A Love Hidden Behind Contracts

“Dear Master Noha, may I ask what is keeping you awake at this hour of the night?”An elegant lady in her sixties softly entered the study room, her presence delicate and calming. The office was spacious and modern, with tall windows overlooking the glowing city skyline. Warm light from desk lamps and ceiling fixtures gave the room a sophisticated atmosphere. At the center stood a large executive desk piled with papers, folders, books, and a laptop. the clear center of countless hours of work. Shelves lined the walls, filled with binders, photographs, and old volumes. One framed poster read DISCIPLINE • FOCUS • EXECUTION • SUCCESS The words suited the room perfectly.

Under the dim office lights, Noha leaned back against his chair, looking exhausted. Messy black hair fell over his sharp red eyes, softened slightly by the warm golden light of the office. Even after hours of work, there was still something dangerously attractive about him the kind of presence that drew attention without trying. His rolled-up sleeves and loosened tie only made him look more effortlessly handsome.

“What? When did you come in, Mrs. May?” Noha asked, startled. “And what time is it?” Noha glanced at the clock. It was already 11:30 PM, and he had only finished half the work he was supposed to complete. Without a word, May used a small spell to pull the curtains aside, allowing silver moonlight to spill gently into the room.

“I brought some tea,” she said softly as she prepared the tea table. “Would you like to share your thoughts as you drink the tea, Master?” may ask. “Why not…” Noha ran a tired hand through his hair, exhaustion clear on his face. “Is this about Miss Zara?” May asked carefully, though worry lingered in her voice. “Yes… that’s right.” He lowered his gaze. “I know this started as a marriage of convenience, but… I’ve already fallen deeply in love with her.” His voice softened. “All I want is to see her laugh and be happy. Her smile is the most valuable thing this world could offer… and her eyes…” He paused quietly. “Those eyes look as though they hide the entire universe within them.” Dusty pink hair that fell a little past her shoulders, slightly messy like faded rose petals. Her blue eyes were bright but calm, standing out sharply against the pale pink of her hair. Her lips were small, but naturally plump in the center, giving them a soft pout even when she wasn’t speaking.

“Master? Master, are you sleeping?” May asked softly, pulling him from his thoughts. Noha slowly opened his eyes and stared at the ceiling. “What… what should I do to make her fall for me as well?” he asked quietly. “I know I was cold at the beginning. I’ve made mistakes… a lot of them. But I want to make it up to her, or else this marriage is only waiting for its deadline.”

He took a sip of tea. “This afternoon, I asked her to have dinner with me, but somehow we ended up discussing work and the contract… and then it turned into an argument.” noha look down at the tea as he re call zara's angary face. “And what was the argument about, if I may ask?” May questioned gently.

“I was only trying to give her advice about her work, and… well, she clearly didn’t appreciate it.” Noha tightened his grip around the teacup in frustration. “Well, Miss Zara is deeply passionate about her work, and She takes great care and pride in she work. She built Building Blocks Company from just nothing and has worked on it since she was only fourteen years old. Now her toys, games, apps, and fashion designs have achieved great success. So your words may have sounded disrespectful to her efforts, even if you did not mean them that way.”

“Yes, yes, I know,” Noha muttered. “I’ve been learning business from my father since I was five and i too have head lot of thing from many people But just because of that I’ve never gone on a TWO WEEK BUSINESS TRIP that wasn’t even planned until this afternoon!” He placed the teacup down sharply. “it’s obvious she only planned this trip to escape this house and the marriage.”

“Master… perhaps Miss Zara does not see this place as her home yet,” May said softly. “Perhaps to her, this is only a place she must stay because of a marriage forced upon her.” Her words carried quiet weight. “You both hated this marriage in the beginning. Yet now you are both desperately trying to preserve a bond forged from duty, blood, and peace rather than affection.” May lowered her eyes thoughtfully.

“For generations, the Ravenholt and Moonveil families were bitter enemies. But after the Moonveils saved the Ravenholts during a devastating magical attack, the two families slowly grew closer, sealing their fragile peace through the arranged marriage of their heirs.” may say it carefully as her repeat the both families.

“Yes… I know.” Noha sighed heavily. “Zara’s great-grandfather grew tired of the war between our families and to both build the history and survive the during the Black Winter War, he risked his life and position to save my great-grandfather. Even after that, the families and their followers still could not trust one another completely… and that is how this marriage was born.” He leaned forward.

“just tell me, do you have any suggestions or not? At this point, I’m willing to try anything even the craziest thing imaginable.” noha said in pure desperation. “Well…” May hesitated nervously. “It may sound a little foolish… but I do have an idea.”Noha immediately looked up with renewed hope.“ What is it? Tell me, May! I trust your guidance.” May still looked uncertain. “When Miss Zara married into this family, she brought a few of her own people with her, as tradition requires. One of them was a young girl named Nora…”
