Chapter 15.5 — The League’s Reach

Lily the Fierce Flower

In a quiet office deep within the League headquarters—

“The League continues to grow,” Clem said, reviewing the data in front of him.

“And faster than expected,” Cory replied. “It does what it was meant to—for the fighters and for the fans. People are drawn to it. Dreams, ambition… hope.”

Clem nodded.

“We’re seeing more rising talent than ever. Rose Bloomfield—The Fiery Flowerstorm. Lilith Ironwood—The Fierce Flower. Catalina Reyes—The Savage Cacti.”

He paused, then added, “Even some of our sponsored fighters are breaking through. Victoria Valen—The Flower Prodigy—has been really impressive.”

“And at the top,” Cory said, “Iris Bloomfield—The Elegant Flowerstorm.”

Clem gave a faint smile. “Not to mention Clara Hart—The Clover Comet. And that’s only naming a few.”

“The League’s being watched now,” Cory said quietly. “Globally.”

Clem leaned back with a slow breath. “The next championship tournament will be our biggest yet.”

“With this many capable fighters,” Cory said, “it won’t be easy.”

“That’s what makes it exciting,” Clem replied. “Why the League works. We didn’t just build a sport—we built a place where talent can grow. A stage where fighters can be seen.”

Cory nodded. “There’s a lot of potential out there.”

Clem’s smirk returned, subtly but certain.

“The League is changing,” he said. “This season is going to be interesting.”
