Chapter 1:

Mommy's magical makeover

Magical Mommy Makeover

Today was Mother's Day. It was also the day magical girl, Ayumu, found herself in trouble. This time, a mercenary had been turned into a melodica monster by the evil Count Davor Drašković.

"That's what you get for mocking Queen Vlatka!" Davor laughed as he flew away by outstretching his cape.

Ayumu gritted her teeth as blood began to ooze down her face. "Ngh, why did this monster have to appear today!?"

...

Sitting in the living room watching a broadcast of Ayumu's battle on TV, Ayumu's mother trembled with anxiety. "She's getting beaten. I need to help her, but I don't have my magic powers anymore," she thought.

Suddenly, Ayumu's fairy came bursting in. "Big trouble! Ayumu's in a big pinch! Eika, we gotta get you there so you can save her and the town!" the fairy cried.

"But how?"

"There's a way. In this town there's a mystic named, Fujiko. She can power you up, but at a price."

"What price?"

"Mmmm... just a little hair off the top."

Within seconds, Eika had rolled up her jeans to her thighs and laced up her sneakers. "Let's go," she glared as she tightened the band on her robe.

...

Arriving at a salon, a woman with long brunette hair greeted the two. "Hello, I am Fujiko. How may I assist you?"

"I want the power to kick that monster's ass," Eika proclaimed.

"Oh, yes. Hmm... Hair and eyebrows."

"Huh?"

"Hair and eyebrows. That's the cost you'll have to pay. Oh, and I do wax for efficiency's sake-"

Eika was in the chair in seconds.

Fujiko let out a whistle. "Now last chance to back out, I'm shaving your head and eyebrows, waxing the whole thing too. You fine with being bald and browless?"

"Do it, and do it quick. I need to save Ayumu."

"Happy Mother's Day," Fujiko grinned as she flicked on the clippers and plunged them into Eika's hair.

Within a minute, Eika was sheared and encased in shaving cream. Fujiko quickly, but carefully, shaved her smooth, then lathered and repeated one last time before encasing her in wax. Eika didn't so much as flinch when she was unwaxed, nor freak out in the slightest at her smooth new appearance.

"Alright, now for the powerup, I'm gonna have to cover that smooth head and pretty face of yours in magic cream," Fujiko nodded as she began smearing minty green cream all over Eika's head and face.

A smile began to form on Eika's face as she felt power beginning to well up inside her.

"And now, to hide the fact that you're bald, the towel of power," Fujiko smiled as she wrapped a towel around Eika's head. "And now, kick ass, queen."

Eika got up and nodded before slowly levitating off the ground, then zipping out of the salon faster than lightning.

"Wow, she's moving faster than she did back when she was a magical girl," the fairy exclaimed.

"Hmm, now your turn," Fujiko scowled.

"Heh?"

"Oh you think my services are free? I'm shaving all your fur off for payment."

"Wh- Why!?"

"Oh, because fairy fur is quite valuable. Now time to become the smooth fairy," Fujiko snarled as she clamped her hand around the fairy's body.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

...

Meanwhile, Ayumu struggled to remain standing as the melodica monster inched forward. "No... Is this it? Ngh..."

POW!

Ayumu's eyes widened as a woman with green beauty cream on her face clad in a white robe, sneakers, rolled up jeans, and a towel turban suddenly appeared and kicked right through the melodica monster.

"Well talk about power," Eika smirked as the monster reverted to it's human form.

Ayumu's eyes widened as she recognized the woman's voice. "O- Okaa-chan!?"

Eika smiled and turned to face Ayumu. "Hey, girl. I got a makeover and powered up."

"... Uh, just by smearing beauty cream over your face and wrapping up your hair in a towel?"

"Oh no, I'm bald."

"YOU'RE BALD!?"

"And browless."

"AND BROWLESS!?"

"Yup, see?" Eika smiled as she yanked off the towel and peeled off the cream.

"Wh- Why?"

"To save you. Hair and eyebrows are a small price to pay for that."

Ayumu teared up and embraced Eika in a hug. "I'm sorry you had to go bald for me."

"Don't be. I dig it. Though if you keep feeling bad, I'll have you shave to match-"

"I'm not beating myself up anymore."

"Good."

"Happy Mother's Day."

"Ahem!" a voice snarled.

Eika and Ayumu turned and gasped as they saw a smooth furless fairy before them.

"It's me. Fujiko demanded "EXTRA" for the power up."

"Oh... Thank you very much," Eika smiled.

"YOU NEVER APPRECIATE WHAT I DO!"
