be, AVINYA!”

Amefuri’s brain hit. His old memories revived, but then he questioned. “Why would he give me motivation? Why wouldn’t he just, end me?”

He still, focused his strength on his arms, “Expansion, Adrenaline Rush!” he got up. “Expansion, Damaged Kick!” he noticed. ‘Why are the passengers just giving brief expressions? It feels like im acting for a movie, but, isn’t Carbohydrate here? Is it even, the reality?’
