Jay stood before the King, Alberto, who still addressed him by his recently acquired title.「Baron Jay von Lancer, why are you here?」「Well, for two reasons, Your Majesty.」「Oh, which are?」「First: My family and I will go on vacation for a while.」「Why's that, if you don't mind me asking?」「Well, it's kinda classified, since I'm still an Adventurer.」「So it's Guild related?」「Yes, it is.」「...Sighs... OK. And the second reason?」「Oh, yah. ...A human test tube comes out of his DS... It's him.」
Queen Alia gasped, tears welling in her eyes as she recognized the unconscious man floating in the alchemical containment field.
「Is that—」「Yes. It's Prince Zakry.」「...Tears roll down her face... But how?」「Well, with alchemy only I can use. And he'll be walking around again in about a week, but with no magic.」「That's OK!」 Alia declared, relieved.The magical tube floated gently toward her.King Alberto, still wary, pressed Jay for a hidden motive.「Why are you doing this?」Jay gave a genuine, heart-warming answer.「Well, the Queen's hugs are real comforting.」Alia understood completely.「I see. ...Wipes her tears away and hugs Jay... Thank you very much!」「You're welcome. ...She lets go of him...」Jay took one last, long look at the doppelgängers of his Earthly deceased parents.「Mom and Dad. Thanks for everything.」Alia was utterly shocked.「...Shocked... Zakry?」「Yah, but from Earth.」 Jay explained, his voice softening.「But you just called me Mom!」「Yah. I figured if I'm your son's doppelgänger, then you're my parents' doppelgängers. So, thanks, even though it was short.」「You're welcome.」 Alia replied, tears returning, now mixed with profound gratitude.Randall stepped forward.「So, where are you heading to?」「We're going East.」「OK. And you'll find what you're looking for there.」 Randall promised, knowing Jay's deeper mission.「Thanks.」Liani rushed into the room, looking frantic.「Jay!」「Yo?」
