Chapter 6: To Sylvihana
Adventuring With Bros In A Fantasy World
"So, can you tell us about Sylvihana?" I asked
"Hoho, Sylvihana is a big beautiful town, more bigger than than the recent kingdom Luminaria. You can find a lot of new things things there"
"Well, I can't wait to reach that town" Iramor who was at the back of the carriage said
"Me too, but the expedition is going to take 3 days"

"3 days!!!" The 4 of us shouted
"Hoho, this world is truly a big vast land, I am not surprised. Even King, Queens and Lords are lazy to conquer other kingdoms so yeah. But it's rare when 2 kingdoms conquer each other"
I looked at the supplies at the back of my horse "What if we ran out of food?"
"We will be encountering some small towns on the way. You might like their foods"
3 day of nothing and boredom. I might die.
"Oh right"
Mr. Fale halted his horse, I also halted mine. He ran to the back of the carriage meeting the others.
"Can you excuse me for a while"
Iramor got out of the way. Mr. Fale opened the door to his carriage.
"You 3 can take a rest here, you can open the counter for fresh air and look out of dangers"
"Wooaaah! Thank you" Kasean said
The 3 rushed in inside after their uncomfortable space on the steps and balcony.
"Woah, there are a lot of mysteries here! Potions, necklaces, equipments!"
I can hear their excited voices inside. Mr. Fale went back to the wagon and continued the journey. The counter windows opened, I slow down my horse to look.
I can see them going around the carriage, I can see the potions, brewing potions, accessories, equipments.
"Please restrain yourself from stealing. Mr. Fale might be looking for me mostly that I am the leader"
"Wooaaahhhh, what's with the sudden use of formal words Mathew. Restrain!?" Jayden teased
"Well, I'm just getting used to it hearing these words"
Hours past, we came throught a breathtaking scenery below, small species, small rivers, it was beautiful, a tall waterfall, flying birds above.
"If only I have a camera" I muttered

"Nothing, just a device the captures the still of time I can't explain it properly. It's like capturing memories"

He took out a small square device from his pocket. It has a circular lense, a shutter, a clicking button, it really looked like camera but very old fashion. Instead of plastic, it is made out of wood.
He captured the scenery and gave the device to me.
"We called that thing Capture device"
I looked at it, it really do like a camera, you can see other images.
"You can have it"
"Eh? No sorry I will pay for it instead"
"I already have a lot in the back. It is also an appreciation for accepting the quests"
Somehow, this world is being good to me. Mr. Fale took out a cartridge out of the camera and exchange it with something.
"This is where it placed the captures"

Makes sense, mana acts like energy. The screen dissapeared, I am staring at a stone with blue lines like veins.
"That is a mana stone, it projects what it is seeing through the glass"

"Woi! Iramor, do you still have spare mana potion over there!?" I shouted through the carriage

"You know that mana isn't for thirst right?" Iramor said as he stick his head through the counter.

"I know, I just want to use this camera"
I pointed the camera at the vast beautiful scenery, I waited for my horse to find a great position and captured it.

Hours passed, we camped beside the road taking a break, eating. I was already obsessed with the camera. I took picture of the white-blue butterfly sitting on top of a daisy as I ate.
I turned around to look at the dark forest. I put my plate aside, I stood up and stretched.
"I am just going to take a short adventure in the woods if you don't mind"
"Don't wander too far"
I went in, it was dark, the light struggle to enter because of the merged thick leaves of the trees. I jumped over an old log covered with moss and a sprout of a tiny mushroom. I touched a tree as I walk as if I am the first ever person to touch it.
I saw a big ray of a sun, I was met by a wide square shape are, it does not have any trees, only on the sides. It was filled with small leaves and yellow flowers. If only it is golden hour, it will make the scene more beautiful.
I crouched down, adjusted my camera and captured the scene.
I ran back to the camp "Guys, you have got to see this!"
Iramor woke up as he rubbed his eyes "What is it?"
"Just come and see it for yourself, it's beautiful"
Jayden, Kalean, and Iramor stood up excitingly "I hope it is worth it"
"You kids can go while I look out for our things*
"It is going to be short, you might miss this"
He looked left to right, checking if someone is coming at our way.
He scratched his head "Alright, just for a bit"

They ran around the field like kids. I captured the moment. Iramor suddenly tripped over, we all laughed.
I looked at my camera "Welp, you are going to be with me until I die in this world"
I went around the others and started capturing some moments.
Kalean laying down on the ground, vein, flower and leaves covered her nose. Iramor trying to catch the butterfly by trying to cup his hands together. Mr. Fale leaning on a tree smiling to the camera.
"Hey hey, take a picture of me"
Jayden went to the middle and made a striking pose, both of his legs stick together, straight body, and straightened widened arms. The rays of the sun made it more majestic.

I pictured him "So, how was it"
He gave me a sharp thumbs-up.

"Wait wait, what about you?" Iramor stopped me

I dug a stick on the ground and stuck the camera to a snapped twig of the stick and joined them.

We went onwards, we passed by beauties of nature. A flying land, flowing with water. A sea of clouds, the setting sun, rivers, small towns, and beyond more.
2 days have passed, Iramor, Jayden, and Kalean are groaning at the back, hungry. My stomach growled.
"Why do we not eat right now Mr. Fale? Don't we have stocks of food?" Iramor groaned
Mr. Fale laughed "I am also hungry but I am excited not too eat. As I remember, there is a small village nearby. We can eat lots of delicious food that's why I don't want you kids full"
I looked at the path over yonder, I saw a small village.
"Is that it?" I pointed
"Oh, yes it is. We have arrived, get ready"
We entered in, it was a flat place, people's around, some shops, houses.
We arrived at the center with a fountain. We parked in front of a restaurant with the other horses. We put our feet back to the ground again.
We smelled the air, we can smell the sweet scent of foods. Iramor went straight in, we followed.
A few are having dinner, having fun chatting with somekind of unique dish on the plate. We went straight to an empty table and looked at the menu.
We were amazed by the foods. Fries, parfait, sweets, some of these doesn't exist back in the kingdom Luminaria.
"Excuse, what can we get you dear customers?" A waiter came
"I would like a Boar's Sizzling Meat, Beef Stew, Cold Grapes Shake, a Piece Of Chocolate Cake, and a Lemon Pie" Iramor first said
Looks like someone's hungry.
"Can I have just have a Mana Coated Steak and a Blueberry Mana Juice" Mr. Fale next
"I want Nature's Delight and a Fairy's Drink" Kalean ordered
Jayden looked at me "Order for me, I don't know what to get"
"Okay, I'll get a Knight's Burger, Medium Fries, I guess this one has a high calories and proteins so I'll take the Roasted Pig, and a hot Sweet Coffee. Oh, and also rice"
"Same order as him but change Sweet Coffee to Milkshake"
"Okay, sit tight and your order will come to you"
Kalean chuckled "You both really have something in common"
"Since when did the both of you know each other?" Mr. Fale asked
"We are relatives, since young"

I looked outside the window, looking at the fountain and the people.

I saw a familiar face, looking around before putting his hood on and walk away. He is in a rogue class.
There is something in me that I want to go out and check on him. But I am not so sure and might just embarrass myself.
I looked at Iramor, he is using magic to make a perfect circle of water and played it on his hand. I looked at the other people around the restaurant, they seem to don't mind.
"Is that okay?" I asked Mr. Fale
"As long as it doesn't hurt a person. If you don't know, there is actually a rule for all mage or any magic users. Since using magic are very dangerous thing to have, you will be permanently marked on the face if you used it to an innocent person.
First mark is a warning mark. People around might worry having you around. Second mark will cause some people to avoid. And third mark is the last warning mark. People will surely now avoid you"
Our food has finally arrived, steaming hot and warm. We were excited and instantly dine in.
"So delicious!"

We ate fast, until we were full. Weary on our seat. We rest on the carriage, Iramor was fast asleep already.
Mr. Fale, opened his carriage window to sell. A lot of people came to buy. I looked around the town, trying to pass the time but there is just nothing to do.
"Wanna go walk around, maybe buy something?" I asked Jayden
He stood up "Okay, there's nothing much to do anyway"
"I want to go with you two" Kalean joined
We walked around, we entered a local artisan shop. It is full of shirts, rings, accessories, souvenirs.
Kalean went straight to the rings, Jayden and I went to the necklaces and accessories. I was suppose to have a private conversation with Jayden until Kalean came with us so we'll just keep our distance.
"So, what do you think with our new world?" I asked
"Neutral, there are times it gets boring, like nothing to entertain myself. But sometimes, I like doing quests, and seeing magics"

"The sun is gone. Can we go up on your roof?"
