Chapter 11 - 'B.O.R'

[After winning the fighting against 'The Chupacabra',Yoshio immediately went back to help Tomoki and Rinku against Sheriff Dean when suddenly everyone in the town started screaming in terror.Confused by all of this,Yoshio looked over at the town and saw a huge serpent.Will Tomoki and Rinku manage to beat Sheriff Dean and Sam?]

Back at the town hall.Tomoki was running into every building trying desperately not to get eaten by the giant serpent while Sheriff Dean was controlling the serpent with the pungi.Rinku tried to get closer to shoot Dean but was immediately stopped by Sheriff Sam.With the serpent destroying buildings,Sheriff Dean playing the pungi and Sheriff Sam firing bullets.It was extremly difficult for Rinku to be aware of his surroundings.The noise and vibrations kept disturbing him,causing him to lose concentration.Tomoki on the other hand was not doing better.Not only was the serpent controlled by Dean but the serpent got Tomoki's scent.It knew where to find him.Tomoki's dominant hand was injured,he couldn't use the blade of light with his left hand due to the lack of experience and training.His best bet was to try and outrun the serpent,just to conjure up a plan.

''Shit...What do I do??''
''My hand is in pain,Rinku can't see and I don't know where is Yoshio''
''I have to break the pungi so Dean won't be able to control the serpent however the problem is Sam....He keeps on stopping Rinku every time he gets close to Dean.''
''Maybe if Yoshio wa-''
''No!! I can't always bet on Yoshio saving us.We need to learn how to save ourselves in the worst case scenario''
''I don't know how well Rinku can fight...Maybe I can send him to Sam while I go and destroy Dean's pungi'''
''But the bandits is surrounding Sheriff Sam...Shit...''

While lost in his thoughts,the serpent destroyed the building Tomoki was hiding in.He grabbed some spices lying on the counter and threw it into the serpent's eyes,temporarily blinding it to buy himself some time.He ran into another building where he found a barrel of oil.He splashed and covered himself with oil to get rid of his scent so the serpent can't track him.The serpent (Still blinded) started moving towards the building Tomoki was in.It moved around the whole building,circling it,mainly because Tomoki's scent vanished here last.It broke down the front wall and slowly approached Tomoki (Who was standing completely still).The serpent approached Tomoki moving more and more closer to him,trying to find his scent.It's forked tongue coming out of it's mouth and collecting the scent particles.The mouth opened showing it's massive fangs until it stopped....The serpent closed it's mouth exited the building.Tomoki's oil plan worked.

He waited until the coast was clear and started sprinting towards Rinku.

''RINKU!!!! RINKU!!!!''
''CHANGE OF PLANS!! GO AFTER SHERIFF SAM!! I WILL DEAL WITH SHERIFF DEAN!!''

He should not have screamed...

Directly right behind him the serpent started to approach Tomoki at a rapid pace.Tomoki (who was almost out of breath) ran towards Sheriff Sam's direction.Sheriff Sam ( confused ) started to panic when all of a sudden stood Tomoki infront of him.

''Get ready for some real fun''

Right before the serpent could eat Tomoki,Tomoki leaped onto the head of the serpent.Tomoki was riding the serpent.Sheriff Sam hated the way Tomoki taunted him and leaped onto the serpent to fight Tomoki.Tomoki grabbed his sword with his left hand.

''Now or never''

In his mind,this was the perfect time he could learn how to use the blade of light with his left hand.Sheriff Sam grabbed his rifle and immediately stared firing bullets at Tomoki.Luckily Tomoki deflected the bullets with his sword.Unfortunately the serpent did not make it easier for them.It crashed into every single building while the both of them were fighting on his back.Due to the movement,Sheriff Sam could not hit Tomoki but this was an advantage for Tomoki.He didn't need to use a gun,he just needed to get close to Sam so he could cut him.Tomoki held on to the serpent tightly and made his way slowly towards Sheriff Sam.Sheriff Sam figured out what Tomoki was about to do so he jumped off immediately.He hid by the side of a building waiting for the serpent to go pass so he can catch Tomoki by surprise by shooting him.He patiently waited until he could feel the ground trembling.He knew the serpent was close so he aimed his gun,ready to fire.UNEXPECTEDLY the serpent burst through the wall Sam was standing by and before he knew it,he was consumed by the serpent.

Now all that was left was trying to kill the serpent.Tomoki held on to his sword tightly with his left hand.The blade of light started to glow and a white aura was shown on the blade.A million doubts raced through his head.What if it fails? What if my sword breaks? 

''Enough about these doubts''
''In life to honestly grow as a person.You have to do things you are uncomfortable with"

Tomoki sliced the serpent's head,killing it on the spot.Sheriff Sam has been defeated and the giant serpent has been killed

[Tomoki won]

Meanwhile Rinku had taken out every bandit and deputy Sheriff Sam sent to protect Sheriff Dean.Sheriff Dean stopped playing his pungi (after realizing that his serpent was dead) and threw it at Rinku.Sheriff Dean then ran towards the abandoned mansion.Rinku walking slowly towards Dean.Sheriff Dean entered the mansion but twisted his ankle on a crack on the floor.He grabbed a knife but just then felt a gun behind his skull.

''Please...Please let me go Rinku.."

Sheriff Dean has given up.Realizing his time was near,he begged Rinku to spare his life,hoping that he might be given a second chance.

''Pleas-''

He was shot in the back of his head,falling to the ground where Narumi and Sabrina's blood was.

[Rinku won]

He exited the mansion where he was greeted by Yoshio and Tomoki.

''I still can't believe you killed 'The Chupacabra' ''
''ME??? YOU KILLED A BIG ASS SNAKE WHILE INJURED!!''
''LIKE HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE''
''I just used my sword that's all''
''You are really heroic for that.I would have just given up''
''HEY RINKU!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!! TOMOKI KILLED A BIG ASS SNAKE!!"

Rinku smiled and felt as the breeze passed through his hair.He did it.He defeated Sheriff Dean.

NIght had approached and almost every single building was destroyed but that did not stop the town's folks from partying.Realizing their town is finally free from the bandits and Sheriff,they can actually celebrate.Tomoki was seated at the campfire drinking his worries away.His hand had already been treated so he was going to be okay.Yoshio helping himself to the food at the buffet table while Rinku sat on the steps of the abandoned mansion.

''RINKU!! RINKU? Are you not coming to eat and dance with us''
''I'm good Yoshio.I already had an eventful day''
''You can't believe it can you?''
''Honestly no I can't.Thank you Yoshio for coming and helping me.I just can't thank you enough''
''Ahh..Don't worry that's what brothers are for''
''Brothers??''
''Yeah..We are brothers.We will always have each other's backs''
''Right you are Yoshio.NOW WHAT ARE WE WAITING FOR?? THERE'S A PARTY TO JOIN!! COME ON''

Rinku got up to go and join Tomoki at the campire with the rest of the town's folks while Yoshio sat at the mansion's steps.For one final time before they leave,Yoshio entered the mansion to where his mother's blood was.

''Don't worry mom.I'm coming to save you''

Just then a powerful gust of wind blew opened a window and moved the carpet on the floor.Yoshio looked at the ground to where the carpet was and saw....On the ground written in dried up blood was B.O.R .

''B.O.R??''
''What does that mean??''
