Chapter 1:
The Flower That Made Me Remember You
A woman sat at a table laden with teacups filled with brightly colored liquid and a mix of sweets. A dark red candy in a jar caught the woman’s eye. Looking up from the tea and sweets. Seeing she had just woken up, noticed two people already standing around the table. Pairs of hands reached out towards her.
One pair of hands tilted her chin upward while the other person gripped her body from behind her. The one holding her chin, squeezing her cheeks with a firm grip, forcing her mouth to open from the pain. Using the other hand to force something into her mouth; felt an icy finger push down her tongue to push it down her throat. Tasting a familiar, oddly bittersweet flavor, she linked. Her hand reached out, closing her eyes before she looked at him.
Sees only a twisted smile as they released her. Feeling dizzy, seeming to be in a dark, empty place, much like the landscape of her own mind. The two people were there, both offering her their hands. Taking them, she hears their laughter. Waking up, her eyes blinked, trying to focus through the blur.
The image of the tea party faded slowly from her mind. Her eyes couldn’t see all the color in this place she didn't remember. The grass lying beneath her, near a pond, carried a sweet scent from nearby blue flowers. A house, seeming to reflect all her wishes, stood beside a pond with flowers. Looking at herself shown on the water, there were petals on top making ripples.
Seeing that she had short white hair and her skin and clothes she wore were white. Her eyes were pink but covered, even though she could still see through them, but without color. It was as if her past desire to see the outside world had shown as colorful fish swimming on the wall, brightened by a light that wasn't there, shining like a shadow. The blue flower brought back memories of someone and their first meeting. Turned a corner, bumped into him, and fell.
