Kai’s Story

Kai’s parents were elite soldiers of the Shem Forest. His father was an extremely powerful warrior in his prime and possessed Neporeto, allowing him to use one power from every category, though imperfectly.

Kai’s mother also had Neporeto, an incredibly rare occurrence. Her power allowed her to transform into a massive and dangerous beast, but she could not control it. When her power went out of control, she destroyed half of the Shem Forest’s wall, which was known to be nearly unbreakable.

Kai’s father went to the Shem Forest Warlord for help. The Warlord told him they had no time to deal with the beast because a war against Kol Forest was about to begin. He ordered Kai’s father to kill his wife before she destroyed the world. As compensation, he was allowed to choose any soldier to join his army.

Kai’s father chose a man with sand-controlling powers.

Kai’s father used his Shadow Neporeto ability, known as Sealing Shadows, which allowed him to seal anything within shadows. He sealed the beast inside his wife, but the seal would only last about one year.

Because Kai’s father had not awakened his power, he could not kill his wife without dying. This gave him one year to awaken his power.

After returning, he fought the beast alone. In the end, he killed both the beast and his wife by himself. The Shem Forest King later gave him the title:

“The Legendary White Beast.”

When Kai’s father saw his son afterward, he realized that one day Kai would grow up and try to kill him. So he created a cruel plan.

Kai’s father’s main elemental power was water, which he used most often. He knew that sand is weak against water, so he decided to give Kai sand powers, believing Kai would never be able to defeat him.

Kai’s father also had Skill-type powers, allowing him to control other people. He controlled his sand-user partner and ordered him to kill Kai.

However, when he attempted this, the leaf bound to his heart exploded, because he had still not awakened his power. He died instantly.

After his death, the leaf flew from his heart and attached itself to Kai’s heart, granting Kai sand powers.

Kai’s father also owned a small bottle that contained an enormous amount of sand. He had sealed the sand inside using shadows. Kai now uses this bottle whenever he needs sand for his powers.

Kai is the main hero’s partner, and his goal is to one day kill his father.

Kai was later trained by Pelso, a retired soldier and powerful soil user. Pelso was so strong that even Warlords feared him. Through Pelso’s teachings, Kai learned advanced techniques, allowing him to control soil as well as sand.
