On a certain sullen and ominous corner of the cafeteria, two people were staring at each other.

After staring for a minute which almost felt like a decade, the boy stood and demanded, "What did you want to talk about, Lisha? And why should I believe you?"

The girl on the contrary responded, "I will just say what I know, it is up to you to believe it or not."

Regi listening to the girl's words advanced, "Then speak, I don't have all day for this."

Lisha illuminated, "That day. It was your friend Otsuka who told Wera to visit the bridge. I just know it because Wera told me that she was informed by Otsuka to meet Hazza at the bridge. That's it, I thought I might say you about this."

Saying this, Lisha stood up and walked out of the cafeteria dropping a bomb at Regi. Regi felt like he was betrayed, he was feeling confused as to why Otsuka would tell his sister to go to the bridge.

At his home, Otsuka was lying on his bed thinking about what happened on that day making all of his friends' transfer and Regi so rude towards him. He was wondering what happened to Wera to be hospitalised for a month, he was not informed that the reason Wera was in that state for a month was because of him informing her.

He thought, "Did Hazza and Wera had an accident?"

As he was lost in his thoughts, he received a notification.

Lisha responded denying,

Suka was in disbelief, he was so naive that he was thinking Lisha was his girlfriend. He was friend-zoned the whole time. Overcoming his naive thoughts, he replied,

Lisha responded,

Reading those words, Lisha sent,

Seeing those words made Otsuka's naive and weak heart shatter into pieces. He realized his naivety and the truth of this ugly world.

He slept that night whimpering hoping that someone would soothe him but he was too naive to think that anyone would.

In the morning, the other day Otsuka got up and readied himself up for his school like usual.

He was done with his naivety and his whimpering for ungrateful people. He decided to change, better himself and no longer let other people judge or decide anything about him.

As usual, he walked his way to his school. On his way, he saw Regi walking towards him furiously.

Confused as to why, Otsuka stopped walking and decided to greet his friend. But Regi wasn't thinking of friendly greetings, he came towards Otsuka and held his collar asking,

"Hey, assh*le! I wanna talk to you about something, answer my questions."

Otsuka gasped at the sudden action replied, "What happened, Regi? Let me go and what are you talking about. Let's go to the cafeteria and have a talk."

Regi disagreeing responded, "No need, just follow me."

The both of them went to an alley where they stopped, Regi asked, "Were you the one who told Wera to visit Hazza that day?"

Otsuka remembering the day positively replied, "Ah yes, now that I remember wha-"

Before he could complete his words,

𝙁𝙬𝙤𝙤𝙨𝙝!--

a wind-cutting punch landing on his abdomen making him cough some of his breakfast. Regi punched him four times before he could ask anything, making him throw up all of his breakfast.

Regi started mercilessly thwacking him, making his face swollen like a boiled potato. Amongst his beating, Suka muttered, "Re- Regi, what happened? Why are you beating me?"

Regi ignoring his victim's queries continued to provide him with jabs and punches making him unconscious at last.

After seeing that his victim could no longer bear his beatings, he left the indigent boy unconscious in the alley.

A long time had passed since the unfair one-sided fight, the boy was awakened by some people walking by the street.

The boy was sent to the school clinic by some passersby, even though he was not injured severely he had gotten weak after getting punched continuously.

The boy reported that the assailant was unknown and he couldn't see their face hiding the fact that it was his own friend. After getting informed about her son's condition, Miss Sophia rushed to the hospital. She saw her child lying on the bed like a malnutritioned lost puppy, she couldn't bring herself to see her child in that condition and vowed,

"Suka, my dear. What happened? Are you feeling okay now? Who was it, was it someone from your school? Did you see his face?"

Seeing the concerned face of her mother, Suka replied,

"It's nothing momma, we fight like this daily. It's for training purposes, it's just that I tripped today. Don't worry, it's nothing serious."

The mother could see through her child's lies but could feel that he didn't want her to worry so she let go of the matter and said,

"Are you sure, son? Will you be okay? Let's go home, I will make you some of your favourite food."

The boy let out a sigh that her mother was no more interested in knowing the identity of the assailant, he responded energetically,

"Yeah, momma! I am totally okay, I am strong you know. Let's go home, I wanna eat a ton of food today with you and Luci."

The both of them returned home that day and had a hearty family meal together.

Due to the weakness of the injuries he received from Regi, Otsuka didn't show up to school the day after.

The day after his recovery, Otsuka woke up and readied himself as usual for his school. On the way out, his mother yelled,

"Suka no more fights now. Don't tell me that it was for training either. Be careful on your way and contact me if you get in trouble, you understand?"

Otsuka comforted his mother, "Yeah mom, don't worry."

After that, he left his home and was on his way to the school, when he encountered a bunch of three students coming towards him. He didn't give any attention to them and continued walking. Suddenly, a flabby boy who had curly and scruffed black hair stopped Suka on his way.

Suka didn't give any attention this time either and walked away from the other side.

Seeing Suka evade them, another one who looked like a little man with his belly hanging like a bunch of grapes reproached,

"Hey, you! Stop, don't you see us or do you want some sense beaten into you."

Saying this the little guy pulled Otsuka's bag making him stop.

The last one among them who looked unusually taller than his age confronted Suka and said, "Hey, you are Regi's friend right? We are his friends from Albus Military Academy. We got to know the reason why Regi is always so rude and cruel, it's because of you isn't it."

Suka addled responded,

"What?"

The tall one suddenly changing his tone added, "The reason why Regi has become like that is all because of you. Don't you know what happened that day? His sister was rap-"

Before he could complete his words, the flabby looking boy intervened,

"Don't mention it, Enya! He probably knows about it too, he's just acting like he's an innocent."

Suka completely disoriented at what the three were talking about let out,

"What are you guys talking about? What happened to Wer-"

The same fate which occurred the day before yesterday started occurring today as well, all the three boys started beating Otsuka. Otsuka tried his best to defend but it was useless, the boys looked two years older than him and there were three of them. Thinking he couldn't defend himself, he accepted his fate as a punishment for his unbeknownst sin.

He was beaten up until the boys were satisfied but it wasn't bad as the day with Regi because he defended his face and abdomen leaving the three only his back. He knew that if he went to the school clinic, his mother would be informed about it. Hence, he didn't attend school that day and went to a nearby shop to buy some ice packs so that he could soothe himself.

After buying the ice packs, he went to a nearby public park to sit and check his 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒄𝒕𝑩𝒂𝒏𝒅. -[1]

He switched on his 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒄𝒕𝑩𝒂𝒏𝒅 and a blue virtual screen augmented above his wrist.

He went to DIGID to check his old messages when he suddenly noticed something he didn't before.

He opened up a page and was going through the information.

Whimpering those words, he sighed heavily, letting his head drop. Tears welled up in his eyes, a single tear rolled down his eyes like rain on a dusty plane.

Overwhelmed by his emotions, he started laughing. Laughing at himself but his face showed something else.
