Plan to Attack

Back to the the café most of the customers were starting to leave because of the late hour, so Nobuyuki took the chance to go upstairs and see how Ryota and the rest were doing.

As he Opened the door of Masami office, he saw a hilarious scene in front of him.

Ryosuke was lying on the couch while Sayaka was sitting on him in a nonchalant manner to stop him from moving

Ryosuke was yelling at her to get off him while Ryota who was sitting on the other couch across them, was trying to calm them down.

"Hahaha, well how the war victims doing?" Nobuyuki joyful by the whole situation

"NOBUYUKI TAKE THAT STRAY OFF MY CHEST" Ryosuke yelled angrily

"No you're wounded Ryo-nii so you must rest" Sayaka said without moving an inch off her current position

"IF I'M WOUNDED THEN YOU MUSTN'T SIT ON ME, GET OFF ME ALREADY OFF"

"Nope I won't let you get up" Sayaka mumbles 

Nobuyuki sit beside Ryota still looking at them fighting.

"So...how long they are like this?"

"About twenty minutes" Ryota said exhaustion draw on his face

Nobuyuki pat his back with sympathy as they continue looking this childplay in front of them.

After a while the door opened again with Masami and Takashi coming through.

"Oh, boss" Nobuyuki stand up along with Ryota as they saw them

"Hello everyone, did you all've been good as we were out?" Masami said like a parent who just came from work

"Masa, Taka did you kill that evil evil demon who hurt me and Ryo-nii?" Sayaka asked her like a child who was waiting back home

"Of course we did sweetheart" Masami patted gently Sayaka. "That big bully won't hurt you again I promise" then she gently caress her Sayaka's neck. 

"Good good, no bruises or any kind cursing symbols have left on your neck"

"HEYYYY, WILL SOMEONE GET ME UP ALREADY?!"

"Oh hi Ryosuke i didn't notice you down there, you tried to come to battle again didn't you" 

Ryosuke look away annoyed, as Takashi approached and stand above him looking at him tenderly.

"Mrs. Ishida I told you so many times, when you're wounded you can't fight properly, you mustn'τ fight recklessly or you will die."

Ryosuke turned to look at him, after a few moments he nodded. Then Sayaka get off him and rise up and sit on the couch properly while Sayaka stick close to him.

"Thanks for getting angry with that evil demon Ryo-nii" she said with a cute fluttered expression

"Shut up you idiot" he said annoyed as he look away

"Okay everyone, now let's get down to business" Masami sat on he desk with Takashi standing beside her

"Thanks to that arrogant fool, we finally learnt where that demon lair is, which has trouble us the last few weeks"

"About time already, where are they hiding" Ryosuke asked eagerly

Masami took a large map from her desk and lay it down on her desk with Takashi holding the corners. Masami pointed with a finger a lake on the map outside of the city.

"Sawano pond? But that's a hiking place, a lot of hikers visit this place especially this time of the year" Ryota comment

"Oh that doesn't stop demons, on the contrary, that means they can easily attack humans without coming to the city" Ryosuke said to him

"I read recently about a group of hikers that disappeared in the woods there" Nobuyuki thought out loud

"How come you never thought to investigate in the countryside?" Ryota asks curious

"Based on their recent attacks in the Kyoto city, we also suggest that their lair will be somewhere also in the city, all this time we've been looking on the wrong place" Ryosuke cursed for their thinking

Takashi helped Masami to wrap the map

"Based on what the Archdemon said, they will launch a large attack in city tonight" 

"TONIGHT? That doesn't give us a lot of choices" Nobuyuki said troubled

"That's right, it will be difficult to deal with them in the city, they will be victims for sure. So I decided to fight them where they are least excepted. We're going to attack their lair directly in Sawano Pond" Masami announced to everyone

Deep silence fell on the room as everyone was thinking the attack.

"I now it's rather dangerous but the time isn't with our side so we need to act quickly, and we need to act now" Masami spoke authoritatively with no room for any suggestions or denials

One by one, everyone nodded positive

"Okay now here's the plan, while me, Takashi and Nobuyuki will go to Sawano pond, Ryosuke, Sayaka and Ryota will stay behind to deal with any kind of demon will attack the city now about the..."

"NO"

Everyone look at Ryota surprised.

"I won't stay behind...not this time, you need all the help you can get, since Sayaka and Ryosuke are wounded you need more help. I won't stay behind when you will get yourselves in such danger."

They look at him tenderly

"You're the ones who told me before I joined SAEA 'Don't expect special treatment or to put my life to your hands' so I'm asking you...Let me fight with you, even in a small way i can help you."

Masami look at him deeply into his eyes, then she smiled and said

"You're really too precious for your own good Ryota dearie"

Then she turned to Ryosuke and Sayaka and asked them:

"Can i trust to protect the city only by yourselves?"

Ryosuke stands up with pride and put his hand on his chest and bow in front of her.

"I won't let you down Mrs. Fukunaga"

Sayaka look at her emotionless and give her a thumbs up.

"We will defeat all the demons Masa"

Masami look at them satisfied and then she stand up and walk in the middle of everyone.

"Okay everyone, Let's go protect our city"
