A Terrible Accident.

Love is described as the deep affection that a being feels for another. It’s such an absurd thing, don’t you think? to know that no matter where you are, someone is longing for you. The world’s distractions can’t break your focus, but what if the world is so bizarre? that you lose sight of what’s in front of you? Will your love still be there, or will they be lost somewhere in the mist?

Lobetha woke up from bed, rubbing her eye and looking around dumbfounded. She just had the best sleep ever. She went to pick up the clock alarm to check what time it was.

8:25 PM.

She took away the blankets and- Wait, that’s late as heck! She would check again to see if she read it right.

Yep, still 8:25 PM. No, 8:26 PM!?

“Waaaaaa!!! Mama why didn’t you wake me up!?” She screams in call for her mother.

“I called you out like five times! And you didn’t ANSWER TO ME!”

She would change into her school uniform as fast as she could and grabbed her wand, she ran through the door with a toast in her mouth.

And on the way to school, when she’s about to make a turn…

BONK!

“Kyaaa~!” She falls back onto the floor, toast flying across the street. She has just ran over someone.

“O-ow! OH uhh… Are you okay, miss?” The boy she just ran into extends her hand.

Ignoring him, she goes to feel her mouth. And when she notices that her toast is missing… She was furious…

“M-my… generic toast… my…”

The fearsome Lobetha stands up, grabbing her wand and aiming it at the boy. A tiny orange ball forms in front of him. The air crackles as the wind raises up into the orb, making it bigger and bigger in the process. It starts to set itself on fire as it increases in intensity. The newfound flames increase in length.

“W-wait! Uhh you are Lobetha right? We go to the same class! I-I’m sorry I should’ve been more careful!”

Between the anger Lobetha hears the boy's words and recognizes that voice. That’s Jasuki! her crush!

“J-Jasuki!?”

The fiery ball pops like a balloon into confetti with the sound of a kazoo in an instant, there is a moment of silence. Lobetha's face is like a tomato right now, she’s so embarrassed about what just happened.

Jasuki just stares, blinking like the generic idiot he is.

“AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!”

Lobetha breaks into a run to school, and enters the classroom still fully flustered. She goes to her seat and covers her head with her hat.

“Ara~ Ara~… You are more excited than usual.”

Lobetha sends her eyes upwards, just to be greeted by Mimithia’s warm smile.

“...M-mimithia..” She calls out in tears.

“WAAAAAA!!! I ALMOST BLEW UP MY ADORABLE JASUKI INTO PIECES!!! WAAAAA!!!!”

Lobetha violently shakes her mimic friend at literal lightspeeds.

“UUuuggghhhh…” Mimithia’s face turns green due to her ramblings.

“Let me tell you what happened, I woke up late so I had to hurry to school. And because I’m not skipping breakfast I decided to be a generic anime girl and run with a delicious toast in my mouth-”

As she goes on and on about her troubles, she doesn’t stop a second shaking Mimithia.

All of her eyes roll and roll over the nausea. She thought it would be best to stop her before she pukes her hearts out.

“Uh… Okay Lobetha, you are the smartest person that knows how to treat with people, I bet you can come up with something.” She pushes herself out of Lobetha, almost dropping her onto the floor.

Lobetha gasps and says, while regrabbing Mimithia’s shoulders and shaking her some more “You’re right Mimithia! I AM a genius!”

“Soooo, what’ll you be doing?”

Lobetha thinks to herself for a moment, and while grabbing her wand she says just to finish with a pose. “I’ll give him an apology gift!”

Mimithia claps

“Very well! And what will you be giving him?”

Her will just breaks, and she hides onto her hat again.

“I don’t know, I don’t know what he likes!”

“No wait, It’s just an apology gift. I don't have to go all out on it. I just attempted to blow him up into a million pieces, Anyway thank you Mimithia!”

Mimithia rolls all of her eyes and sighs.

“Also another thing, you said ‘Ara~ Ara~’ before. What was that for?”

Her face becomes all red and she slightly jumps startled, from her shoulder spikes grow out in an instant.

“G-galdow taught me that… I was just trying to be funny, please forget about it!” She hides her face in her hands.

Lobetha just stares at her.

“Uh…”

And just like that, the class has finished and everyone is leaving to have some lunch. Lobetha sees Jasuki alone. He is a little late to go with his friends so this is the perfect opportunity.

She runs to him and taps him on the shoulder, her heart pounding. He turns to look at her.

“Oh uuhhh, Hiii Jasuki! Uhmm… hehe… I wanted to talk to you about earlier this morning…”

Jasuki looks terrified and turns pale, and she notices.

“No no no no! uuhh… I wanted to apologize for trying to blow you up into pieces… Hehe…”

He relaxes, he thought she was out for revenge.

“Ahhh, hahaha okey, it’s fine you don’t have to worry about it..”

“But it’s not for me! It could have been very bad so… I got you a little apology gift…”

Lobetha reaches into her bag, and extends her hand showing… Niku!?

“Saluta-” Lobetha crushes him and drops him onto the floor with a loud thump.

“THAT WAS NOT IT. IDIOT, IDIOT, IDIOT, IDIOT!” She starts smashing her wand against Niku, he looks very beaten up… jeez…

Jasuki awkwardly looks away.

Lobetha gasps for air.

“Ahh… Ah… Ahh… Okey…, phew! Just what I needed.. So…”

She reaches into her bag once again, and pulls out… her lunch!

“I see you usually get lunch from the canteen, so I thought. I could share mine with you!”

“That’s what you ca-!” Niku tries to call out from the floor, but she stomps on him.

Jasuki gulps, still a little pale from her straight-forward personality.

“Ahh okey yeah uhh, I mean I usually have lunch with my friends but… I guess you can join us-”

“NO!” She calls out.

“No I mean… uhhmm... hehe… what if it’s only the two of us…?”

Lobetha is clearly nervous, she wishes the floor could just swallow her whole.

“Y-Yeahhh… sure uhh… let me just tell my friends..”

Jasuki thought that if he said no to her. Lobetha would kill him right away, so he goes with her down the hallway and catches up to his friends.

“Yooo, Marvin, Glalorg. I will have to skip lunch with you’ll today. Hope that’s fine.”

“Uh? Why bro?” Marvin calls out

“Ohh uhh well, I just owe her something… Apparently, yeah so I gotta sit this one out.”

Marvin looks at Lobetha.

“Hmm… I see, okey bye.”

And just like that, Lobetha and Jasuki leave the hallway.
