Yuto coughed awkwardly, quickly let go of Ochaco's arm, and said, "Sorry. I was afraid you'd get hurt."

The dust scattered, and Bakugo appeared. He said coldly, "You two look pretty relaxed. Still have time to chat?"

Boom!

Without another word, Bakugo attacked the moment he saw them.

Sweat sparked across his right palm, detonating in a chain of explosions.

He used the blasts as propulsion and charged toward Yuto at lightning speed.

His left hand rose high, burning with a huge flame as he smashed it toward Yuto and roared, "Die!"

The whole movement was smooth.

There was not a single wasted motion.

Yuto raised his arm. A white spherical halo wrapped around his right hand. "Air Shatter!"

His right hand collided with Bakugo's left hand. Yuto shattered the attack.

Boom!

The impact boomed. With Yuto and Bakugo at the center, a huge burst of wind and pressure spread outward.

"Ah!"

Bakugo shouted. Then he continued punching fiercely. Every punch came with a huge explosion as he smashed toward Yuto.

Sparks burst everywhere, and the fists collided hard.

Yuto did not back down. He punched back even harder and shattered all of Bakugo's attacks one by one.

Their exchange roared again and again.

Dust rose everywhere, and the whole building trembled.

In the monitoring room, the teachers stared at the screen in shock.

Tsu said, "Bakugo-chan is strong. Yuto-chan should be careful." Ochaco said, "Yuu-kun..."

Kirishima said, "This is a battle between men. It's getting me fired up!"

All Might nodded slightly and smiled. "Very good. Bakugo is excellent in combat. In the practical exam and the Quirk Apprehension Test, he ranked among the best. His problem is that he is too impulsive.

"Yuto is a well-rounded fighter with tremendous combat power and a calm mind."

Everyone nodded. For a moment, it looked like the fight might drag on.

Then the room went quiet as they stared at the screen.

Bakugo's attacks kept coming, giving Yuto no chance to counter.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

His fists blurred. The explosions were deafening, each blast following the last.

Yuto swung his fists and controlled the power of the Gura Gura no Mi at will. "Air Shatter."

Facing these attacks, he easily shattered them all.

It looked as if he had not used much strength at all.

Yuto's gaze sharpened. He said, "This should end now."

Yuto drew his sword, the blade flashing like lightning.

"One Sword Style: Thirty-Six Pound Phoenix!"

This was Thirty-Six Pound Phoenix fused with the power of the Gura Gura no Mi.

The flying slash shot toward Bakugo like a dragon.

The attack contained the power of the Gura Gura no Mi, shattering everything ahead and making the flying slash even more destructive.

What?

Swordsmanship?

Bakugo's eyes widened in fury, but by the time he reacted, it was already too late.

The white arc flashed in front of Bakugo.

Boom!

The controlled white shockwave struck Bakugo.

With the added force of the Gura Gura no Mi, Bakugo was launched backward and hit the ground hard.

Before Bakugo could rise, Ochaco rushed in and wrapped the capture tape around him.

Under the Battle Trial rules, once capture tape is wrapped around a villain, that villain is considered captured.

Yuto and Bakugo's battle was over. He had won decisively.

He had not used a full-strength attack, so Bakugo's injuries were not serious.

This...

Bakugo stared at Yuto with wide eyes.

Yuto could use swordsmanship?

And it was that sharp.

He had even fused it with his Quirk.

"Damn it!" Bakugo said angrily. He could not accept defeat. Frustration twisted his face.

Yuto walked over and said calmly, "We'll fight again. I'll surpass All Might and become the strongest hero."

"What?" Bakugo immediately recovered his spirit and gritted his teeth. "I'm going to be No. 1 here. Don't think you'll beat me a second time, bastard!"

Yuto said, "We'll see." That was enough to snap Bakugo out of it. Normal comfort would not work on him. Challenging him worked better.

However, Yuto did not know that Bakugo's target was no longer only All Might. It was Yuto.

Ochaco stared at him. "I've never seen you use swordsmanship before. You're really good. You've been hiding way too much."

Yuto was in a good mood. After fighting Bakugo, he had unlocked a sword skill: Great Dragon Shock.

The monitoring room fell silent.

For a long moment, no one in the room seemed to process what they had just seen.
