Alert.

"hah!" Ryuji bellowed as he ran across the ground, his sword raised as he pointed it towards the vox's. 

The blue streak sliced through the vox's before they could hit him with there flames from there mouths, meanwhile shoko using her chain whip wrapped around one of its necks and using its body bashed into a lot of the others, meanwhile Elena created manifested hundreds of Ice Spears in the air and shot it out at the rest of vox's as fast as possible....

Meanwhile Lana was forced to use her sword, she couldn't help but be a little frustrated, after all she loved her using her flames. "Damn it! Why couldn't we have faught those slimes!"

She stabbed one of there necks.

Ryuji punched one in its jaw and it wimperd and fell, he turned his head back at her and gave her an annoyed look. "We should be grateful, after all none of us have poisoned weapons and the only one who has most experience using fire commands is you, the rest of us would be at really great risk!" A vox growled and lept for him, its jaw wide open, with split second timing he sliced its head clean off, So fast it looked like a blur.

He let out a sigh.  "I may have speed, but other then you and me the whole party is at risk, one touch and that's it."

Lana let out a sigh of her own. 

"Fine."

With that she ran forward and charged at two of them. 

Meanwhile, Lisa was shooting bolts of lightning at as many of the vox's as she could, while also keeping an eye on Jack. yes, Jack had proven twice that he had the ability to handle himself against monsters, but still. 

She couldn't help but be pretty protective of him.

Meanwhile, Jack was determined but cautious to slay monster's himself, and protect Lisa as well...

If he could slay these monsters he knew this would be the first step to becoming a good hunter, yes he has defeated a goblin lord, and literal Demons. But, he still had doubts that he could make it as a hunter, you still have a ways to go. 

He glanced at Lisa, then ryuji, they both seamed so...

Calm, stoic, like this was a walk in the park for them, he wondered. 'could I ever be like that?'

Before he had a chance to ponder that, one of them breathed a fire attack straight from there mouths towards his head, suddenly before it could touch him, his seal glowed and energy flowed all over his body and then, he dudged the flame.

His body had moved on its own...

'thank God... littlerly'

The flaming fox moved the fan of fire towards him, he quickly jumped over it, he ran towards the fox, it jumped up and swiped at him, it clawed his chest. "Ack!"

The pain was like being stabbed with a knife that's had a blow torch on it for a few minutes, it stung, bad, but He didn't let the pain stop him, he stabbed it, one, two, three times!

Then, it was dead.

It's blood was orange and hot, like lava except not hot enough to melt whatever it touched. 

Ryuji killed the last one and...

It was over. 

Lisa breathe heavy for a moment, then looked over at Jack's clawed chest, she instinctively rushed to him to see how he was. "Jack, are you ok?"

She wanted to touch his chest to see if he had cuts, but she remembered the last time she wanted to do that she nearly got burned, and sure enough white flames appeared and healed his wound and dissipated just as quickly as they came, he looked up at her and gave her a thumbs up. She let out a sigh of relief.

Then After a few seconds Lisa spoke up. "Was that the last of them?"

Ryuji looked around, he checked his gauntlet for more heat signatures.

"Yep, that's it... At least this far into the mines, I think the mines are gonna be fine down this way." He gave them all a big grin. "Job well done team!... Wait, where's Yoko?" 

Suddenly as if on cue... She spoke up. 

"Ryuji! Guy's! Come over hear, there's something you need to see!"

And so the group walked to where the girl was standing, behind a certain wall of the cavern, and there, on a path leading towards the next cavern, there was a cave-in.

"What?... How... When?"

They all looked at it.  

Trying to figure out when this happened. "Well... At least there was miners down this way right? It wasn't cleared until now." Jack sed looking up at the massive columns that block the way to the next cavern. 

"Actually it was cleared already last night." Sed ryuji. 

"What?" 

Ryuji spoke calmly. 

"The vox's... They reproduce vary vary fast, infact a pregnancy usually lasts about three hour's. Five if it's a late pregnancy."

"Oh my God! really?... We had to have killed at least thirty of them, maybe fifty! How much... Um... 'You know what' do that have?"

Shoko spoke up, a raised eyebrow.

"A lot."

She sed no more. 

"We make sure to keep at least a few alive to make sure that slimes are kept in check not just by us, we usually force them to go far away from the mining grounds first, but they always come back." Lisa sed turning to Jack. 

Yoko stepped back, a look of worry on her face. "Ryuji kun... What if... What if there's some miner's who are trapped behind that?"

There was a pause. 

"Maybe... We should get some more Hunter's to help us-"

Then, Jack heard HIM. 

"There's not enough time..." The still small voice spoke. 

"There is miners down behind the wreckage, and truly, truly I tell you if you do not go to them now, they will suffer a gruesome fate."

Jack spoke up. "Guys, I have a feeling we need to go behind this cave in now."

He looked at them all. "Call me crazy but, I have a feeling there are miners in there, and there in real danger... There's not enough time to go and get more guys... "

Lisa looked at Jack, she recognized that look on his face, it was the same look he had when he told her about how God had told him where Nikolai was. 

"Guys, I agree... " She stood by him and turned towards them all, there back's facing the wreckage. 

"Jack... HE told you huh?" She whispered. 

He looked at her, hesitated. But then nodded. Lisa looked back at ryuji. "Come on ryuji, sense when were you the type to rely on other hunters besides your friends?"

She looked back at the crumbled Arch blocking the path to whatever was waiting in the next cavern. "I say we go and do this ourselves, and don't you dare say your not strong enough to remove this all by yourself, I've seen you strangle a dragon to death." 

She gave him a slight grin looking back. 

Ryuji looked at Jack, and then Lisa. Then he grinned. "Your right! Hehehe!"

He stepped over to the broken arches. "I think I was just messing with you guys!" 

He then told them to stand back, the all backed up collectively and then, his entire arm glowed with blue and green energy, then with one punch and a delayed explosion that lasted for about two seconds the wreckage was cleared...

"There! Now let's go guys!"
