Return of Hammer Heads..

Elsewhere, a B-rank warp gate appears in the middle of Kyoto Station. Demons poured into the platforms, tearing through trains as panic spread through the rush hour.

Some guild members rushed in to fight, but they were quickly overwhelmed by the might of the demons.

“What is this thing—ahh!!”

A dark, dragon-like demon with large protruding horns stands at the center of the destruction. With a single deafening roar, it smashes half the trains aside.

Most civilians have managed to escape, in due time but a few were trapped behind collapsed debris.

“I don’t want to die here!!”

Backed into a corner.
No one to help.

The dragon demon steps closer, intending to crush them to bits.

Just then, a mysterious figure steps between the people and the demon.

“Don’t lose your cool, idiot!!”

In a flash, the dragon is struck by a powerful blow, sent flying through the station and crashing into the streets. The station is now wide open, a lone man standing there, wearing an odd blue metallic helmet on his head, and a torn black sleeveless shirt.

“W-Who are you, old man…?”

“I am…”

“I am…”

“Hammer Head, you idiot!!”

The dragon demon stood up from the fall, flying into the station again, crashing everything in its course.
Its mouth opened wide to cast iron melting flames into the bystanders and Hammer Head Ojisan.

“Please go this way, everyone!! This is the exit!”

Roshan appeared from the debris, lifting up people to safety.

‘Ahh… creepy… Why do I have to be here! Dad will beat me to pulp if I don’t… I want to go home to mama!!’

Roshan is visibly shaking, but he keeps shouting, and doing his best to hold it together.

In a blink of an eye, Hammer Head Ojisan moves again, fending off the dragon and smashing its neck in one fell swoop with his long water hammer.

“I’m moving closer to the gate!! Hey, idiot! Keep a close eye and fight the wimpy ones!!” Hammer Head Ojisan yelled out to Roshan and fell back deep into the station’s railway tracks to get closer to the location of the warp gate.

‘Eeek!! Why me??’

The dragon demon was defeated in two hits by Hammer Head Ojisan but other demons, especially the lesser ones were crawling all over the place to fight. Other mages were struggling to keep up with the demons, while a few had already fled the scene to ask for backup from the Magic Guild Association.

Roshan was the only one on the scene, who was actively trying to fend off the lesser demons, which were crawling out of the warp gate, somewhere in the deeper parts of the station which his father had gone to take care of.

It just so happens that the ruckus his father was making: the blood and guts of the demons from his hammer pummeling, had fallen over his son, Roshan, creating the impression that he had fought the demons by himself with his life on the line..

"Oh!! That guy is really cool, who is he!?"

‘Ahhhh!!! Get away from me!!’ Roshan with his struggling breath and a body covered in blood and guts, was fighting with his bare hands.

7 years ago, Roshan was a mage, but he didn't know how to properly fight with magic yet, even though he had a license. He was homeschooled all his life by his mother and he took mage training from his father, Hammer Head.

The only way that he knew how to fight was by wrestling.

More specifically, by pushing and throwing people off. It doesn’t exactly work with the demons but he still tried his best to fight while the other mages had already fled the scene.

“Go away, everyone!!”

Roshan was overwhelmed by the lesser demons which were grabbing onto his arms and legs.
His fight had gathered the whole street to watch in awe. The crowd that formed after the dragon demon's corpse crashed into the streets, where Roshan was the first to step outside and show his face.. The people that Roshan rescued by signaling the exit, who in-turn, reported about their fortune of being saved at the right time.. All of it had played its part in this lucky event where every casual on-looker had a high opinion of Roshan's power.

"That man is a real beast!! I know him personally! He used to drink 10 beers in one gulp and dive from a mountain without a harness!"

"Eh? Really?"

A few kids who were at the train station, started a competition among themselves to make the wildest praises for Roshan.

"Don't you know it?!! Look at his body!! He's drenched in demon blood!"

"That man is the savior of Japan!!"

"Ohh!! I remember him too! He has a mansion full of hot chicks! But, he doesn't care about all that! He lives to fight!"

"That man is the savior of the WORLD!!"

‘I want to go home to mama!!!’ Roshan thought to himself, but did his best to not show the emotions in his face. He slammed the lesser demons to the ground and kicked some of them off, but they still crawled back to fight him.

“U-Um.. We should help our s-savior!”

“Ohh.. You’re right!! Hang in there, buddy!!”

‘Huh?? Why are these people helping me’

The civilians had gathered around Roshan, shielding him from attacks from the lesser demons with whatever rubbish items that were lying around the scene. One carried stop sign, some carried advertisement boards. Others had a metal pipe and stones.

“You should rest, sir!” One of the kids took out his jacket and wiped the blood from Roshan’s face. “We’ll handle it!! You have done enough!!”

“You idiots!! This is dangerous!” Roshan hesitated for a moment but retaliated. “You could die any moment! Fall behind me, and let me defeat these demons!”

“B-But!!”

“There’s no but and ifs!” Roshan yelled, shoving the jacket back to the kid and pushing the civilians away from confronting the demons. “People die when they’re killed..”

Roshan gulped.

At that moment, the civilians had started to fully believe in the wild rumors that Roshan is a terrifying fighter who saved the station against thousands of demons, singlehandedly.
