Author's Note

Well, this was a new experience. I’m not a comedy writer, but I’m pretty happy with what I spewed out. Originally this story wasn’t meant to breach 30k words, but it ended up quite a bit over and nearing the word limit for this contest… and to think I nearly abandoned it at around 25k. But I’m glad it’s over for the time being. Without constraints it was entirely possible that it would have ended up being far, far longer… closing in on 80 or 90k with the amount of arcs that I could’ve built on I reckon…

Some notes on Names and Pronunciation

The characters in this story and even the locations and objects have all had their names chosen specifically for them. Here is a list of the names, their pronunciation and the meaning behind each one, according to Google. I have adjusted the pronunciations of some names to better suit the character.
