Zak sat down, composing himself to explain the seemingly impossible.「Well, if Jay Lancer and Zak were two different people in one body, then it'd be possible.」Lena’s eyes welled up with fear, and she ran to him.「Does that mean you'll die, Papa?」「No, don't worry? ...Pats her head... I'll be OK.」Randall, sensing the gravity of the decision being made, pressed Zak for a reason.「Why are you doing this now?」「Well... This Kingdom wants their Prince, and I want to live with my family. And it's clear what I've chosen.」
Zak closed his eyes, his entire being shimmering. He transformed back into the figure of Jay Lancer, then instantly collapsed, unconscious.
Lena rushed to his side, terrified.「He's not gone, is he?!」「No, he's not, Princess.」 Iris assured her calmly.「How do you know?」「Just wait for it. ...Goes to Jay...」Jay slowly stirred, the familiar 'Jay Lancer' personality taking over his newly recovered body.「The hell happened?」「Papa!」「Yes, Princess. ...Then Iris sat on his lap... What are you doing?」Jay’s annoyance was immediate and typical.「Woman, get ya rack outta my face! My Princess is watching! Geez, contain yourself!」Iris burst into laughter.「...Laughs... Yep, that's Jay! ...Gets off him...」Lena hugged him tightly, needing confirmation.「You OK, right, Papa?」「Yah, I am. But what happened?」「Wait, you don't remember?」 Lisa asked, astonished.「No. All I remember is sitting in front of y'all, and now I'm on the floor.」「...Giggles... Don't worry 'bout it, OK.」 Iris said, dismissing the near-fatal moment.「OK. ...Stands up... Why the long faces? It's a party, ain't it?!」「Yah!」 Everyone replied, relieved.「Now let's celebrate! ...Then the party continued...」Randall approached his daughter, a serious look in his eyes.「Lisa, here's a question.」「Yes, Father.」「Now that you know the truth, what will you do?」Lisa, the future Second Wife, answered with the political maturity expected of her status.「I'll admit that was quite the secret he was keeping, but he's my soon-to-be husband, so I'll have to trust in his judgment... You knew about him from the start, didn't you?」「Yes, he told me. And since then, his heart has been in the right place.」
