Book Three: Chapter Five: Aoi's Secret Revealed and Serendipity

Last time, Aoi encountered his father, Tatsui Ito. Coming to find out, he was adopted and separated from his sisters for sixteen years. Then the girl from those times appears to stop this man. How did you appear here? Man asked. Tempus Magic. Kagami replied. A cursed maiden who will never die. Man replied. You are right, see I have to apprehend you guys. Kagami replied. A gravitational pull started to appear. The man fell to his knees. Izo attacked Kagami. Hey, you need to watch it out! Aoi yelled. Aoi calm down. I said. That girl is reckless. Aoi replied. Kagami turned around. Hey, you should never put your hands on me, asking for a death wish? Kagami asked. I am glad I activated my spell; everyone with some exceptions would only survive. Kagami replied. A cerulean multilayered spell circle appears in the moonlit sky and on the ground. She's Merlin of Acedia. Izu replied. Out of all people, did they choose her to come here? Izu thought. The guy negated her magic. He started to strangle her. A cyan multilayered circle appeared in the sky. Rain down your wrath! Odin's Rampage! Kagami yells. Izu looked up and released her. As the swords appeared, she directed them in the direction of the criminals. She bound them with her magic. I have never seen magical attacks combined like that. She cut the portal open. Get up and you all are going to your cells. Kagami asked. Thanks Kagami, I know you wanted to lays out at home. Bellerose replied. How dare you, I would never call you out in front of other, Belle? Kagami replied. Thank you, Yoshida. I wish you had stayed with us. Zyrie replied. Did she say Yoshida? I thought. The portal is closed. Kagami rolled her eyes. Girl bye. Kagami mumbled. Aoi asked her a question.

So, you are in contract with a God? Aoi asked. Kagami rolls her eyes and sighs. Do you understand the consequences of doing such a thing? Aoi asked. I do, I have contracts with Gods, Devils and Fallen Angels. Kagami replied. I know all about your contracts. You are known for having one with a Devil King. The Demon King, Asmodeus of Luxuria. Kagami replied.

After Kagami said that Tatsui became shocked by hearing this. Everyone was shocked and started whispering. Kagami snapped her fingers. I looked at Aoi and he started to look dizzy. Aoi, are you alright? I asked. Don't worry about me. Aoi replied. Why does it have to happen now? Aoi thought. He began to fumble and I caught him. I hate this curse. I am so sorry dad, I had to force "that" upon you. Kagami thought. What good is going to come out of tonight? Aoi thought. Do you want me to drive home? I asked. Yeah, can you do that for me. Aoi replied. His foster parents looked at him. He has never come out to this dinner in six years. Gray replied. A woman walked over talking. It's the night of forbidden desires and temptations. He just has been suppressing it all these years. Luxurian men on the other hand are known as Incubus. Himeji replied. She snickered.

As the lady said, it stuck in my mind. The woman vanished soon after. Aube gave her a speech. Two hours have passed and the Gala was over. We left and as I was driving, I felt compelled to be near him. As we came to my house, I let him in.

Little did I expect, Aoi nearly lost all respect from me that night. I wondered if I should have forgiven him? His company tonight brought me so much serendipity.
