The Miracle

A long time ago, in another universe different from ours, there was a small planet like our Earth. In this planet, there was a man called Sabah living in poor condition. He had a small and old house, and beautiful and caring wife. He had rough past: he has lost his parents in fire, grew up in orphanage and married the girl from same orphanage. He had unpaid debts left from his parents to banks, neighbors and even to a shady business. Though having rough life, he was grateful and optimistic person, and his biggest wish in this life is to have a child and to watch him grow healthy with family care. He was hardworking and honest person trying to work hard and doing his best and to make a living for his family, but the luck was not on his side. The world was corrupted, the life was corrupted with filth and greed of humans: The country he was living in was hell for the poor and heaven for the rich. Injustice, bribery and crimes were the parts of normal life. He didn't have stable work and income to provide for his family. Soon he learned that his wife was pregnant, his son would be born soon. He was happy, he was working hard, enduring all the evil of this world to just see his son born and live healthy life. Though dealing with debts and toxic work conditions, he was trying to provide his wife with nutritional foods. Unfortunately, the life didn't smile him till the end, his happiness ended too soon, his son died before being born due to lack of nutrients. He blamed himself so badly for this incident, the spark in his eyes is gone, his same lifeless condition returned,. Though all misfortunes, he promised himself and his wife that this incident would not repeat again though this was not his fault.

One day, he found the light in his life to provide a better future for his family. He found a stable job in a taxi company: he was working hard to provide a better life and his manager was grateful to him for hardworking. His hardworking was inspiration for other workers, but some workers envy him. Now he can provide his family not only with proper food, but also with proper medication and nutrition. It seems that finding a stable job is not only surprise in his life, soon her wife surprised him with her pregnancy news. As it seems, this was not only surprise in his life: one day, the shady business which he had debts to, crossed his way and asked for money. He mentioned the situation to them, but they didn't listen. They beat him up, said:

-"You have 3 days to return your debts to us, otherwise you and your wife will not see tomorrow"

and they left. He was shocked and in despair:

-"Only 3 days, ha... I hoped that this time I would provide a better life for you and our child, Sara (his wife name)"

and he continued:

-"Why, why, why? Why should I be born poor and with my family debts, why I can't provide a better life for my family, why I hoped that there was light in my life, but it was only darkness."

He continued like that a little and then stood up:

-"Complaining will not change anything, I should move forward. God will show the way for us."

He returned home and explained everything to Sara. Sara healed his wounds, stayed strong in front of his husband. but in secret, she cried a lot. For Sara, abandoned from the time she was born, the only place she can call home was orphanage and his side. For her, he was very determined and optimistic person which making her curious towards him, she learned living and clinging to life from him, not for herself, just to see which type of life awaits him, she was ready to live this life just to live him by his side till the end. For that reason, instead of looking for her families, she decided to marry and to live with him. Tomorrow she send off him to work and before going to work, he said these words to his wife:

-"Don't worry, this child will be born safely, we will have a better life. I promised to you, do you remember?"

She said:

-"But... let's try to be realistic. We can't do anything, we will not see that future, only miracle can save us",

he interrupted her:

-"Then believe in miracles, God can make miracles. Never lose your hope!"

Her mind was illuminated by these words, then she saw off her husband.

A day later, Sabah had regular customers, but one customer among them was special. He was wearing a luxury costume and had a small work bag in his hands. He said that he had an urgent meeting he had to attend, asked him hurry and got in Sabah's car. Sabah did his work well: he managed to come the meeting place in time. While Sabah was returning from his work to garage, he noticed his bag in car, and he took the bag, checked by shaking, it was making paper sound from inside. The curiosity caught him and opened the case, He was shocked, the bag was full of money. His eyes shined from this much money, his minds becomes full of thoughts: he could have taken that money, run away. It was chance for him, this amount of money was enough to pay debts and to provide a better future for his family and it was such a time that if you lose your money, you wouldn't be able to find it ever, it was his fault that he was careless, nobody would suspect that Sabah took all money - his hands was trying to reach the money, while thinking. Suddenly he realized his mistake, if he stole the money, he would build the life for his family and for his child just from lies and unjust like others. He grabbed his hand and stopped on midway with his other hand, closed the bag, put it back to the car. Then he entered his car directly and drove to the location of that customer. When Sabah came to the location, he saw that the customer was looking for his bag hopelessly. He gave the bag to the customer, the customer thanked him:

-"Thanks for returning the bag, I can't believe that there is a person like you remaining in this world. I don't know what should I do, if I lose the money, I was in a meeting related to providing health payments for sick orphan children by us. You not only saved me from trouble, you also saved the thousands of orphan children.

Sabah was shocked from what he said, and he said to himself:

-"I was fool, I was about to make a mistake, I was about to betray the orphanage which gave home, food and family people like us. Thanks God, I didn't do the sin."

Sabah also thanked the customer for his charity and continued his work.

When he returned to the office, the manager asked him to come to his room. He curiously entered his manager's office and in the room near the manager, there was a worker. The worker started to speak:

-"I saw Sabah having lots of money in garage and I think that he stole him from some customers. I have said so many times to you, sir, please don't believe Sabah. He can look like an angel, but he is devil inside."

The manager started:

-"Stop, I have already listened to you, let's listen to him. I am curious... which types of excuses you will make, Sabah?"

Sabah with shocked and despaired face talked:

-"Sir, I didn't steal any money, it was the money of the customer forgot to take when he was leaving and I already returned it back to the customer",

then the manager continued:

-"Let's say we believed the story you made to deceive us. Then before returning the money to the customer, why you didn't tell me about that. You should have reported it first. We would have handled it"

and Sabah interrupted:

-"But, sir, you know that well, we should never touch the belongings of our customer. Did you know that he will spend that money on sick orphan children?"

He interrupted Sabah's words angrily:

-"He said those words and you believed those lives; you are such a fool. We are not in a condition that care about others, Sabah, we should think about ourselves, not others. This is the basic rule of the world, otherwise you will never survive, we will not survive, no one will punish you for your wrongdoings, in fact, we will suffer more if we continue to be a good person and hurt ourselves. It was great pleasure to work with you, Sabah, you are already fired! I hope this teach you something"

Sabah left the room speechless, and he saw the evil smile of the worker while he was leaving. He felt betrayed and while leaving work and on his way home, he cried, he cried a lot, but he recovered himself when he reached the home. He explained what happened that day to his wife, she became sad when she saw him sad. Though she didn't make him more anxious, she also reminded him that they had one day remaining to pay his debts. Sabah suggested that they could take what they could, run away from their houses and probably the mafia (the shady business) would not find them for a while. She saw that they have no other choice, therefore she agreed to what he suggested, and they gathered everything in a night. Before sleeping, they prayed to God, and they slept anxiously. Everyone was nervous and everyone was afraid of dying, but they knew that if they called anyone for help, they would never help, even the police would can't help them, because this world was wicked. Though this big anxiety, they slept well.

Sabah in his dream heard a calm and similar voice:

-"Do you believe in miracles?"

Sabah:

-"Miracles?! Of course, I believe. Sorry for the interruption, who are you?",

The voice:

-"It doesn't matter who I am. Soon you will wake up from that dream, don't shorten your time with unnecessary questions. You always wanted to make a happy, bright future for your family, right?! Then you should believe me"

and Sabah:

-"How do you know?! It doesn't matter. If you help me to bring that future to me, and even I have slightest chance to get that, I believe in you"

The voice:

-"Good! You are so determined, so I am continuing... I'll show you some symbols to you, please keep them in your mind these symbols and tomorrow write them on paper. Okay?!",

Sabah:

-"Even I know this is dream, I will do what you said"

and voice:

-"Please don't forget these symbols, this is last chance to change your future completely. Use this chance very well, then I am showing you, keep them in your mind."

That night Sabah saw weird symbols in his dream, they were difficult symbols to keep in mind, but he remembered the promise for his family and for a bright future he wanted, he focused and kept all of them in mind. We woke up in the morning before everyone woke up and tried to draw what he saw in his dream. He also remembered the voice in his dream. While drawing, he realized that voice was the voice of the costumer in a luxury costume. While drawing, he said:

-"If this is miracle in my life, I believe in that miracle"

and continued. His wife woke up from her dream and saw her husband:

-"Why do you wake up early, my dear? What are you doing, drawing?"

Sabah explained what he saw in his dream shortly to her. First, Sara thought he was joking, but she saw seriousness in his face while he was drawing and believed in him.

After a few minutes, he finished his drawing. That day, something extraordinary happened, and the thing was never expected. The paper started to shine and to float in mid air. He and his wife were shocked by that. Suddenly, the sky starts to shatter, and it is suddenly broken. Some magical glass pieces started to fall from the sky and that was incredible to watch. The paper dropped on ground and big black portal suddenly appeared in the room. From portal, 5 men came. Sabah and Sara were watching everything from the corner of the room shockingly. The man with fancy clothes started to speak:

-"It seems that portal opened successfully. Hmmm... then what was preventing us to open portal before?"

other man took magical glass piece from ground and said:

-"Doctor, it seems that we were true, there was magical barrier in this world preventing us to open portal",

man with fancy clothes:

-"Yeah, it is magical glass barrier pieces, then what made this barrier to break... and where are we now?"

and Sabah suddenly started to talk:

-"Portal?! What is happening and who are you?"

Doctor noticed them in corner:

-"Hmm... You understand me. It seems my telepathic translator tool works very well in different universes. Sorry for the interruption, we are scientists, and we can be outsiders for you. We came from a different universe; we always like to observe different planets. We also want to observe your planet, but some sort of barrier did not let us enter your world."

Sabah interrupted:

-"Maybe, I broke this barrier by drawing some weird symbols" - he gave the paper to them while shaking from shock

and scientist took the paper Sabah showed:

-"That is unknown unseal type. Do your world advance in this type of magics?"

and Sabah:

-"I think no, we don't exactly know what magic is?"

Doctor said:

-"How did you do that?"

Sabah explained what he saw in his dream, while explaining situation, he and 5 men also introduced themselves. The name of doctor was Biom, he was greatest scientist in his universe and his works were supported by king himself in his world. Discovery of this world was a great success for him, and he thanked Sabah a lot, but he couldn't believe what he said:

-"Please let me touch your forehead, I have an ability to see people's memories. You know we are a scientist, we don't believe people what they said until we get reliable evidence, so I want to be sure that what you said is true, nothing special."

Sabah let him touch his forehead and Biom saw his all past. Sabah was only son of his family, and their all-family members were living together. They had debts to the mafia, but they don't have enough money to pay them back. From his past memories, entered the memories of his family members, what he saw shocked him, all his family members were slaughtered by the mafia at night and their house was burned. Sabah was the only one who survived in this incident and after some health check-ups, he was sent to an orphanage. After growing up, he married a girl in the orphanage. However, that mafia didn't stop and also followed him. He said Sabah what he saw, and Sabah was shocked from what the truth behind the death of his family members and about the fire, and he cried a lot. Biom mentioned:

-"I saw your terrifying past and I feel sorry for you. Hmmm... I also saw the memories of that mafia, it seems that they will not leave your side very soon, so I can help you and I invite you to come to our universe. In that universe, you will be rewarded by the king because of your help for the discovery of this planet. You will have a great life, a great future. What do you think?!"

Sabah couldn't believe his eyes and he started to tear. The future he hoped is already real, he can finally be happy again, he can create a better for his son. He discussed this suggestion with his wife and said:

-"We want to go with you!"

Biom said:

-"Think it as a return for your help".

At the end, they decided to go with Biom to him world and the promised future by Biome was provided to Sabah and Sara. They didn't suffer anymore, they lived happily, their son was born healthy, and they put the name of village they lived in that universe as their child name. The name of this new-born baby was Sari. Though they were in a different world, they worked hard and paid back all debts to the previous universe and cut all ties completely with previous universe. That awaited miracle finally found them, and the promise and the hope made them to move forward to this beautiful life.
