Lesson Two, Observation!

Shiro remained standing beside Zaki, while Kui was still annoyed with Zaki insulting him earlier.

“Wait, what even is Perception…?”
Shiro looked at Zaki, asking curiously.

Zaki looked back at him, dumbfounded by the question.
”DID YOU EVEN LISTEN EARLIER..?!”
He yelled.

“Uh, well… no.”
Shiro replied, slightly sweating.

Zaki looked disappointed; he rubbed his nose from the frustration.
Sighs “Perception is a technique we use to observe, sense, and absorb energy around us!”
”Then, we absorb it and make special, super-power attacks with it! Haha!”
He looked confident.

“Huh…? How do you- How do you even absorb that…?”
Shiro asked curiously.

“That’s for tomorrow’s lesson! But for today, we must increase your observation skills!”
Zaki raised a fist, sounding very confident and proud of Shiro.

“Hu- Huh..?”
Shiro was puzzled.

Zaki then faced the other three students.
”You three! Today, you will be enhancing your fighting skills, using your Contracted Vows and your strength!”
He yelled, giving instructions to them.

“Finally~ I can finally beat up Rue!”
She mischievously commented, looking at the other student.

MEET : Rue Gouda, a student of Visionary Academy. He is a part-time Beast Hunter, as he is unqualified to be a full-time one without at least 2 months of training in Visionary Academy.

“Eh? You really think you can beat me again?”
Rue replied with confidence and pride in his voice.

“Score is still 12-0!”
Reiwa gave an amusing side-eye towards Rue.

“Make that 12-1!”
Rue spoke, very confident that he would beat Reiwa this time.

Zaki rested his arm on Shiro’s shoulder and then began to guide him somewhere else.
”Come, Half-Beast Boy!”

“W-Wait, I- I’m not joining them?”
Shiro asked, looking at the other three students.

“Nuh uh! You need to increase your observation skills.”
Zaki replied, continuing to pull him.

Kui looked at Zaki from afar before yelling.
”WAIT! TEACH! I DON’T HAVE A VOW YET!”

Zaki looked behind him to look at Kui while he continued to bring Shiro with him.
”That’s not my problem!”
He waved his other arm into the air, showing he didn’t care about it.

Kui was dumbfounded, his mouth widened from how Zaki didn’t care at all.
”Wha-”

Zaki brought Shiro to a room within Visionary Academy’s campus. It looked like a used dorm, filled with posters of women in… bikinis? with magazines and manga books on the bookshelves and the desks. Shiro only wondered, ‘Whose room is this?'

“This looks like Bunnosuke’s room.”
Shiro commented after looking around the dorm.

“Incorrect! This is…”
”OBSERVATION TRAINING ROOM!”
Zaki exaggerated about the room.

“Full of models posters in… bikinis?”
Shiro walked in, looking around the room even more, inspecting some of the magazines and posters.
”This seems like a weirdo’s paradise.”
He commented.

“HEY! DO NOT INSULT MY SELF MADE OBSERVAITON ROOM!”
Zaki yelled.

Shiro opened a magazine to find more pictures of… porn actresses inside.
”How is this… gonna train my observation skills…”
He looked disgusted.

“Shush.”
”Sit down.”
Zaki gestures for Shiro to sit down on the bed in front of the TV.

Shiro puts down the magazine on the desk before taking a seat on the bedside.

Zaki then searched through the bookshelves full of magazines and manga books.
”There it is!”
He grabs a DvD from the bookshelf before placing it into the recorder that was under the TV.
”Now… I want you to observe what you’re about to watch.”
Zaki spoke before turning on the TV.

Shiro was quite calm, but also disgusted by what he’d seen in the magazines and the posters in the room, but he played along.

Zaki then switched the TV’s channel to the recorder…

To play a porno scene on TV.

“WHA-”
Shiro jumped at seeing the porno scene, as he immediately looked away from the TV and covered his eyes.
”TEACH, WHAT THE FUCK?!”

“HEY! YOU HAVE TO WATCH IT!”
Zaki protested.

All this was happening while… moans and humping can be heard from the TV.

“HOW DO YOU EXPECT ME TO TRAIN MY OBSERVATION SKILLS BY WATCHING PORN?!”
Shiro yelled. He was very disgusted and… scared to even look.

“Aha! You expect yourself to get hard, but you need to control your urges and observe the feelings and the scenery of the video to improve your observation skills!”
Zaki raised a finger with literal confidence. He seems very enthusiastic about making his students watch pornography to improve their observation skills.

“HUH!? N-NO! WILL THIS EVEN WORK?!”
Shiro yelled, still having his eyes covered to avoid the TV.

“Give it a try, Half-Beast Boy!”
Zaki forcefully removed Shiro’s hands from his eyes and gripped both of them tightly together to let him watch the TV.

Shiro pulled his head aside, closing his eyes. He refuses to watch porn to improve his observation skills.
”NO WAY I’M WATCHING THAT!”

Zaki lets go of Shiro’s hands before standing up and holding his temples.
”Hmmm… I guess this won’t work for you.”
”But it worked for my other students, though.”
”Only you refuse to watch this.”

“I’m not a weirdo like them!”
Shiro protested.

Zaki rubbed his chin, thinking of a different way to train Shiro’s observation skills.
Until he got an idea.
”Aha! I know!”
He raised a finger.

Shiro turned off the TV before looking at Zaki.

“What about you play an RPG Game? One where you need to observe the surroundings and objectives!”
Zaki proposed the idea enthusiastically.

“That- That’d work.”
Shiro replied.

Zaki didn’t hesitate. He quickly gave Shiro a controller, plugged the game’s disk into the TV, and left the room.
”Goodluck! I’ll give you 4 hours!”

“HEY- WHA?!”

Before he could even speak a word, Zaki had already left the room.

Shiro looked at the TV, seeing that the game was starting.

“4 hours…? Of playing an RPG Game? What sort of training even is this…?”
He asked himself as he began to click buttons on the controller, beginning the game.

“What kind of teacher even is he…?”
”Argh, whatever, I guess I have to deal with this for a whole month.”
