Chapter 3: The Ultimate AFK Farming System

"Cen...tur...ies... old... Loli...?"

Nanako’s eyebrow twitched violently. Her cheeks puffed out until she looked like an angry blowfish, her face turning a bright shade of tomato red. Steam practically erupted from her wizard hat.

Her small hands clenched into fists inside her sleeves, trembling with pure, unadulterated rage.

This detestable disciple! How dare he use such slanderous terms to describe his beloved Master?!

You’re the Loli! Your whole family is a lineage of Lolis!

Unforgivable! Simply unforgivable!

He always looked so honest and obedient on the outside. Who knew his inner world was filled with such trashy thoughts?

And worse... he was hiding secrets. Big ones.

She ground her teeth, forcing a smile.

"Disciple." Nanako stood on her tiptoes, patting his shoulder with forced gravitas. "Since you passed the test, go back to our tower and rest. But don't leave the premises for a few days. I have to go out for a... trip."

Lynn’s eyes lit up with concern. "Master, how long will you be gone?"

"Two or three days."

Lynn’s face immediately shifted to a look of pure determination.

"Understood, Master! After this test, I’ve realized just how weak and pathetic I truly am. I’ll wait for you at home so you can teach me new spells the moment you return!"

He clasped his hands together, his expression earnest and burning with "passion."

"Please come back safely!"

Nanako felt a twinge of emotion. Maybe I judged him too harshly...

And then, the voice hit her.

[ Inner Voice ] [ BWAHAHAHA! Did this dog-loli finally get a clue?! I’ve been waiting for this moment for three years! ]

[ Inner Voice ] [ Homework on a holiday?! Is she trolling me?! Fifty thousand times? Are you trying to kill a pig? Who even assigns homework like that?! ]

[ Inner Voice ] [ This Centenarian Loli has no honor! ]

Nanako shuddered, her hand instinctively moving to cover her behind.

Meanwhile, after his internal rant, Lynn looked at her with eyes full of loyalty and resolve.

"Rest assured, Master! I will complete every task you give me! I promise!"

Nanako stared at him, dazed. "G-Good luck..."

The Investigation

A few minutes later.

Nanako, riding her broomstick through a gale, clutched her oversized hat and zoomed toward the [Grand Magic Library].

She stormed inside, her eyes scanning the shelves frantically. She was looking for specific keywords: Possession, Demons, Mind Control.

Finally, in a dusty corner of the forbidden section, she found it. The Encyclopedia of Demonic Possession & Evil Spirit Incursions.

"He must be possessed!" Nanako nodded solemnly, flipping through the pages. "If it's just an evil spirit, I can exorcise it. But if it's a Greater Demon projecting its consciousness... we're doomed."

Being able to hear his thoughts was weird, sure. But the content of those thoughts was terrifying.

Tier 2 Mage with only 1/500,000,000th of his power? Only a God could have stats like that!

She read aloud a passage from the book: "Demons and Evil Spirits are naturally repelled by Holy Aura. In an environment rich with Divine Energy, they will be forced to reveal their true forms..."

"Aha!" She slammed the book shut. "I have a plan."

The Ultimate AFK System

Meanwhile, Lynn strolled back to his quarters, hands behind his back, looking relaxed.

As the disciple of the 7th High Deacon, he technically had his own private courtyard. However, because he acted so "stupid" for three years, his frustrated Master had revoked his living privileges and forced him to move into her personal Mage Tower for "better supervision."

So, they were roommates.

Lynn did feel a tiny bit of guilt about hiding his power from his Loli Master. But he had no choice.

"If I don't camp until I hit the level cap..." Lynn rubbed his chin. "The Gods will find me. And if they find me, I’m dead meat."

Lynn wasn't from this world. He was a Transmigrator.

He remembered arriving here about 5,000 years ago—back in the "Vanilla Era" of magic, long before Winterspring even existed. Despite the primitive meta, he had risen to become one of the Seven Monarchs of the Violet Continent.

But because he was too flashy and arrogant, the Gods decided he was getting too strong. They "farmed" him like a raid boss.

If not for a Legendary Item that allowed for [Reincarnation], he would have been wiped from the database permanently.

The cost of respawning? Losing all his power and becoming a Level 1 Human again.

But Lynn wasn't worried. Not at all.

As long as he did absolutely nothing—idling, sleeping, breathing—he gained XP and stats. It was slow, but exponential. Given enough time, he would become a God just by existing.

Last time, he rushed. He played too aggressively. This time? He was going to turtle. He wouldn't leave the starter zone until he was invincible.

"Time for a nap," Lynn yawned, collapsing onto his bed. "One nap gives me more gains than these idiots get from months of training..."

Two Days Later...

The sun rose, casting a pale light over the horizon.

On the bed, Lynn was snoring peacefully. A snot bubble expanded and contracted rhythmically from his nose.

Suddenly, a pale, small hand reached out— Pop. The bubble burst.

Lynn groggily opened his eyes. Immediately, his vision was filled with a pair of ice-blue eyes staring at him from five centimeters away. The scent of sweet flowers filled his nose.

"WOAH! Master! You scared the crap out of me!"

Lynn scrambled back, wide awake. Standing by his bed was a cute Loli in blue mage robes, her twin-tails swaying as she leaned over him.

"Wakey wakey! Sun's shining on your butt!" Nanako tilted her head, smiling innocently.

"Aren't you happy to see your Master back? Get dressed. I'm taking you somewhere special today!"

Lynn let out a sigh of relief and forced a bright smile. "Yes, Master! I'm overjoyed! Where are we going? Training?"

[ Inner Voice ] [ I am not happy. I don't want to see you. I don't want to go anywhere. ]

[ Inner Voice ] [ It's barely noon. I was in the middle of a power nap. Waking someone up during the REM cycle is a war crime! ]

[ Inner Voice ] [ Dammit! This Centenarian Loli has no chill! My AFK streak is broken! ]

Nanako’s temple throbbed. A large, visible vein popped out on her forehead in the shape of a cross mark "╬".
