Abandoned by My Own Father II - The Wilderness

As my father held me on his arm as he stepped out from the driver door, swallowed nervously while staring at the horizontal wilderness around him, enormous twisted trees, thorn vines hanging low on the decaying bark of the trees, his form shivering from the cold air as he felt the back of his neck, he kept wandering and roaming around despite the danger until he arrived at the nesting area was contains bunch of eggs was belonged to the none other than Tyrannosaurus Rex, I let a whimper but my dad hushed me and whispered.

"Shut up, you little bastard!" he hissed, but I kept whimpering until I let out a sharp cry in agony, seeking warmth and embrace heavy footsteps could be heard in the distance, the mighty Tyrannosaurus Rex might be rushed towards the direction it could sense easily the distressed sound from afar, my father freezed from his track, slowly and cautiously glance behind his shoulder without leaving a warning, he placed my small form wrapped in bundle and fled away for his own sake without looking back, I was left behind in the nest until I felt something hot and rancid breath against my small face, my cries subside as I opened my blurry eyes, I could see the massive head, two pairs of glowing slitted eyes, sharp teeth gleamed in the darkness, I'd realized it was the female T-Rex, sniffing my small form using her snout as she examine my vulnerable form, nose flared, realized she didn't devour me alive, instead—she believe I'm not her threat, she knows I was only need was her warmth and nurture.

She gently lifted my form towards her nest to protect her eggs as a new member would be arise… but then, her husband arrived later, his reptilian eyes fixed at the small form nesting on their nest, narrowed, he growled at my small form, baring his sharp teeth. "Grrr…" but his wife shot him a warning glare, a sign I wasn't their threat, but her husband let out a low grumble in defeat and moved away to find food for their survival, I let a whimper as the female reptile nudging my small form despite her massive and aggressive form that could easily to crash and snapped her jaws around the prey, instead she cooed softly, letting me rest between her scales and the eggs, I was officially a new member of her bloodline… And the future queen of the Apex Predator; ruling the forest no matter what challenge I may face in the future.

"Honey, I'm home!" The husband arrived at home with holding a bunch of grocery bags, her wife came but she was definitely not happy, she was sobbing her midwife trying to comfort her she already knew her beloved daughter was gone from her arms, leaving only emptiness inside of her heart, her husband stepped forward, playing his hand against hers, leaned close against her face but she eventually pushed him away and slapped directly on his face, she was now mad and can't handle her emotions any longer because of losing a child is the most hurtful thing she experienced right now than a heartbroken.

"You… How dare you to threw my child away at the woods?! How could you…!" she sobbed, her eyes are red from tears, but her husband just rubbing the side of his cheek and there was no showing empathy on his expression. She added. "What if she was eaten alive?! Or… h-her organs and tissues tear apart…" she stammered, her heart ache in pain as she can't stop crying. Her husband respond back.

"Honey, she was just a pathetic child, we can make another one okay—" 

"I'm not okay about this! I don't care what you say, I wanted to raise her, she was my first daughter and I will find her no matter what!"

"But she was already dead! She was eaten alive by the T-Rex! There's no way to save her, it's too late now!" He announced, but her wife fight back. "You just choosing your own pride over my daughter, you were just a selfish husband I've ever married, I-I though I picked the right person I wanted to live in the future… I'm wrong, I made a mistake I picked the wrong person." she sniffle, lifted her gaze to face him. "Maybe I shouldn't marrying you because you just prioritizing yourself rather than your daughter and…m-me!" her husband just started at her blankly, he clenched his fist in frustration and spun around heading towards the up stairs, he doesn't want to have a conversation right now, but her wife added. "Hey! Where do you think you're going?! I'm not done yet—! Hey! Talk to me right now or I'll put your damn marriage ring into fire!" she called out in aggravation followed after him but felt something on her wrist as one of his guards grabbed her, prevent her from following. "Miss Yua, he needs a time to talk to you, please—"

"For what?! He left my daughter behind the wilderness while I was crying for grief! I lost my daughter and this is my fault for taking her away… this is my own fault!" 

"Miss Yua, you don't need to blame yourself, please…"

"Please?! Please, what do you mean?! This is my fault!" she blubbered, eyes began watery from tears.

"No, I know you failed to protect her, it was his fault for abandoned his own daughter because he wanted a son, he believe girls are weak and pathetic. But don't worry, we will find her no matter what." he consoled.

"I can't believe he did this to my daughter, I will find my daughter over my dead body as her mother. And make sure he regret for his actions." she paused. "She never met her mother who almost raised her as my own and she…" she wept softly, feeling heartbroken over the losing her daughter. The guard patting her back trying to soothe her hearted wounds as she cupped her face, promptly bursting into tears hiding on her hands, she promised to find her daughter no matter how hard the reality is, she may find her in the future.
