Chapter 1 New Recruit

On certain mornings, when the light rose soft and pale over the horizon, the whole city looked as if it had been dipped in bubble liquid. The streets gleamed, the rooftops glowed, and the enormous dome above shimmered with confidence. Alex paused at his window, watching the reflections across the curved surfaces of the buildings. Everything he saw was made from bubl, the miraculous substance that had remade the planet. It was lighter than a feather, stronger than titanium.

Alex stepped outside the sun's rays shining on the face, humming sounded all around him, cars floating across the magnetised tracks - An invention of Glint. Above him stood the Dome, encircled  the entire country at the centre of the capital stood Glints Headquarters. The building stretched so far into the sky it pierced the Dome and reached the clouds. Alex's Breath clouded as he breathed in and out it was cold, but it was wrong it wasn't cold, just an illusion of the Dome, an illusion that  Glint made. To Alex,  the whole place was fake it had to be it didn't feel real but at the same time, it felt natural at least to Alex it did. He began to continue walking, looking at the Dome, the sky, and the Sun, he felt connected to it all somehow, someway

Alex slipped into an alley where to gleaming walls gave way to old unseen rough natural brick a glimpse of the world before Glint a glimpse of a true a world unaffected by Glint a world fresh untainted but that was already gone all that was left are places like this but what is on the top is not all that is below ant that is what Alex was truly here for he walked up to a hatch knocked in a unique pattern and it swung open “Alex Right?” Alex nervously looked up and responded, “Yea” The man looked at him and signalled him to come down. Alex descended a long hallway lay below the Alley it led to one of the BLD bases. John was the leader one of these many bases. They arrived and the man led him to an office. Clack, it opened. Inside was a man with Blond hair tired eyes he had a serious look on his face as he said, “Alex, right, welcome to BLD Oliver escorted him to the recruit welcoming ceremony

The Room was full with noise old and young filled hall BLD accepted all-BLD standing for Bubl Destruction, Alex heard about from some friends and he had to find out Alex felt strangely connected to everything  he had to know why so he joined BLD to find out to know to understand his best friend joined with him Yusaf Alex searched the hall for him he had to be here then suddenly Yusaf popped out from behind him his black hair blacker than the night and his eyes as white as snow "Looking for me?” he said it in a silly voice although Alex still jumped up like cat“Where did you come from you nearly made me have a heart attack” Yusaf looked up with a weird expression “ha my speciality right?” Alex looked happy “well your right about that its just not much of a good thing” Yusaf wasn't even paying attention. He was looking everywhere,  marbled walls and black stained windows” This place really is large, isn't it? Just look everywhere and this isn't even the largest base,” Alex began looking around “Your right it really is crazy all under Glints nose.

“The mission, who are we sending for it?” John asked the council that they had to be on board with any decision he made for it to go through. Now it was time for that dreaded time of the month mission, selecting “i volunteer my daughter Miranda. “Ahh, speaking of that i have 2 recruits i will be adding. " Recruits? What do you mean we can't let new recruits on missions when we are not even sure of the danger level? You think sending a recruit is a good idea, and two of that  matter,” John sighed “If recruits aren't sent on missions, they won't learn. Trust me, everything will be fine either way. We will be sending Miranda Yusaf and Alex on this mission, and that's final”.

Sounds of chattering filled the halfway that Yusaf and Alex where walking “Did you hear about the two recruits being sent on a mission” That spread like wildfire a rumour someone walked up to Alex “Hey did you hear the leader picked two recruits for a mission i feel bad for them lol” Alex turned away and kept walking “Everyones talking about that one thing its kinda of annoying” Yusaf turned back “Eh the roumour will die out soon enough its not like recruits woudl actually be sent out on a mission” Alex chuckled a bit “ Yea your right its not like tha-” Alex was cut off a BLD guard walked up to the two of them “Alex and Yusaf right?” Yusaf looked up nervously” Yup in the flesh, whatcha need us for?” The guard looked and responded, “Come with me” The guard started walking forward. Alex gave Yusaf a nudge, and they began following close behind “You dont think were being expelled instantly, right?” Alex looked at him grimly “There's no way we didnt do anything wrong, and even if we did its your fault for sure” Yusaf's face turned “Hey im not to blame” The guard turned back “Keep quiet” they kept walking until they made it to a room with a metal door “Isn't this the leader's door?” Alex's face lit up “maybe were being congratulated "Definitely not “Yusaf replied. The guard knocked, and the door opened “Ahh hello, welcome, please sit down
