Chapter 26:

bonus chapter teacher apprecaition

as she pleases of black magic and revenge

Vicky Blackwood glided upstairs into Room 12 like a storm cloud dressed in silk. Her leather skirt hugged curves that no teacher should flaunt, heeled boots clicking judgment on linoleum. Raven hair cascading perfect, eyes sharp as raven talons with her wayfarer glasses perched. The class of seniors straightened spines. No one would darebreathed wrong around Miss Blackwood or kin.

'Sit, darlings,' she purred, voice posh velvet over steel. 'Today, we dissect romance in gothic lit. Not the drivel you scribble on your little phones, but real passion. From my favorite, The Shadow Queen by E. L. Voss. Chapter seven, the library seduction.'

Pens scratched. No one dared yawn.

Theo Blackwood lounged back row, arms crossed, dark hair falling rogue. Her son, senior, Occult Club member. Face carved marble, eyes matching mother's ice. Classmates shot glances - Theo was off-limits, like his sister twin sister luna.

Vicky opened book. 'Listen. \"She tilted his chin with trembling fingers, her breath ghost on his skin. Then, bold as sin, her knee slipped between his thighs, pressing close, claiming what words dared not.\" Tension, darlings. Raw. Who can tell me why?'

Silence. Front row kid, Jamie, squeaked, 'Um, power dynamic?'

Vicky's lip curled. 'Adequate, Jamie. But verily pedestrian. We show. Theo.'

Groans stifled. Theo sighed, rose smooth. Towered six-two, shoulders broad from coven training. Class froze. Annoy Theo? Occult Club hexes whispered.

'Mother,' Theo drawled, 'must I?'

'Yes, darling. Front and center. Educate the plebeians.' She stated in a cold tone.

Theo stepped to her desk. Vicky circled, heels boots predator click. Class eyes wide, phones hidden. No one filmed Miss Blackwood's moods.

She set book aside. 'Observe.' Hand slid under Theo's chin, fingers cool steel. Lifted his face to hers. Inches apart. Breath mingled. 'The tilt,' she murmured, voice husky demo. 'Intimate. Vulnerable.'

Theo held still, jaw set. Eyes locked hers, unblinking.

Vicky's knee nudged. Slid between his thighs. Pressed deliberate.leather Fabric rustle loud in hush. Theo tensed, hands fisted sides. Heat rose.

Class gasped. Girls clutched desks especially out of envy but unfortunately forever unreachable especially considering the covens reclusiveness and their equal ruthlessness too. Boys pale. 'Holy -' one whispered, cut off by glare.

'Feel it?' Vicky purred, leg firmer. 'Seduction's edge. Tease. Control. The queen claims her shadow.'

Theo's voice low, dry. 'Mother, the class is about to combust.' He says jokingly to his mother.

Vicky laughed silk cut. 'Let them burn, darling. (She then playfully pats Theos back leaving a cold touch that shivers others but would warm any coven member) Art requires sacrifice.'

She stepped back, knee withdraw slow. Theo exhaled controlled. Class exhaled too. Some their dropped pens.

'Questions?' Vicky arched brow.

Dead silence out of fear.

'Pathetic. Dismissed. Except Occult Club. Stay.' She says in a cold stern tone.

Class bolted. Door slam echo.

Theo rubbed jaw. 'Was that necessary?' That felt pretty intense but i think it was worth it wouldn't you agree.

'Entirely. They learned.'

Luna slipped front row, Just as the brooding counterpart to Theo's dark. Calculating smile. 'Or fainted. Nice knee, Mum.'

Vicky smirked. 'Jealous, pet? (She piercely gives an intense look to the kids) Your turn comes now.' She then does the same to Luna and Luna is flushing incredibly red like a tomato and Theo laughs quitely hand covering his mouth she then leans in for a kiss and Luna smirks happily obliging and they both had a good laugh from it.

The Surprise Tea Ambush

Club gathered: ten shadows, pale goth kids, occult tattoos peeking collars. Table dragged center, draped black lace. Teapot steamed, scones silver tray. Candles flickered sigils.

Vicky paused while her hand is on the door as she opens the dark lowly illuminated by candle room. 'What fresh hell?'

Luna bowed mock. 'Tea, Missus Blackwood. Appreciation Week. From Society of Shadows.'

Vicky's eyes narrowed. 'Planned behind my back? Bold i must say.'

Theo poured Earl Grey. 'Sit, Mother. Or shall we call it insubordination?'

She swept seat, skirt perfect. She then grabs Theo playfully 'Insubordination? Darling, you'd need spine first.'

Laughter ripple. Kid Silas, club treasurer, offered scone. 'For our best teacher. Even if you scare us witless.'

Vicky nibbled Luna’s ear as she teasingly squeezes her for her back hug. 'Flattery? Amateur. But the Darjeeling's decent. (She then drinks her Darjeeling tea) Proceed.

Luna leaned. 'The demo you make anytime you recreate a scene always gets the heart racing. Inspired by yours truly you mother dearest'

'Literature demands immersion. Unlike your half-baked spells.'

Theo smirked. 'Class thought you'd kiss me'

'Jealousy ill suits you, Theo. Though the thought tempts me all the time even during school hours in class heheheheheh.'

Blush swept club. Luna quipped, 'Incest taboo or power play?'

Vicky's laugh sharp she holds her hand close to her mouth then adjusts her glasses. 'Taboo's for mortals, dear Luna. We Blackwoods incinerate rules.'

Dialogue flew. Silas: 'Miss B, that leg move - from Shadow Queen?'

'Chapter seven, page 147. Read it.'

Theo: 'She made me read it thrice.'

Vicky: 'Preparation, darling. Unlike your lazy wards.'

Luna: 'Our wards held last full moon.'

Vicky: 'Barely. Tea's cold. Penalty: recast.'

Club scrambled. Candles relit, chants low. Vicky watched, scone poised. 'Faster. Sloppy invites demons.'

Theo: 'Or surprise parties.'

Vicky froze. 'This is the surprise?'

Luna grinned. 'Appreciation. You teach us shadows.'

Vicky set cup. Haughty mask cracked fond. 'Sentimental fools. Planning under my nose?'

Theo: 'Calculated risk i assure you but well worth it.'

She rose, book snatched. 'Utterly predictable. Insolent shadows!' Book pelted Theo light, bounced Luna.

Club gasped laugh.

Vicky pulled them close. Kiss Theo and luna’s forehead. 'Fool boy.' Luna next. 'My calculating princess of shadows.'

'Thank you,' haughty whisper. 'Don't expect repeats.'

Club chuckled at seeing Vicky getting to be herself in her natural enviroment outside of the classroom. Shadows embraced as Vicky enjoys the company of her kids and shadows.
