Chapter 2:
TSS: Telugu Sāhitya Sārvabhauma (Supreme Sovereign of Telugu Literature)
Chapter 1 — scene 2: Satya's condition and vishwa's decision
Location: V Hospital, Floor 42 — Premium Trauma Suite 04
The pneumatic hiss of the high-tech elevator doors echoed softly through the sterile corridor of the 42nd floor. Step by measured step, Vishwa advanced toward Premium Trauma Suite 04, flanked by his elite security detail and his manager, Mr. Guna, whose traditional attire and crimson Tilak stood out sharply against the hospital's stark, clinical white geometry.
Inside the private suite, a heavy, suffocating silence hung in the air. Sitting vigil beside the unresponsive body on the automated medical bed were Satya’s closest companions, Gayatri and Ravi. Standing near them was Mr. Murthy, the venerable CEO of Murthy Publications—the man who had recognized Satya’s raw genius, mentored him, and published the very stories that had shaken the foundation of the industry.
The moment the doors slid open and Vishwa’s commanding presence filled the room, Murthy’s eyes, heavy with unshed tears, widened in shock. Instantly standing up in reverence, Murthy bowed his head slightly.
"Namaskaram, Vishwanath Garu," Murthy whispered, his voice cracking with emotion.
Vishwa stopped, his posture impeccable, and returned the gesture with chillingly flawless etiquette.
"Namaskaram, Murthy Garu."Seated on the other side of the bed, Gayatri and Ravi stiffened. They deliberately averted their eyes, treating the literary emperor’s arrival with a cold, unyielding silence.
Vishwa strode further into the room, Guna trailing a half-step behind him.
His eyes fell upon the stark white mattress. There lay Satya Harishchandra. The brilliant, rebellious writer was completely motionless, his head wrapped in thick, synthetic medical bandages stained with a faint trace of blood. A massive array of neural cables connected his temples to the advanced life-support machines humming softly in the background.
Breaking the heavy silence, Vishwa turned his head slightly toward Murthy and Satya's friends.
"How did this happen? What is his current status?"
Murthy wiped a tear from his cheek, his shoulders sagging under the weight of the diagnosis.
"The physicians just delivered the update, Vishwa Garu... Satya has slipped into a deep, unresponsive coma."
Hearing those words, the dam broke. Gayatri’s hands began to shake violently, her eyes burning with tears. Beside her, the emotional dam inside Ravi snapped. He could no longer restrain the burning rage consuming his soul. Ignoring the sheer power of the man standing before him, Ravi stood up, his chair scraping violently against the floor.
"You're the sole reason he is lying in that bed, aren't you?!" Ravi yelled, his voice shaking with unbridled fury. "Why are you even here? Did you come to gloat? To feast on our misery? Everyone knows you despised Satya and his work! So stop playing the saint—why do you suddenly care about his life?!"
Murthy’s face drained of color. Fear gripped the older man's heart as he grabbed his son's arm, pulling him back.
"Ravi! Control yourself right now! Do you even realize who you are talking to, or have you lost your mind?! How dare you speak whatever vile accusation pops into your head? Vishwanath Garu has come out of pure nobility to check on our Satya. Is this how you treat someone who shows such grace?!"
Ravi bitterly yanked his arm free, glaring daggers directly into Vishwa’s eyes.
"Oh, I know exactly who he is, Father! He is the almighty 'Emperor' of this corrupted industry, isn't he? Go ahead, put your dictator on a pedestal and worship him like a god! While you all bow down, he goes around systematically trying to murder anyone like Satya who dares to speak the truth!"
Ravi threw one final, venomous glare at Vishwa, his chest heaving with hatred. Yet, as he glared, Vishwa merely looked back at him with an eerie, unbothered tranquility. The absolute calmness in Vishwa's eyes made Ravi look like an insignificant child throwing a tantrum. Unable to bear the suffocating pressure of that gaze, Ravi spun around and violently stormed out of the suite, slamming the door behind him.
Once the tension in the room partially dissolved, Murthy turned to Vishwa, his hands trembling as he bowed repeatedly.
"Please forgive my son, Vishwa Garu... he is young, blinded by grief and acting out of pure, reckless emotion—"
Vishwa raised a single hand, smoothly cutting him off. A soft, reassuring smile played on his lips.
"Please, do not apologize, Murthy Garu. It is only natural for Ravi to feel such blinding anger right now. After all, they are best friends. I take absolutely none of his words to heart."
Vishwa then turned his attention to a medical nurse standing near the corner console, her posture rigid with anxiety.
Vishwa’s tone shifted into one of absolute command.
"Nurse, summon the chief neurosurgeon overseeing Satya Garu’s treatment immediately. I need to speak with him directly."
Recognizing the absolute authority in his voice, the nurse nodded frantically.
"R-Right away, Sir!"
She practically ran out of the room.
Within moments, the lead doctor arrived at a breathless pace, quickly straightening his lab coat as he stepped into the presence of the industry tycoon.
"Good morning, Vishwanath Garu!"
"Namaskaram, Doctor," Vishwa replied calmly. "Tell me clearly—what is Satya’s true condition? Will he ever wake up from this coma?"
The doctor sighed, adjusting his glasses as he pointed to the neurological scans flashing on the wall monitors.
"The blunt force trauma was extraordinarily severe, Sir. During the impact, Satya Garu’s forehead collided directly with the manual steering wheel at terminal velocity..."
[Flashback Sequence: The Outer Ring Hyper-Highway — Previous Night]
The night sky above Vijayapuri is torn apart by flashing sirens. Inside the cockpit of the high-tech sedan, the dashboard alarms scream in a deafening chorus of crimson warnings as the entire navigation matrix glitches into a blinding red error screen. The vehicle loses all stabilization, careening violently into the upper air-corridors. Like a rogue missile, the car wrecks a catastrophic chain reaction, mercilessly broadsiding and slamming multiple floating commuter cars, sending synthetic sparks cascading across the obsidian sky.
Stripped of all control, the sedan plows directly into a massive, heavy hovering cargo freighter at terminal velocity. The violent rebound kinetic energy reaches apocalyptic levels. At that exact microsecond, the vehicle's state-of-the-art independent safety systems and internal kinetic dampeners completely freeze and fail to deploy. The immense backward inertia snaps the restraints, throwing Satya violently forward; his forehead smashes directly into the solid, unyielding center of the steering wheel. Blood splatters against the cracked windshield as the shattered glass explodes like a million shimmering diamonds. Swept by the brutal momentum, the dying vehicle smashes straight through the heavy reinforced highway barrier, plunging down from the hyper-highway into the abyss below, before erupting into a blinding, apocalyptic fireball.
[PRESENT TIME - HOSPITAL ROOM]
Vishwa’s eyes narrowed slightly.
"A steering wheel? That makes no sense. In this day and age, standard protocol dictates that every citizen travels on auto-pilot. When the automated mode is engaged, the steering mechanism retracts completely into the dashboard. Why was it even exposed?"
Gayatri, who had been quietly weeping beside Satya's bed, looked up, her voice hollow and trembling.
"No... Satya never used the auto-pilot system. He refused to let an artificial matrix control his path. He had zero trust in the automated network, so he always drove manually."
Guna stepped forward, his large red Tilak stark against his furrowed brow. as he looked at the medical charts.
"Even so... the vehicle’s independent emergency safety countermeasures and internal kinetic dampeners should have deployed to absorb the impact. Why didn't they?"
"They should have," Gayatri cried, burying her face in her hands. "But they failed. Everything failed... and we don't know why."
Vishwa took a slow, deep breath, his chest expanding beneath his tailored suit. He turned his eyes fully toward the chief physician, his voice dropping into a tone of absolute authority that echoed off the sterile walls.
"Doctor, listen to me very carefully. I do not care what it takes, or what advanced medical technologies need to be imported. Satya must be cured. I am personally prepared to fund the entire medical expense, no matter how many millions it costs. Just make sure he opens his eyes."
The doctor bowed deeply, sweating under the pressure.
"We will try our absolute best, Sir—"
"I did not ask you to try, Doctor," Vishwa cut him off, his voice dropping an octave, cold as dry ice. "I commanded you to ensure it happens."
The physician swallowed hard, sweat breaking out on his brow as he nodded frantically.
"Understood, Vishwa Garu. It will be done."
Vishwa then turned to Gayatri and the devastated publisher.
"Gayatri Garu, Murthy Garu... until Satya completely recovers and walks out of this facility, I will remain right here at this hospital, standing vigil alongside you."
Murthy and Gayatri looked at him, utterly moved by what appeared to be an unparalleled display of magnanimity and compassion from the emperor of the industry.
Slowly, Vishwa walked up to the edge of the bed, looking down at the pale, lifeless face of the comatose rebel. his eyes completely transformed, cold and dripping with a venomous, calculating malice as his inner thoughts broke free.
‘Why, Satya? Why did you have to end up like this?’ Vishwa’s internal monologue hissed with absolute arrogance. ‘For eight long years, I have ruled this world without a single blemish, maintaining a flawless, immaculate legacy. And now, because of your pathetic, incompetent accident, the entire world is hurling baseless accusations at my name. You have dragged my reputation through the mud. You have cast a dark, permanent stain on the peak of my career... and it is entirely because of you.’
His fist clenched imperceptibly at his side, his gaze locking onto the heart monitor.
‘I will never forget the insult you have brought upon my brand today, Satya. You will survive this. I will make sure you survive... because I am going to return this humiliation to you, with interest. And when you wake up, your real nightmare begins.’
Vishwa remained standing there, an imposing, silent shadow towering over the comatose writer, his eyes burning with an unspoken promise of absolute destruction.
