Chapter 11:

Chapter: The Simps’ Spectacular Recovery Fail

more of the life of the bloodbriars in sidestory stuff

A week after the chaos at the gaming store, the simps of the ditzy girl were desperately attempting to “rebuild their lives.”

Kevin, Tom, and Jared had convened in a sad little coffee shop, each nursing the humiliation of public bankruptcy, failed investments, and broken relationships.

“This is it,” Kevin said, twiddling his fingers. “We can fix everything if we just… follow her advice… again.”

Tom groaned. “Kevin… she lied to us for months. Literally everything she said was a manipulation. You’re insane if you think it’ll work.”

Jared just stared at his empty wallet. “I… maybe if we pool our resources?”

They didn’t notice the dark silhouettes observing them from the shadows across the street.

The Watchers

Beckett leaned against a lamppost, gloved fingers brushing his mask. Malcolm, younger and equally amused, sat on the curb nearby, flipping through a small notebook of “chaos results.”

Peresphone and Hades peeked from behind a parked car.

“…I think this is better than any game we’ve played,” Hades whispered.
Peresphone nodded. “Every move they make is… predictable, and yet, hilarious.”

Diana arrived in her usual commanding presence, sheer black blouse, leather skirt, spider-web earrings swinging slightly, high-heeled boots clicking on the pavement. She leaned next to Beckett.

“…This is my favorite part of chaos,” she murmured. Beckett’s hand brushed hers lightly. “My prince,” she added softly, a smirk tugging at her lips.

The Simps’ First Mistake

Kevin tried to organize a fundraiser for their “reputation recovery,” tweeting loudly about “honest effort and second chances.”

Malcolm whispered to Beckett, “…Do you hear that? Someone just summoned disaster voluntarily.”
Beckett’s gloved fingers tapped his scarf. “…Perfect.”

Within minutes, Jared accidentally exposed all their previous misdeeds in a desperate attempt to show transparency. Tom posted an emotional apology… on a forum filled with people who had already mocked them mercilessly.

The twins snickered, darting out to place tiny prank notes:

A “helpful” reminder about their past manipulations

Small hints that each of them was betraying the others

Little sticky notes warning, “Trust is earned, not bought.”

By the time they realized the traps, chaos was already spiraling again.

Diana and Beckett Enjoy the Show

Diana leaned into Beckett’s side, eyes glittering with amusement. “I swear, this never gets old.”
Beckett adjusted his mask, voice low: “…It’s almost too easy.”

Peresphone whispered, “They’re fighting already.”
Hades added, “And we didn’t even touch them yet.”

The twins’ mischievous interventions were subtle but effective:

Kevin accused Tom of sabotaging the fundraiser.

Jared convinced Kevin he had mismanaged donations.

Tom posted a heartfelt apology video… that accidentally revealed all three were complicit in past scams.

By mid-afternoon, the trio had achieved peak self-destruction: bankruptcies formalized, social media accounts banned, and their collective pride crushed.

Terry and Damien React

Meanwhile, Terry observed from the sidelines at a nearby cafe, sipping her coffee.

“Look at that,” she whispered to Damien. “I haven’t seen such beautiful chaos in years. And all thanks to Diana and Beckett.”

Damien nodded, smiling faintly. “…The twins are diabolical. And those two? Completely untouchable. The simps’ lives are perfectly ruined without anyone touching them directly.”

The Final PDA Moment

As the simps fled the scene, realizing they were utterly undone, Diana tugged Beckett by the scarf again, pulling him close.

“My tall dark handsome prince,” she murmured, leaning in. “…I think our family is the only group capable of handling this level of incompetence.”

Beckett’s gloved hand brushed hers lightly. “…Mistress,” he replied quietly, voice muffled beneath the mask.

The twins snickered and high-fived each other. “Parents are ridiculous,” Peresphone whispered.
“Exactly,” Hades said. “And we love it.”

Malcolm, shaking his head, muttered: “I swear, I will never understand how normal humans survive this family.”

Diana grinned, leaning against Beckett, hair falling slightly over her spider-web earrings. “Normal is overrated.”

And with that, the simps’ spectacular recovery attempt had failed—once again proving the perfection of shadow manipulation, family dominance, and strategic chaos.
