Chapter 2:

Chapter 2: First match Part 2

W.O.D

The sunlight stretched wide across the Eye of Storm Stadium, turning the glass panels of the upper tiers into mirrors of gold and white. Sixty thousand voices blended into a living roar that rolled across the field in waves, banners shaking, drums beating somewhere deep in the crowd.

Heat rose slowly from the pitch, bending the air just enough to make distant figures shimmer as players finished their final warm ups. The stadium did not feel like a building. It felt like a living organism waiting to witness something unforgettable.

Inside the elevated commentary room, surrounded by glass and glowing monitors, Derki adjusted his headset and leaned closer to the microphone, a small smile forming as the live signal connected across the world.

“Welcome everyone. I am Derki Aye, and sitting beside me is my partner Jone Roya, ready to break this game down with his expert analysis. Once again, welcome to the Eye of Storm Stadium, where Azies and Rebelians face each other in front of more than sixty thousand spectators.”

The camera slowly panned across the sea of fans as Derki continued speaking about the perfect conditions for a high tempo match, mentioning how games under this bright sun often became faster and more unforgiving. He then shifted the focus toward the teams, his voice carrying excitement that matched the stadium noise beneath them.

“Rebelians versus Azies has officially begun. Jone, what are you watching first today?”

Jone sat slightly back, calm but focused, his eyes moving between live feeds and tactical overlays on his screen.

“Honestly, I am very excited to watch Mith today. Despite his age, he is already playing like someone who belongs at the very top of this league.”

The way Jone spoke made Mith feel less like a young player and more like an approaching storm. Down on the pitch, Mith moved with quiet confidence during warm up drills, every motion sharp and controlled.

Derki followed the momentum smoothly, speaking about Azies as a complete unit. He mentioned Iori as an assassin who never forced openings but simply appeared inside them, the kind of player who made defenses question their own structure without warning.

Enboze was described as a marksman who thrived under pressure, the type of player who did not rush moments but owned them. Tewel was introduced as the defensive backbone of Azies, while Yuhaiw was spoken of with a certain quiet respect, the kind reserved for players who shaped matches without needing attention.

Then the focus shifted to Rebelians.

Derki’s tone lowered slightly, carrying weight rather than hype.

“Soya will be someone Azies cannot ignore today. He is one of those marksmen who makes chaos look simple.”

On the field, Soya stood near the edge of the formation line, eyes calm, posture relaxed, like someone who had already imagined every possible version of the match.

“And Yagmi…” Derki continued, pausing just enough to let the name settle into the broadcast. “He is the type of assassin who shows up exactly when games are decided.”

Nearby, Yagmi adjusted his gloves slowly, his expression unreadable, his focus completely locked onto the field.

Jone added quietly that Aswel and Sira together formed one of the most reliable defensive pairings in the league, while Aihyo often acted like the silent architect behind Rebelians’ tactical rhythm.

Below them, the players slowly moved into starting positions. The crowd volume rose again, not as cheering, but as something deeper. Anticipation. Expectation. Hunger.

The match was seconds away, and the entire stadium felt like it was holding its breath.

" Jone let's take another look at the lineup Reblians have Soya,(marksman) Yagmi,(assassin ) Aswel,(defender) Sira ( defender) and lastly Aihyo ( mage ) I'm very excited to Yagmi " Derki says.

Then " Derki now let's take a look at Azies they have Iori ( Assassin) Mith (fighter) Enboze ( Marksman) Tewel (defender) and lastly Yuhaiw ( mage ) i can't wait to see Yuhaiw " Jone comments.
