Chapter 57:
I’m Too OP, So I Decided to Troll My Loli Master Instead of Saving the World
The entire room fell silent. Quiet enough to hear a pin drop.
Andrew's logic... actually makes so much sense...
Nanako wiped the sweat from her forehead. "Grandpa Andrew is truly knowledgeable!"
Andrew scanned the room and said indifferently, "Is that so? Nanako, then this mission is yours."
Nanako froze. "Eh? Why me?"
Andrew replied calmly, "Because you are an Ice Mage. The location of the anomaly is the volcanic region in the Southern Silver Empire. Many anomalies are related to a special Fire Curse, so you are the best candidate."
Nanako choked. "But... Nanako doesn't understand Pig Language!"
The Boar grunted angrily. (Roar roar!)
Andrew said flatly, "Isn't this the perfect opportunity to learn a new foreign language?"
Nanako: (O_O)
[ Thirty Minutes Later ]
Nanako, wearing her oversized mage hat and holding her staff, walked toward her Mage Tower. Beside her trotted a fat, clumsy, white pig.
"So..." Nanako covered her forehead, speechless. "How am I supposed to communicate with you? I know you are a human, but right now, you are a pig!"
The Pig ^(* ̄(oo) ̄)^ grunted: "Heng ji oink oink gaga yeah!"
Then, he shook the backpack hanging around his neck. Thud. A thick dictionary fell out.
Nanako paused. She picked up the book. The cover read in bold letters:
《 Basic Grammar of Continental Foreign Languages: Wild Boar Dialect 》 Author: Lynn.
Nanako opened the title page in shock, reading quickly. "So... So amazing! Someone actually made a simultaneous interpretation dictionary for Pig Language? This is too strong!"
The Pig ^(* ̄(oo) ̄)^ grunted: "Yaga ga oink oink yamete!"
Struggling to translate with the dictionary, Nanako roughly understood him. "You're saying... you have two other companions who were also turned into pigs? And they are currently in Winterspring? You want me to find them?"
The Pig nodded clumsily.
Nanako sighed. Since she accepted the mission, as a Deacon of Winterspring, she had to take responsibility.
Soon. The combo of One Loli + One Pig swaggered through the market in the center of Winterspring, arriving at the pigs' temporary lodging.
They pushed the door open and looked around. Nothing. Empty.
"Are you sure they are here?" Nanako asked doubtfully.
The Pig sniffed around, then nudged the table with his snout. "Oink oink humph!"
Nanako walked over and saw a piece of paper on the table with crooked, large handwriting: [ We went shopping. Don't worry! ] A muddy hoof print was stamped at the end as a signature.
Nanako: "..."
Instantly, an image floated in her mind: Two white pigs wearing mage hats and backpacks, strolling through the shopping district together.
No matter how I think about it, that image is incredibly cursed!
Nanako sighed helplessly. "You've already turned into piggies, yet you still have the mood to go shopping? I have to say, your two friends really have big hearts (no sense of danger)!"
She shook her head and turned to leave, taking the big white pig with her to find his friends. After all, going to the South for a mission without guides would be troublesome.
It was indeed strange. Although there were polymorph spells in this world, they usually had a time limit. But these guys were different.
Nanako frowned slightly. Grandpa Andrew had already examined them. Although they had a heavy magical aura, there was no way to turn them back. Could it really be some kind of ancient curse?
Soon, asking around along the way, they returned to the market area.
Looking at the bustling crowd, Nanako said speechlessly, "Piggy, don't you have any way to contact them? Looking blindly isn't a solution!"
The Pig shook his head clumsily.
Nanako shrugged. Suddenly, she froze. "Wait a minute. In Winterspring... besides us, does anyone else know their true identity?"
The Pig paused, then shook his head.
Nanako tilted her head. "So... I mean... this is a Food Market... If they are really treated as just pigs... what would happen?"
Just as she finished speaking. Passersby nearby were chatting loudly with admiration.
"I tell you, Winterspring is amazing! Even the pigs here have magical energy!" "Yeah! Did you see those two big white pigs wearing mage hats this morning? You could tell at a glance they weren't ordinary pigs!" "Exactly! They were caught as soon as they walked out of the market. They were squealing like crazy, but they got carted off to the slaughterhouse instantly!"

"..."
The wind blew past Nanako’s sluggish face. Beside her, the Pig’s mouth hung open, his black-bean eyes staring blankly.
In an instant. Nanako and the Pig widened their eyes simultaneously, expressions of pure horror on their faces.
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!" Nanako grabbed her twin-tails and screamed. (ΩДΩ)
"THEY DIDN'T ACTUALLY GET TREATED AS PIGS AND SENT TO BE BUTCHERED, RIGHT?!"
[ Five Minutes Later ]
After a frantic sprint. The Loli and the Pig stopped, panting, in front of a butcher's stall.
Nanako grabbed the counter, asking urgently: "Quick! Tell me! Did you catch two piggies wearing mage hats and backpacks a while ago?!"
The stall owner paused, then laughed heartily. "Oh, you know about them too? That's right! About half an hour ago. I was just about to browse the market when, good lord, two fat, strong white pigs swaggered right past me!"
"Th... Then what?" Nanako stammered.
The owner rolled up his sleeves proudly. "Need you ask? Walking so arrogantly in front of a butcher like me? If I didn't catch them, who would? I pinned them down instantly! Let me tell you, they screamed loud! I had to call seven or eight guys to carry them back!"
Nanako: (ΩДΩ)!! Pig: (ΩДΩ)!!
Nanako asked in a daze, "Then... did you slaughter them?"
The owner laughed. "Not yet! I was about to, but a customer came by and took a fancy to those two fat, beautiful white pigs immediately! bought them on the spot with a heavy pouch of coins!"
"He said he wanted to make Soup!"
Nanako was overjoyed. That means the two pigs haven't been killed yet?! Great! Really great! As long as they aren't slaughtered, it's not too late!
She asked excitedly, "Quick! Tell us who that person is! We have very important business with him!"
The owner was about to speak.
But just then. The crystal on Nanako’s staff glowed faintly. [ Incoming Voice Message ]
Lynn’s cheerful voice rang in her ear:
"Master! Disciple just bought some excellent pork. I'm planning to make Honey Glazed Pig Trotters for you, and I'm also simmering a soup. Come back quickly to eat! Signing off now!"
Whoosh. A breeze blew past.
Nanako froze in place. Petrified.
