It had been an uneventful Saturday morning so far.

Selena had left Red's room and stepped into the common area. Her glance immediately shifted to Natascha and Red, who were preparing breakfast in the kitchen.

“We’re making waffles. Care to join us?”

For a second, Selena had a sparkling look in her eyes.

“Old sweet tooth.” whispered Natascha.

“Sure,” said Selena. “Let's just make coffee and get breakfast done.”

“You don't drink coffee.” said Natascha, “You drink sugary syrup with milk.”

“Well, I am sweet, so I like sweet stuff,” said Selena. “You wouldn't understand, you drink it black, you're just bitter.”

“Am not.” said Natascha, “You want to be the tiebreaker?” she asked while turning towards Red.

“Why would you ask that again? You know I like my meals spicy and my desserts bittersweet,” answered Red.

“Fence sitter,” responded Selena.

“So... when does the whole game thing start?” Selena asked.

“'The Dreaming Machine' interfaces arrived an hour ago. They should be biometrically locked, but we should check that everything works as soon as possible. The servers should go live in three days.”
