meet the bloodbriars
My children stand beside me at a gathering.
Observing outfits.
“Too loud,” Persephone whispers.
“No cohesion,” Hades adds.
“…Correct,” I reply.
We refine my accessories together.
Subtle improvements. Perfect balance.
Beckett stands nearby.
Safe. Untouched.
“…You’re fine,” I tell him.
He nods. Relieved.
