Chapter 63:

60. Reagan vs Lincoln V: Sequel

Executive Powers

“Abolition!”

Lincoln swung his axe straight into Reagan and tore through her body…without a single ounce of resistance.

“This feeling!” Lincoln exclaimed with surprise, “It’s…another clone?”

The doppelganger smiled.

“Executive Power,” it spoke while dissolving into shimmering lights, “Star Wars; Gemini!”

The lights shot back, gathering around the real Reagan as she leapt at her opponent.

“Followed by its sequel!” she screeched, stabbing her scorpion stinger into Lincoln’s chest, “Star Wars; Scorpio!”

Lincoln gritted his teeth at the pain.

“Abolition!” he screamed, teleporting away.

He brought his hand over his wound, healing himself before teleporting out of the way as Reagan switched to her bow and shot a volley of arrows at him.

“Executive Power!” Lincoln screamed as he brought back his axe. “Abolition!”

“Star Wars; Cancer!” Reagan spoke as Lincoln teleported before her, shifting into her crab and absorbing the bulk of his blow. Lincoln clicked his tongue, immediately teleporting back before Reagan could follow with another attack.

LBJ crossed his arms in the stands.

“Lincoln’s looking sloppier than a pig after a mud bath! He’s failing to counter, refuses to follow up with his attacks…heck, he’s even pulling back his punches just to get away faster!”

FDR nodded in agreement.

“It seems he’s completely fallen for Reagan’s psychological attacks.”

“Psychological attacks?” JFK asked, tilting his eyes away from the other side of the stands.

LBJ raised an eyebrow.

“What were you…” LBJ asked as he turned to where JFK had been looking, instantly spotting a pair of women waving in their direction. “Ah hell Jay; were you seriously gawking at women in the middle of this fight?”

JFK gave an overly exaggerated look of disgust.

“Really now, LBJ, do you honestly think I’d be so—”

“Yes!” LBJ screeched. “Yes, I honestly do! Why, if it weren’t for Taft’s EP I’d slap you from here to Dallas!”

“Let’s forget about all that,” JFK continued with a wave of his hand, “you were talking about psychological from Reagan?”

LBJ rubbed his fingers into his forehead.

“Like how Reagan made Lincoln think he accidentally killed her at the start, or how she’s acting like she knows everything Lincoln’s EP can do. All her actions are designed to get Lincoln second guessing himself, throwing him off his game.”

“Precisely,” FDR added. “These tactics would be difficult to resist under the best of circumstances, but the poison flowing through Lincoln makes it all the harder to bear. It’s a truly brilliant play…”

FDR gave a soft smile as she looked to the arena.

“…as is to be expected from my greatest pupil, Ronda Reagan…”
