The Beginning

 After drifting in space for days, Bane excitedly looked forward to the planet in front of him.

“ We’re finally here!” He yelled, while looking at the pilot. The pilot turned towards him and grinned as well. They start to cheer as they enter the atmosphere of a big, brown planet, but before they could land, they hear a ring on the monitor, so the pilot picks up the phone.

“ To whom I am speaking to?” Someone with a deep voice asked.

The pilot thought about it for a second and replied back

“ The name is Soldan.”

“And what brings you to this planet?”

“ I have some goods that I’m looking to sell.”

The guy on the other end took a while before responding.

“Well, your ship is still unidentifiable and you are hovering in an illegal zone, so you have three minutes to move your ship or we shoot it down for tresspassing.”

Bane looked down the window and he saw they were hovering over a city. Not knowing what kind of technology they had, he looks at Soldan and nods at him.

“ All right, we’ll do it.” Soldan replied

Soldan hangs up the phone and moves the ship to a desolate area. When they got out of the ship, all they saw was a wide dessert with some rocky terrains. The place was barren with no sign of life for miles.

“ Man, this place is hot.” Soldan said, while wiping off sweat off his forehead. Bane looked at the sky and, indeed, it was much hotter compared to other planets he has been to.

“Not only is it hot, but there is nothing here. What do the Clipans even do?” Bane asked.

“Well, the Clipans spend most of their time underground digging up minerals and treasure–

“Treasure?” Bane ears perked up when he heard treasure. Soldan smiled.

“ Knew that will pique your interest. The Clipans are always finding valuable items to sell and you’re just in luck, because the other day, they found a rare stone called the Titan Core. They are auctioning it off today and I heard the stone is very valuable.”

“ Is that so?”

“ For sure, many business men from all around the cosmos are showing up here in order to bid for it.” Bane pondered for a second and started to grin.

“ Well, this just gives me an idea. Where are they selling this item?” he asked.

“ I heard they are doing it at Mr. Caesar’s auction located in Molehill Market. You should get there if you just go down south.” Soldan answered, while pointing. Bane looked at the direction that he was pointing.

“ I see. I better hurry up and get there very quickly before it’s all over” he said.

Soldan smiled and then he grabbed his bags and other items.

“ Well thanks again for giving me a ride here, pirate.” he said while flipping a silver coin to him.

“ Sure thing.” Bane replied, grinning. They both walked in opposite directions, each trying to get what they came here for.
