Chapter 6:

Chapter 6 Alex

BUBL

Chapter 6 Alex

The ride back home was silent; no words left any of the agents' mouths or Alexe’s. As they made their way to one of the entrances to BLD, the car was abandoned. which was done so they would not compromise the location of BLD The rest of the walk was onfoot; it was not too long, though, as they quickly made it, opened the hatch, and went inside, going to meet up with John to discuss what might have happened to Alex.

John entered the room. “So what do you think happened?” Alex looked up, still in the middle of a conversation with himself, and replied, “I don’t know, but it might have something to do with bubl clones.” John looked with a serious expression now. “If you think that I have reason to be worried, let’s head to the scanning room.” They walked there slowly. Alex looked down, contemplating what would happen, thinking about what he could do. Then they made it there, and Alex was laid on a bed as a weird flat screen was placed above him, and it scanned Alex. Red alerts popped up in the chest area – where Alex was hit the most by the bubl clone. He was injected with something that looked to be some kind of bubl serum, maybe the way bubl clones were made, especially the high-level ones. Everyone was worried if Alex had really been injected with bubl serum; he did not have much time left. He would soon be a bubl clone; this would mean he had about 5 weeks left. In that time, BLD had to find a cure and fast, but for now, Alex would have to be sidelined for missions. Maybe even forever.

She strode in with unmatched confidence, setting the mood everywhere she went. She was Miranda, the new gal in town. She was replacing Alex while he was off, though she thought he should be permanently changed. She turned around and looked at John. “Who cares about that guy anyway? “We’re wasting time and resources finding a cure,” she spoke in a pestering and annoying voice. She was trying her best to persuade John to give up on Alex, like that was ever going to happen to John Alex was like his one kin, his son, though not by blood but by pure connection. John would never stop, even until the last moment. Even if the council were opposed, they were being incredibly annoying, testing John's power in BLD. You see, John did not have absolute power; he was chosen by council members. Even he found it quite stupid since he founded BLD in the first place; they were just honorary people who just wanted power and control. He did not know why he even made the council; he was really starting to regret his decision, but either way, he had to save Alex, not only because he saw him as a son but also because if they found a cure, it would weaken Glint's control. Imagine if they sprayed it all over the city; it would cure thousands of bubl clones, but Miranda was not very interested in this plan. She was a bit too eccentric and close-minded; she did not really care about anyone else but herself. He did not even want her to be chosen; it was the council again interfering at some point he knew he would have to disband it but not was not the time BLD still needed to build power; it did not need a civil war Glint would take advangate of that and decisively strike the moment he knew where we were and he had a feeling he already did

“Dad, why can’t we just remove John as the leader?” she said, turning to one of the council members, aka her dad. Miranda was one of the council leader's daughters. “Not now, Miranda, don’t worry, you will soon lead when the time is right, but now is not the time. You know it; we need more connections and more time to spread the rebellion right under John’s nose. Miranda left, and as the council member turned around a shadow appeared touched him and left. Her dad began to turn pale but quickly changed to normal and with a sinister voice he said, “Another one Down”

John wasn't the only one who was making new innovations. Glint was not falling behind. He had been working on a beta version, which he named Bubl. It was an update to all high-level clones, but before he tested it on one of the very ones fighting Alex, it worked, but it was too slow; 5 weeks would not be enough. He needed to spread his influence once more. BLD was like a roadblock, and now he needed to break through it so he changed it. It improved now it was instant and unstoppable, and he already began to infiltrate BLD. He needed to take control of the council and use it to fracture BLD. That was the best way to defeat BLD was to go for the inside, not from the outside. After all, inside is the belly of the strongest giants, and that was especially the case with BLD; they were unstable, while Bubl was structured, with one person at the top, not a useless oligarchic system.

The black figure was back, ready again. The next target was one of the council's daughters; she should be easy to get based on how fragile she is. She was all talk, no bite, and that was about to catch up with her. Alex sat in his bed looking around when suddenly he heard something ringing in his mind: “Miranda, Miranda, run.” The voice was strangely like his own, though more confident and more assertive. He went to John to tell him to warn him he had to let John know it could be dangerous. Bubl might be targeting Miranda, maybe to do something like what was done to him; he could not let that happen. “John, I think Miranda is in trouble.” John turned around. “Well, that sounds like a good thing,” clearly joking, but Alex had a serious expression on his face, which slowly made John understand, and with that, nothing else was needed; they dashed, heading to Miranda’s quarters. They had to make it in time. They did not know why they had to get there, but they did know they had to. Swoosh, the door swung open as both entered Miranda's room. WHAT ARE YOU DOING?” She shouted, her veins looking like they were about to pop. She turned, but at that moment a voice rang even louder in Alex's head, “GO SAVE HER. GO GO GO,” he ran towards Miranda, and at that moment, a black figure came out of the wall about to touch Miranda, but Alex pushed her, taking the hit. His face turned lifeless, his eyes blank, and he turned and bowed towards the black figure. He seemed strange, but only for a moment,t he snapped back to normal, punching the figure at the same time itA was shocked, appalled, 'How could someone resist the leader's invention?' it was pure bubl god particles; it should instantly create something higher than high-level bubl clones – supreme bubl clones the peak of humanity and glint was one of them He was exposed to a lot of the particles,, and so the story goes: he rose to power and was now basically the ruler of this very city, but truly it wasn't an invention; it was a discovery. Anyway, the figure dashed, ready to make a quick escape, hoping to make his way out to escape and he did but a mission failed in bubl is loss of life he couldnt go back there he wouldnt he would be tossed aside like rags he revealed info to BLD but in turn he gained info about Alex somethin was wrong not normal he seemed more infected by bubl than their tech could currently do not like that was a bad thing just unexpected it was working better than expected but for some reason only on Alex he would figure that out later right now he needed to run maybe make a new organzation of cast aways of those deemed useless he would prove to Glint that there was power in numbers
