The Deep Cave and the Secret Treasure

I traveled through the narrow tunnel, surrounded the painting in ancient style and historic, the bioluminescent mushrooms illuminate in the eerie darkness, swallowed nervously during wandering around at the narrow tunnel walls, I wrapped my fingers around the handle of the lantern, which was the only one light source to find something precious. I moved deeper until I stepped something strange, almost like a copper. 

I moved the lantern towards the source below, beneath my reptilian feet. I caught something heavy and metal yet somehow it was now reddish brown, almost I feel the scent of copper filled my nostrils, my gaze landed on the object. 

I lowered myself down in one knee, settled the lantern down to see the old fashioned object, I've realized, there was a ancient iron trap door, a sliding was covered in dust for a million years ago, which means there's also a secret base, my eyes widened in awe and curiosity. I wrapped my fingers around the handle of the lantern, searching for something to access this odd door ajar. 

I sighed in frustration, clenching my teeth, exposing my sharp tooth gleamed in the lantern light, there are no signs to access this trap door to force open, unless there's something more from the other areas, I rise myself from the ground with huff and moved forward to find another place to access, without this weird trap door without the handle.

Hours pass, I finally found the another narrowed tunnel, sighed of relief without hesitation I immediately dash towards the void as following the trail path, the lantern light flickered from inside. Then I accidentally stepped something cracking almost sounds like a bones? I froze, my gaze landed beneath on my reptilian feet, I moved the lantern towards the source making my eyes widened in terror, I've realized, there was a human bones lying on the ground, my mouth trembled making a sound almost scared. I moved the lantern around, it's light illuminate the darkness. 

Multiple skulls was lying still in the ground, covered in dust from the ancient years, due to the massive population of this place, it was already illegal to trespass this territory without permission to someone. 

My eyes landed on the ground beneath me, scattered bones lay still, covered in dust, leaving a trail towards the unknown direction, that makes me shivered, not from the cold air in this area, the place was very unusual, but it assist me towards the trail path from afar although this was still scary as hell. I followed the bones to lead me straight towards the source for the massive ancient chamber.

I arrived outside of the large chamber, I'll descended below, my reptilian feet tap against the dust-covered ground, still holding the handle and the staff of my spear in case someone lure me from afar, hiding in the shadows without exposing it's form. 

But then I heard something the object landed on the pile of something jingle making my eyes widened in realization. There's a coin inside! I wondered to myself, without hesitation I'll heading lower the direction, my reptilian feet tapping against the dust-covered surface causing the dust leaped themselves from the ground, forming a fewer mist beneath my feet. The narrow tunnel walls blurring as I'm increased my speed.

I finally arrived at the large chamber surrounded in illuminate golden coins and different kinds of jewelry and then the ancient swords standing in the pile of gold, I stepped inside, my reptilian feet pressed against the pile of gold making it jingle even louder. 

My eyes landed something lay beneath the ground, it was a small, pocket size bag that can store up to stock's can enough to fit ten coins and expensive rock stone. A bundle? I thought to myself, approaching the small object in curiosity and cautious, I kneeled at front of the leather texture, tilted my head as I picked it up, inspecting the texture with my clawed hand, pressing it to my nose, inhaling the scent of ancient, and the dust making my nostrils twitched, I open my mouth, letting a loud sneeze.

"Achhooo!!!"

I sniffled, rubbing my nose although it's still twitch at the same time because the dust landed on the bridge of my nose towards inside making me sneezed even louder. The entire chamber began to trembled, almost shaking, I paused, eyes widened in realization, I wandered my head around in panic, I'm immediately picked some gold coins enough twenty pieces to fit the bundle and the two small pieces of amber before I fled away towards the upstairs before the entire chamber falling. 

I kept dodging some falling debris from the above as the cave slowly relinquish. I quicken my feet, my gaze still fixed at the exit of the cave. Without hesitation I immediately leaped myself from the ground as the debris and pebbles landed with a loud THUD! I stumbled in the ground, left a few scratches on my body, I looked up as I watched the interior of the cave has been locked up by the massive debris, leaving a mist drifting outside of the mouth of the cave. 

I sat down, rubbing the top of my head with my right reptilian arm in slow lazy motion. My belongings lay scattered on the ground, I stared up at the bundle, spilled some few golden coins. I crawled and picked the bundle, placing the coins back inside, but then a massive shadow swallowed my small form, my eyes widened in realization. 

I snatched my spear and the lantern which is no longer illuminate. I gulped nervously as I glanced slowly over my shoulder, lifted my head above. 

It was massive, but except the small arms, when the head slowly landed on my form, I've ever forgot, it was my mother, her reptilian gaze narrowed in suspicion, almost scolding her offsprings for leaving without her permission, I waved my hand anxiously. 

"O-oh hi, mom. How did you find me?" I asked, swallowed, the mother T-Rex huffed, she gestured her massive head on the ground below; there was a footprints trail behind, which is more than belonged to me, I laughed nervously and said. 

"Mom, it wasn't me." I lied, but my mother T-Rex knew what's the truth or a lie, she immediately agape her mouth wider and snapped around my small form, but not to devour whole—just placed me inside of her jaws to forced me to get back home because it was already midnight as the moonlight glow bathed in the clearings from the above. 

"M-Mom…! Let me go…!"

I whine defeatedly, no longer squirming stubbornly like a spoiled child, just letting myself succumbed completely into sleep as my mother footsteps echoed around the woods, but inside, I heard her heart beat reverted through my mind as we heading straight towards our home.

My mission was success, but except I ended up to get scolded by my own reptilian mother.
