The Child of Wild II - The Mother's Concern

The moonlight reflects the morning sunlight inside the Naoryuu Residence, Yua Naoryuu arranging the bed with careful move, preparing to sleep, she was now five month pregnant, but her thoughts plaguing about her daughter; Kyou, she spent herself asked several neighborhoods and guards to locate her and assist her path since earlier, but unfortunately there's no new information about her daughter's body in case neither she was dead or alive in the woods, tears flowing continuously, she kept restless during pregnancy as her husband told her to rest with their undeveloped child on her womb, while he was gone for work, her hands clutching the fabric of her pajama, but then one of his guards approach the room, gently tapping the door. 

"Miss Yua, can I come in?" he asked politely. 

"Yes, I'm coming." she responded, mopping up tears away with the heel of her hand before she rose from her feet as she advance herself at the door, placing her hand on the doorknob before she unlock it. She could see him standing at the door frame, her eyes landed on his hand, clutching something precious, then she asked eagerly. 

"Have you seen my d-daughter? Is there something a news? Or what?! I-Is she dead—?!" she lamented, tears began to flowing without warning, both of her hands clasps on her chest hoping and waiting for his respond. But he shook his head, there's still no news about her daughter but he saw a abandoned and torn fabric of the bundle was neither belonged to her daughter. She mumbled under her breath as her hand flew on her mouth. "What's this…? H-how did you find it…?" 

"Miss Yua, I saw this on the deeper forest known as the wilderness, it was a bundle… of your daughter, I found the box was abandoned, but…" he paused, swallowed nervously before he proceed his words. 

"…But unfortunately, there's no sign of your daughter's presence… I ask the police officer to keep investigate, but he told me… y-your daughter was eaten alive by the T-Rex." he announced, lowering his gaze in the floor, her eyes widened in disbelief and horror, tears flowing continuously, her daughter was gone, forever… 

"I can't believe my daughter was gone!" she bawled, held her head on her hands, muffling her whimper. The guard watching her silently in sympathy, he draw near her  placing his hand on her back trying to comfort her while he can hear her cries through her hands, felt guilt and empathy her pain when the mother losing her child from neglect, feeling her heart was broken in agony, he rubbed her back in slow circle.

"I'm sorry for your lost, miss Yua… maybe your daughter was now resting in safe place without feeling the pain anymore…" he responded, mourned her daughter's death, beside he promised to her to still locate her, might be she was still alive and hunt the T-Rex who killed her child to find the truth and deserve justice, little didn't they realized her daughter was alive, growing in each day, more stronger than they thought living with her adopted parents, safe and nourished without harming her.

The city was loud as usual, people doing their daily routine and jobs, vehicles blurring across the horizontal, childrens laughing and playing in the playground, strays mewling and barking in the dark alley. 

The world seemed normal, but for General Naoryuu; it's definitely normal without nothing, forgetting his reckless action by throwing his own child in the forest, where apex predator live, moving, eating against their own kin. 

He minding his own business by nothing, but corruption and he was planning to cut some trees from that island to be able to construct his new business to attract viewers and customers to buy his products. His phone buzzing, he grumble in frustration; someone interrupting his peace, he eventually grabbed it and placing it on his ear.

"Hello? It's General Naoryuu" he said, asking with his tone lace with calm yet irritated. 

"Oh hey, love! Wanna hang out with us?"

He paused for a moment, nodded. "Of course, love. Why not? I'm leaving before my wife asleep." he smirk, he sprayed his cologne across his suit.

"Oh, darling. I can wait you, just don't wake your wife okay?" 

"I know, I know. We're we meet each other? Wanna date together?" he asked eagerly, while his hand countering the stack of his savings. 

"In the expensive restaurant, I hope their meals was delicious as you."

He hummed. "Uh-huh, not bad, huh? I'll meet you at evening. See you later." 

"Stay safe, honey!" 

The call ended. General Naoryuu smirk in satisfaction, he lowered his phone, placing down on his desk before he proceed his twisted plans, reading some documents and news paper, ignoring the image of his daughter.

Forgotten; for now on.

Yua sat on the bed, staring at the window, hand resting still on her swollen abdomen, eyes swelled from tears, she'd believe her daughter was gone, devoured alive by the T-Rex, but there's something wrong, she still believe herself her daughter was alive, hoping her daughter was arrived safe when she grew older.

Her husband's harsh words kept echoing through her mind, the image of his furious look on his face, slamming his fist against the dinner table, he demanded to clean his entire mansion despite she was already married from years ago, exhausted but she kept praying every night while her husband was busy on his documents.

"Kyou…" she mumbled the name that made herself cry once more, her face bathed in moonlight glow, lowered her gaze on her abdomen, rubbing against the swollen surface in lazy circle, whispered to his unborn child.

"Hey, I hope you grow well, my child. I want to met your sister when you exist, you both can play and fun as a family." she lied, although her daughter's presence was gone eternity, but little didn't she know, her daughter was playing with her new parents from the wild, pleased and taken care safety from the other warmth.
