The Library of Truth
The Highest Peak in the world, January 30th 2010
Mount Nisemono, regarded as the bridge between the Earth and the sky, also known as Dead Hikers Mountain, as mankind has yet to reach the top, estimated to be around 30 Km, with hikers giving up or dying at the 9 km mark. The story of Jane starts at the top, the top of the mountain. Against all odds, she made it to the peak of the mountain. Was it pure luck? Pure skill? God's Plan? It matters not, the only thing that matters is she made it there, and that against all biological laws ever discovered, she thrives and survives up there. Jane was the first human ever recorded to have made it to the top of Mount Nisemono, so how? How is a cabin there? A singular cabin, standing above all of humanity. Jane, an ominous feeling rushing over him, enters the cabin. It is empty, or it would be if it wasn't for a single, deformed statue in the center. Jane walks to it, touches it, and closes her eyes...
Jane wakes up in the hospital. As a university teacher specialized in Mythology, she lived an uneventful life, who is about to welcome a new member. She lays in bed, as her newly born child is placed on her chest.
"Hello, Thor". Jane's first born son, Loki, sits by the bed side, staring at his younger brother. Loki and Thor...
