Chapter 14:

The Wheel Falls

The Crimson Eyes of the Zenin

The Subjugation Ritual continues.
The blood splattered on Mirai’s chest vanished in an instant, healed by his newly mastered Reverse Cursed Technique.
Mirai looked at Mahoraga with burning eyes.
It’s not just a tool, Mirai thought. It’s a god.
In the canon manga, Ryomen Sukuna's Mahoraga was destroyed quickly by Gojo Satoru. But that was because it hadn't had enough time to grow. It hadn't adapted to Purple fast enough.
But this Mahoraga... under Mirai's control... it had infinite potential.
Swoosh!
Mirai dodged another strike from the Sword of Extermination. The blade shaved a few hairs from his head.
"Let's play," Mirai whispered.
His hands formed a seal.
"Toad."
Smack!
A long, pink tongue shot out from the shadows, wrapping tightly around Mahoraga’s waist, momentarily restricting its movement.
"Nue."
Sizzle!
Orange lightning illuminated the pit. The owl-like shikigami burst from the shadows, its wings crackling with electricity. Mirai adjusted its size to fit the narrow space.
He leaped onto Nue's back. The shikigami soared straight up, carrying him toward the moonlit sky.
Mahoraga roared. It flexed its massive muscles, shattering the Toad's tongue like wet paper.
BOOM!
Mahoraga crouched and leaped. The ground cracked under the force. It shot up like a cannonball, closing the distance to Mirai in a heartbeat.
Its Sword of Extermination was raised high, ready to cleave Nue in two.
Mirai looked down. He smiled.
"Too slow."
Poof.
The moment Mahoraga swung its sword, Nue vanished into black ink.
And in its place...
"Max Elephant."
BOOM!!
The sky went dark.
A colossal pink elephant—the size of a five-story building and weighing a thousand tons—materialized in mid-air directly above Mahoraga.
Mahoraga looked up. Its vision was filled with pink skin.
Gravity took over.
CRASH!!!
Max Elephant slammed Mahoraga back down to earth. The impact was cataclysmic. The Zenin estate shook as if a meteor had hit. Dust and debris shot fifty meters into the air.
Five hundred meters away, Naobito felt the ground jump beneath his feet. He swallowed hard.
Is it over?
Inside the crater, Max Elephant sat on the hole it had created.
But then... the elephant shifted.
Slice.
A clean cut appeared on the elephant's side. Mahoraga, missing its lower half, crawled out from beneath the weight.
The golden wheel spun.
Ding-dong.
In seconds, Mahoraga’s legs regenerated. It stood up, stronger and faster than before.
It swung its sword. A slash of pure energy tore a trench through the earth, cutting through several buildings in the distance.
"It adapted to the weight," Mirai noted, landing softly on the edge of the crater. "Ten Shadows alone isn't enough."
Mahoraga lunged. It moved so fast it blurred.
Mirai dodged, relying on his Sharingan's kinetic vision. He slipped past the blade and delivered a Cursed Energy-enhanced kick to Mahoraga's spine.
CRACK!
Mahoraga flew through several walls, buried under rubble.
Ding-dong.
The wheel spun again. Mahoraga burst from the ruins, completely healed.
It charged again.
"Rabbit Escape."
Suddenly, the crater was flooded with white fur. Thousands of shikigami rabbits poured out of the shadows, swarming Mahoraga like a tidal wave. They bit, scratched, and blocked its vision completely.
Mahoraga slashed wildly, killing hundreds of rabbits, but thousands more took their place.
For a moment, the Divine General was blind.
And that was all Mirai needed.
The rabbits vanished instantly.
Mahoraga blinked. And there, standing less than a meter away, was Mirai.
His right eye was wide open. The geometric pattern spun violently.
"Kamui."
Mahoraga raised its sword—but then stumbled.
Its left leg was gone. Erased from existence.
Ding-dong.
The wheel spun to adapt—but it was too slow.
"Disappear," Mirai whispered.
"Kamui."
Space distorted around the Divine General.
The right arm holding the sword vanished.
The torso vanished.
The chest vanished.
Mahoraga roared, but its voice was cut off as its head spiraled into the void.
The regeneration couldn't keep up with the erasure. The adaptation couldn't trigger fast enough.
Finally, there was nothing left.
Clang... Clang...
The golden wheel fell to the ground, spinning on its side for a moment before settling in the dust.
Silence returned to the Zenin estate.
Mirai stood alone in the moonlight. He felt a new, terrifying weight in his shadow. A power that bowed to no one but him.
"Hahahaha!"
Mirai threw his head back and laughed. It was a sound of pure, unadulterated triumph.
The Gedo Mazo.
The Army of White Zetsu.
Divine General Mahoraga.
He had them all.
A kilometer away, the sorcerers shivered at the sound of that laughter.
On the rooftop, Naobito unclenched his fists. He let out a breath he didn't know he was holding.
"He did it," Naobito whispered, his voice trembling with excitement.
"The Subjugation is complete."
"The Zenin Clan... is now the strongest."
