Book Three: Chapter Fifteen: Aoi's Peace and my half-hearted abstinence?

Last time, the girls came back from drinking and Kaoru went to take a shower and see Aoi. As things are going, it seems like our hard-hearted heroine is opening up?

As I grabbed my food, I came back into the room and sat next to him. We were sitting at a little table on the floor. My phone vibrated. I could hear it but not see it. I looked it was on his right side. He looked over. I just ignored. I can tell you want to see what Ally wanted. Aoi replied. I grabbed my phone and looked down and saw the text.
Poppy: So how does it feel to be in the presence of Prince Charming?
It's actually Poppy. I replied. Poppy, are you guys childhood or just good friends? Aoi asked. Yeah, Ally and I are the first non royalty she ever met. Back then, Ally was an aide that was put on missions to heal Ren and I. She really didn't specialize until after they put her through that hellish, so called *training mission. I replied. I did not realize squeezed my chopsticks causing them to break. So I was right. Ally was really never a soldier to begin with. Aoi replied. It's not that. After that "mission" so many things happened to her. Those things changed her into the person you guys know. I replied. I see you broke your chopsticks. Aoi replied. I didn't realize. So many things have happened around all us. I replied. Aoi hands me more chopsticks. You are right. Aoi replied. As we ate, we felt like we were reminiscing about the past.
As we talked, Aoi thought about the first day he met a girl with long jet black hair with a hime haircut. She walked over to him. Why are you angry, Haru? Megumi asked. Are you ok? I asked. Haru turned around and adverted his eyes my way. He had a dumbfounded look on his face. Hi my name is Kaoru Koto. I replied. My name is Haru Ito. Aoi replied. Nice to meet you, Haru. I replied. My smile made his angry expression dissolve. Ally texted me.

Ally: I hear laughs. Aoi is laughing? What are you doing to him?

Me: Nothing, tbh I feel this is good we chose this place. He is at such ease.

Ally: Ease?

Me: Ally don't come to your conclusions. Smh uhhh 🤦🏽‍♀️

Rumiko: Kaoru ignore Ally, Aoi just likes your company. He doesn't really trust many people as from knowing him so far.

Me: If you say so, Rumiko.

As Rumiko texted me Aoi's phone vibrated.

Katsu: Talk to her, Aoi.

Aoi: I don't know why I just can't tell her.

Tomoe: You have something holding you back?

Aoi thought about the night of the *gala. He looked me in the eyes. I looked at him and smiled. As his face was getting closer, I got a text from Yukimoto. I blushed.

Yumibear: Hun, when you and Prince Charming get back to HQ, you have work waiting for you.

Me: What?

Yumibear: You have a bodyguard gig for the Ito family.

I looked a little shocked at the client. Aoi looked at me wondering what's with my expression?
Aoi he looks so happy and relaxed. I don't want to see him engulfed in rage as the night of the gala. I thought.
As the day went by, all I could think about that smile dissolving into hatred. Hatred doesn't fit his handsome smile he has. I thought.

Little did I expect, he found out on his own about this gig. He was engulfed in his hatred again.
