Chapter 1: Mirrors breakdown

Far away from his home the young boy whose name was shin tomoko was in a dimenstional unknown to him, and in front of him was a mirror showing him some truth that he had to accept.

In those mirrors....

It wasn't the future.

It wasn't even the present or anything.

It was outcome of the lives of those he loved.

A piece of his life... or rather, the corpses of the lives he had already correct.

One by one, scenes he thought I can change was giving one result in every timeline.

Death.....Death....And death...

He saw them... 

His mother, his father, his butler, and his butler nephew, Elwin and all of those he loved, dying...

But what was different was, they were able to live for two months or one year not much more then that..

Smiling, laughing, living months longer than they had in the timeline he is from.

For a moment, the sight twisted something warm in his chest.

But the warmth froze instantly.

Mother... found drowned in river, the rope burns still fresh on her wrist.

Those mirror were showing every possible timeline...

There was not only one mirror of timeline but many...

In some his mother died because of car accident.

In some, died because of heart attack..

In some timelines, she died because of shin's father..

Kidnapper said" Hey bastard, Kill your wife now if you really want to save your son"

Shin dad whispered "I can't..... I can"t kill her, i love her more than anything"

Shin mother said" Please, I beg you kill me right now and protect our child, please..."

Shin dad said "I can't.. I don't want you to die"

in Shin's father's hand there was knife which he could not force into his wife..

Suddenly, Shin mother ran toward shin father and placed her stomatch against the knife.

Shin father hands frozen...

Shin mother eyes of a mother and wife who want her family more than anything..

And then shin father realized, now it is too late 

Then she was collapsed on his arms and fall

Her warmth faded in his hand , and his hand would never clean again...

The kidnapper said "You did well and now, your maid turn"

She killed herself before shin father could come back into senses from what happened...

And Like this, she died in many cruel ways across the timelines.

Not only his mother.

All of them.

Each one of them met a cruel end

A maid ready to give her life for his master son while saving him...

Father... shot twice in the chest in some filthy alley, his own debt dragging him there.

The butler... found in pieces after refusing an order from men in suits.

The nephew... hanging by belt in his cell, eyes staring at the ceiling as thought waiting for someone to scold him for giving up.

Elwin... ran from the lab, then lived happy life for one year...

 And died by none other than shin by mistake....

A boy screaming as he tore his world apart to save it.

They were alive in this version for one year... 

Fate had simply been patient.

Kind, almost.

It waited.

It gave them months, one year.

And then took everything back in ways far crueller than before.

And deep inside... 

He understood the meaning of this vision.

If he wanted to save them...

Truly save them...

he couldn't wait for fate to knock.

he would have to cut the threads himself.

End lives... to preserve them.

Kill now... so that they would never reach that moment of suffering.

He felt his own lips curl into something that wasn't quite a smile. 

Then a rudiculous smile arrived.

Shin whispered "...So, this is the truth? To fix a broken timeline... you have to break it worse"

Behind the glass, their faces kept laughing, kept smiling...

Unaware of the cruel fate waiting for them.

And then his hand rose... not to touch the mirror, but to decide.

Suddenly, a decision settled inside him

He decided to free his loved one's from meeting the cruel fate..

Instead of that he would give them a peaceful end

A gentle end… before a cruel one.

(.....) Said "Oops… looks like I won’t be able to live with you after all, I was hoping to stay by your side…but I guess not

So promise me find someone… and be happy…"
