Divine Empire of Light — A Mother’s Scream
The Celestial Hall stood in silence.
Lúcia remained at its center.
Aurora trembled.
Her aura of light erupted like a collapsing star.
“YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND!” she screamed.
Her voice echoed through all of Aurelion.
“DO YOU THINK BEING A GODDESS IS GLORY?!IT IS LOSS!IT IS DEATH!IT IS WATCHING EVERYONE YOU LOVE DISAPPEAR!”
Lúcia tried to speak.
“Mother, I only want to protect—”
“PROTECT?!” Aurora interrupted.
“I ruled wars.I buried worlds.I watched children turn into cosmic dust.”
She stepped closer.
“I did not give birth to you to become a soldier.I gave birth to you to become life.”
Elisabeth tried to intervene.
“Aurora… destiny does not ask for permission.”
“ENOUGH!” Aurora shouted.
Lúcia felt her heart shatter.
“So you hate me for wanting to fight?”
Silence.
Aurora’s eyes filled with tears.
“I love you too much to lose you.”
Lúcia ran.
Lúcia's Chamber — Silence and Pain
Her room was made of soft light.
But all Lúcia felt was darkness.
She fell to her knees.
“Why does loving hurt so much?”
Outside the chamber, Aurora collapsed to the floor.
“I destroyed her…”
Elisabeth approached.
Aurora gripped her arm.
“Speak to her.Not as a goddess.As a mother.”
“Tell her I don’t know how to protect her without hurting her.Tell her I am afraid.Tell her I don’t know how to be strong without being harsh.”
Elisabeth nodded.
“I will speak to her.”
Empire of Darkness — The Invisible Son
Govenaks sat in a dark chamber.
Curled into himself.
Crying.
Ária entered.
“My son…”
“He never looks at me!” Govenaks shouted.
“He never asks if I’m alright!He never calls me heir!”
He trembled.
“I try.I train.I bleed.I obey.”
“But to him… I don’t exist.”
He fell into her arms.
“He only sees Kaisein.Only speaks of Kaisein.Only loves Kaisein.”
“And me?What am I?”
Ária held him tightly.
“You are my son.My blood.My flesh.My soul.”
She held his face.
“Do not let a father’s blindness define who you are.”
“The pain you feel… one day will become strength.”
“But choose what you will do with it.”
Govenaks cried harder.
“I just wanted him to see me.”
“I see you,” she whispered.

The ground was shattered.
His body bled.
His muscles trembled.
But he did not stop.
“MORE,” he growled.
Shadows crushed him.
He rose again.
“MORE.”
His mind screamed.
He banished my brother.He erased him.He forgot him.
Hatred.
Silence.
Fury.
Void.
He fell to his knees.
Breathing heavily.
His eyes were no longer those of a young man.
They were ancient.
Dangerous.
Enigmatic.
“I will not become you.”
“But I will not be weak.”
He stood.
And continued.
