[1st Year Students]

• Yo Ishigami

In his previous life, he was a world-class conductor, but died in a sudden accident at the age of 48. He was reincarnated as his fourth-grade self.

Upon entering junior high, he immediately studied abroad in Germany. In his third year, he became the youngest winner of the Charles-sur International Conducting Competition, a gateway for young conductors, and also won the Audience Award. However, winning prizes was never his objective.

He returned to his hometown in the autumn of his third year, spent the rest of his junior high days at Mishima Junior High, and took the entrance exam for Yahagi-Kita High School.

Inside his desk at home, there is a tattered notebook in which he has written down everything he remembers about the "future" that once happened, and a book called "The Tome of Distorted Fate" that floats and glows yellow.

• Mito Kawai

A girl from Shosei Junior High, a powerhouse school in wind music. She started playing the flute in junior high and diligently practiced, participating in competitions in her second year.

When she was in elementary school, she was moved by the performances of various schools at the National Competition where her cousin participated, inspiring her to aim for that stage herself. She has an older sister, Mizuha, in the second year.

• Miku Karino

A girl from Shosei Junior High, same as Mito. An experienced Euphonium player. She won the Silver Award at the Tokai Ensemble Contest in a brass quintet. She is the type whose thoughts show on her face immediately. She has two older brothers.

• Hiroto Iwatsuki

A boy from Mishima Junior High. His instrument is the Trombone.

Meeting Yo in the autumn of his third year led him to participate in the Ensemble Contest instead of retiring, propelling him all the way to the Tokai Tournament. One of the "Mishima Brass 5." He trusts Yo from the bottom of his heart. He has a calm personality and four younger siblings. He often wipes his glasses.

• Mion Shiina

A girl from Mishima Junior High. She is soft-spoken, but she is a trumpeter who excels at super high notes. Like Hiroto, she was strongly influenced by her meeting with Yo. One of the "Mishima Brass 5."

[2nd Year Students]

• Asumi Kiriya

1st Clarinet, female. The Club President and Student Council President. She is intelligent but has a very dynamic and go-getter personality.

• Kanade Usami

1st Horn, female. Vice President and Brass Section Leader. She is often dragged around in a supporting role for Asumi. Her "cool and gallant" personality has earned her a passionate fan base among the horn section.

• Mizuha Kawai

2nd Clarinet, female. Mito's older sister. She is a bit more childish than her sister, but she sincerely wants to support her hard-working younger sister.

[Adults]

• Mr. Ando (Ando-sensei)

55 years old. A portly, middle-aged man with round glasses and graying hair. He started conducting only after coming to Yahagi-Kita 4 years ago. He is basically always smiling and is adored by students who call him "Ando."

His teaching philosophy is to find joy in his students' growth. His favorite food is "Ogura & Margarine" bread, but he keeps his love for this unhealthy bread a secret from his wife.

• Susumu Seba

A former employee of a securities company. He was invited by Yo, who came for investment consultation, and entered into an employment relationship with him after retirement. He serves as the representative of "Risestone Production," an office created to keep Yo's financial success low-profile.

He supports Yo in various aspects, acting like a butler. His work is only from noon to evening, and when he has no external duties, he mainly works in a room at Yo's home.

His two daughters are already independent, and he lives with his wife. He secretly thinks of Yo as his son.
