Chapter 12: The Beach Episode (Part 3 - The Coast Guard)

I Have Terrible Social Anxiety, But the School Thinks I’m a Yakuza Boss, and the Disciplinary President is Trying to "Tame" Me Through Marriage!

The relentless, scorching afternoon sun continues to heavily bake the crowded beach. Ryuu Kuroda cowers silently within the massive, highly fortified sandcastle he desperately constructed to avoid all human contact. The thick sand walls provide a comforting, isolating physical barrier against the chaotic, terrifying social world.

Suddenly, the deafening, aggressive roar of heavily modified motorcycle engines violently shatters the peaceful coastal atmosphere. A notorious, highly dangerous local biker gang aggressively rides their heavy machines directly onto the pristine white sand. They violently kick over colorful umbrellas, loudly harass the terrified beachgoers, and casually toss empty glass bottles into the crashing ocean waves.

The imposing leader of the biker gang, a heavily tattooed man with a deep, menacing scowl, spots the incredibly elaborate sand fortress. He revs his massive engine and aggressively steers his heavy motorcycle directly toward Ryuu's carefully constructed perimeter moat.

"Look at this pathetic little dirt pile", the gang leader sneers loudly, revving his engine to intimidate the silent teenager sitting inside the walls. "I am going to crush it flat".

Ryuu is completely paralyzed by his crippling social anxiety. His heart violently hammers against his fragile ribcage. He desperately wants to disappear completely into the earth. To avoid any terrifying eye contact with the aggressive gang, he reaches with violently trembling hands into his waterproof canvas bag. He slowly pulls out a heavy, black, highly sophisticated handheld amateur radio transceiver.

Ryuu possesses a deep, obsessive passion for digital radio modes and automated station management. To soothe his violently overstimulated nerves, he plans to simply put on his earpiece and silently monitor the local marine traffic and AIS ship tracking data broadcasting across the VHF frequencies. He heavily relies on the rhythmic, predictable digital data packets to completely drown out the terrifying social interactions of the real world.

His cold, sweating fingers clumsily fumble with the heavy radio in his lap. Because his hands shake so violently with pure, unadulterated panic, he accidentally twists the volume knob to its absolute maximum capacity and completely disables the squelch barrier.

A sudden, deafening, highly aggressive burst of raw radio static violently erupts from the powerful internal speaker. The sharp, earsplitting noise heavily echoes across the entire beach like a sudden artillery explosion. Immediately following the harsh static, a deep, highly authoritative, heavily distorted robotic voice from the automated marine dispatch violently broadcasts across the open frequency.

"Target acquired at coordinate alpha. Vessel speed twenty knots. Awaiting final confirmation for immediate interception", the marine dispatch voice booms across the sand.

Ryuu freezes entirely. His prominent facial scar stretches incredibly tightly across his pale skin. He desperately tries to turn the volume down, but his locked muscles completely fail him. His brow furrows deeply, and his glowing, terrified eyes narrow into a dark, intense, highly lethal glare as he frantically stares at the glowing screen of the complicated radio. His terrifying "Resting Murder Face" activates at its maximum, most horrifying capacity.

The heavily tattooed biker gang leader instantly pulls hard on his motorcycle brakes, violently skidding to a halt just inches from the sandy moat. He stares in absolute, unadulterated horror at the dark, silent teenager holding the military-grade communications equipment.

The gang leader does not see a nervous boy listening to harmless AIS tracking data. He clearly sees a ruthless, cold-blooded underworld kingpin casually holding a highly secure, encrypted tactical radio. He hears the authoritative, military-sounding dispatch chatter and completely assumes the worst.

"He commands the coastal fleet!", the terrifying biker leader screams in pure, visceral panic. "He actively calls in a naval artillery strike directly onto our position!".

"Retreat! Retreat!", another gang member cries out, violently spinning his heavy motorcycle around in the wet sand. "He utilizes heavy naval bombardment against a street gang!".

The entire group of bikers completely shatters under the immense psychological terror. They frantically rev their loud engines and violently speed away down the beach, kicking up massive clouds of white sand in their desperate, chaotic haste to escape the incoming imaginary missiles.

Ryuu slowly blinks his tired, glowing eyes. He finally manages to twist the volume knob down, plunging the sandcastle back into a quiet, comforting silence. He stares blankly at the fading tire tracks in the sand. He breathes a long, raspy sigh of absolute exhaustion. He has absolutely no idea why the noisy motorcycles suddenly left, but he is incredibly grateful that his carefully built sand walls remain entirely intact.

From her highly strategic position upon the sandy defensive ramparts, Reina Arisugawa writes furiously in her waterproof leather notebook. Her sharp, intelligent eyes are wide with profound, overwhelming respect and deep admiration.

"He commands total maritime supremacy", Reina notes with a glowing, furious blush of pride. "He casually coordinates heavy naval assets to completely obliterate his enemies without ever leaving his fortified command center. His grasp of combined arms warfare is truly terrifying".
