Chapter 39:
Bintchoo To Kukuru
Warabina continued to walk through the abyss. Makadu and Yuna followed after. “So, I’m dead? Does that mean after this we will never see each other again?” Makadu asked. “I don’t know. I’d like to think yes. I mean I like you so, of course I want to see you again.” Yuna said. “That’s good to know. I like you too.” Makadu said. “Are you two done confessing?” Warabina asked. “We aren’t.” Yuna and Makadu said in synch. “Could have fooled me.” Warabina said. Warabina stopped in front of another memory. “Another stupid dance. How many dances did the queen watch you do? Seriously, it isn't even anything different.” Warabina said, annoyed. “Sorry.” Makadu said, walking through the memory. “Keep up slowpoke.” Yuna said condescendingly. “When this is done, I will kill you both.” Warabina said. “Do it.” Yuna said. “Let’s not tempt her.” Makadu said. “Look, I am not in the right mindset. I saw someone I like dead, then I proceeded to be abducted, and tortured. Sorry if I feel like sleeping forever.” Yuna said.
Another memory came. It was one of Yuna’s. She was on her knees, holding her mothers hand. She was in her kitchen apartment. “Mom, wake up.” a young Yuna said. “You had a mother, nice.” Warabina said, walking past. Yuna looked at the memory. Makadu and Yuna watched the scene unfold. The panicked cries of young Yuna, trying to wake up her mother. “She was killed from cancer. I like to think it was quick, not making her suffer.” Yuna said. “It wasn’t.” Warabina said, as she continued to walk away. “I’m sorry. As someone who just recently lost her mother. It hurts.” Makadu said. “As someone who is still alive. It will continue to do so.” Yuna said. “Yeah.” Makadu said, grabbing Yuna’s hand and pulling her along. “Maybe we did confess.” Yuna joked. “Nah, when I confess I end up going all the way. Usually writing their names in plum blossoms, and asking them.” Makadu said. “Really?” Yuna asked. “No. There was no one interesting. At least no one I didn’t see as a brother. I’d like to imagine doing a gesture like that.” Makadu said. “I’d like to say you’ll find the one.” Yuna said. “Thanks. I wonder if I will find a good partner in the afterlife.” Makadu said.
“Stop being slow!!” Warabina yelled at them. “No!” Yuna yelled back. Warabina walked to Yuna. “Stop.” Warabina said. “Or what?” Yuna asked. Makadu noticed something and walked away. “I will kill you.” Warabina said. “Do it then.” Yuna said. “Hey, is this important?” Makadu asked, looking at a memory. It had Rokuro standing over Umitama, pressing a golden Katana to her throat. “That’s her Katana.” Makadu said. Yuna, and Warabina walked to Makadu. “A lover's quarrel is not important.” Warabina said. “They are clearly not lovers.” Yuna said. “You know nothing about love then.” Makadu said. “Don’t join forces with the Akuma.” Yuna said. “I don’t know what that is.” Makadu said. “A Yanamun.” Yuna said. “Makadu looked at Warabina, as Waribina watched the memory. She saw as Umitama cursed Rokuro. “Bingo.” Warabina said. Yuna looked away, seeing a figure standing in the abyss. He looked old, and was wearing a red and blue Ryusou.
Yuna woke up in the Spirit World, she sat up, still chained. She looked at Warabina, who threw up black Mabui. From the puke formed a body, an Akuma, it looked like Warabina, only covered in black Mabui, creating wings. “Disgusting.” it said, wearing Warabina’s voice. “Where am I now?” Makadu asked, sitting down. Her body had expelled Warabina. “You are alive?” Yuna asked. “Not for long.” Warabina said. “Makadu, quickly I have your sai on me.” Yuna said. Makadu quickly reached over the Yuna, and retrieved her sai. She stood up, and looked at Warabina. Warabina walked in front of Makadu. “Thank you for letting me use your body puppet. Let me show my gratitude, by actually killing you.” Warabina said. Makadu quickly destroyed the chains, holding Yuna, before slamming her sai into Warabina’s gut. Warabina grabbed Makadu’s hair, and threw a punch. Makadu hit Warabina’s fist with the sai, then slammed it into her Warabina’s elbow pit, slamming it in Warabina’s face. Warabina stumbled backwards, outside of the Utaki. “Can’t fight with simple martial arts, can you?” Makadu asked, hitting Warabina several more times. Warabina jumped into the sky. Yuna grabbed Warabina’s foot, and Makadu’s hand, and they disappeared from the Spirit World. Yuna, and Makadu were in the Physical World. Warabina flew in the air, and Yuna held them up. Warabina kicked Yuna off and they fell into the forest. Warabina flew off.
Nakijin stood in front of everyone, the reporters may have ran away from the fight but the camera still stayed watching. Riku immediately activated Fujin’s armour, and flew at Nakijin. Nakijin dodged the attack, and hit Riku into the ground. Ramon appeared above Nakijin and kicked him in the head. Nakijin used the momentum to turn, grabbing Ramon, and slamming him into the ground. Yusuke and Sato rushed at Nakijin. Nakijin ducked Yusuke’s attack, and caught Sato’s punch pulling her in and punching her face, hitting her to the ground. Yusuke turned around, and threw a punch at Nakijin, who kicked Yusuke twice, knocking him to the ground. “Noboru did more to you than I thought.” Nakijin said.
Warabina landed next to Nakijin. “Well the puppet returned to life, and I now have a physical body now. Also the girls are back in the physical world.” Warabina said. “How did you get a physical body?” Nakijin asked. “The Aswang. Remember I ate some of him. I ended up binding my Mabui with his DNA, and he created me a new body, as well as turned the puppet into an actual living creature, possibly another Holy Person.” Warabina said. “So this entire time, the Beast was the key. If only we spent more time learning about things outside of Japan.” Nakijin said. Ramon started laughing. “Jokes on you. You wasted so much time, but you failed to realize something so simple.” Ramon said. “Don’t openly mock them. Wait until we win to mock them.” Sato said. Warabina grabbed her hand, and tore it off, throwing it at Nakijin. Nakijin ate it. “I figured you would taste better.” Nakijin said. “Sorry.” Warabina said. “Ok, they are now true Akuma’s, I repeat, true Akuma’s.” Riku said, standing up. “I also got the curse.” Warabina said. “Great. Let’s save the world then.” Nakijin said.
Warabina held her hand to the sky. A giant Hidori Gomon symbol appeared in the sky. It flew upwards and expanded, letting everyone on the island see it. Hiroko’s mother ran outside, and looked at it. “Now my love. Let’s fix everything.” Warabina said. The sky fractured, as the Spirit World started seeping into the Physical world, causing a purple sky. A lightning bolt shot at Nakijin. “Not yet! You have me to deal with! You won’t win, as long as I stay standing, I’ll kill you both! It’s my job as a member of the Mardom Rooh to protect the innocent! And I am sick and tired of failing! So no more, to keep everyone safe, I’ll tear my body to pieces to kill you!” Yusuke yelled out. The Mabui settled around him, creating crystalized lightning Majutsu armour.
