"Come on, come on!" I whispered as my hand trembled. The small bobby pin was enough to remove the device.

Three months earlier...

I woke up to the same alarm clock since the day I was born. I turned it off, as usual, and went to school. Same teacher. Same kids. Same... well everything. But I have an idea to get out of this living hell. Take the train out of this terrible town. 

I hopped on the L, more excited than ever. Then the train operator said "Last stop, Mayor's Income!" 

I ran out of the train in a heartbeat. I walked up the stairs. 

Then I saw it, a new city! It was amazing! I couldn't wait to step on the new sidewalk. But then... 

I woke up to the same alarm clock since I was born. I turned it off as usual. 

"Wait. I already did this earlier. Something happened when I did something. Now what was it? Oh! I was going to a new town but then something happened." 

I went to the train station again and got out on the last stop. I looked outside, but this time I didn't touch it. I was going to figure something out.
