Running Away

“Hi, did you miss me?” The figure says.

“No, considering I read the last chapter. Also, where is my free chicken!?!” you say.

“Ummmmm……”

“You don’t have it, do you?”

“Maybe not. I lied! I lied!”

“Why did you---”

“Back to the chapter!”

I ran to the abandoned house to hide from the aliens.

“That’s dumb! I mean…”

I put Clare down and tried to wake her up again.

“Clare, Clare!” I shouted. My heart stopped, what if she is…. NO! I wouldn’t believe it.

“Please?” I said.

So sad *sniff*

I carried her out while the aliens were distracted. I ran 3 miles. Up hills and down hills. I reached a train platform. I heard a train whistle as I saw the train coming.

“Sir! Sir!” I yelled as the train stopped. There was a British man with black hair and black eyes.

“Hello, lad. 10 dollars to ride. Ye got the money?”

“Yea,” I said, taking ten dollars out of my pocket.

“You may enter.”

I sat down, laying Clare down on a nearby seat.
