Chapter 7:
SkullBerry: A Skeleton and Cherub's Love Story
I can’t believe it, I’m in a hole! Why would someone leave a nicely cut steak and potatoes out like that, and put a hole beneath it! Oh, they probably did it to protect their lunch…
…Oh No! I’m a lunch thief! I’m sorry mysterious hole digger, I didn’t mean to eat your lunch! Also please help me get out of here. I know I ate your lunch, but isn’t this a bit extreme? I would fly out but I just had a nice mean, so this is a bit of a squee-I’m Not Fat Okay! You just thought I was fat didn’t you, how dare you! I’ll have you know that I was born with a condition-That's right my condition! If I warm up a bit I should be able to-
*Rustle*
Huh? Wait a minute, that sound, it came from the top of the hole! I looked up to see the shadow of a figure peering into the hole. Could it be, mister hole digger is that you!?! This might be my chance, hopefully mister is forgiving.
“Hmmm, Oh! Hey mister, could you please help me get out of here?”

*A couple hours ago*
I felt something warm over my closed eyes, as I opened them I realized that it was morning time. I slowly lifted my body and roused myself awake, this bed really is made from angel silk…Wait, if it’s angel silk then wouldn’t that mean I’m sleeping on my own kind right now!?! Before I could go deeper into dangerous territory, I began hearing playful chirping outside my window. Finally my favorite part of the morning, I began to stand up and stretched out my body. I then looked down at my slim appearance, I’m gonna miss being able to see my toes. I made my way over to the window, and after a minor struggle I managed to open it. Outside my window flying in a circular motion were the birds I’ve been feeding lately. I picked up the bag of bread crumbs I had and began calling out to my feathered friends.
“Toto! Polo! Bobo! Time for breakfast!”
The primary colored trio flew closer to eat, I then started tossing out some crumbs to feed them. Once they were satiated they began chirping a hymn for me as thanks. After that my winged friends began flying off to enjoy their day, well I guess they aren’t the only ones.
“I wonder, will I ever be able to fly like that?”
All the others can fly, so why am I the only one who can’t. Am I defective? I was starting to get pessimistic unto a calm breeze flew by and brushed my face. Feeling it helped me calm down, I decided to close my eyes and take a few deep breaths too. It’s all gonna be fine, everything’s gonna work out somehow, all I got to do is be patient. I reopened my eyes, my vigor and wit finally reignited. However, that’s when another breeze blew by and it was a very cold one.
*Tremble*
Uh-oh, I was doing so well too! My whole body felt shivers due to that cold breeze, and as a response(as usual) my slim frame immediately bloated. Giving me the appearance of someone who’s a bit chubby.
“...Phooey! Not Again!”
You see I have a minor problem, my body bloats like a puffer fish when I get cold.
