Murkel’s Secrets

The Fundraiser goes off without a hitch, with no accidents or supervillain incidents whatsoever. However, the Jester Sisters and Lava-Blade’s reign of chaos continues to cause problems for the city regardless. However, the real issue is not with the city and Aurora Star-Flash in general, but with Murkel himself, as he has a secret that no one else, other than his wife knows, Miranda, knows about. Many years ago, Murkel suffered extreme physical abuse at the hands of his drunken and less from his overworked mother when he was a child at 9. This would ultimately lead him to suffer from a serious case of bipolar disorder, when he in turn would develop violent tendencies of his own in retaliation of his Father’s relentless abuse. This would all come to head when he accidentally killed his father when his parents were on the verge of divorcing. Surprisingly, his mother kept quiet about what he did, and allowed herself to take the blame for his actions. This would ultimately cause him to suppress his condition somehow and lead a normal life since then. But with so much going on, he begins to wonder if he can truly continue to hold back his tendencies, even as James is about to pull off a move that will effectively cost him his life……………..or will it?
