Chapter 62:
My Hero Academia: Gura Gura no Mi
Three Sword Style.
One sword between his teeth. One in each hand.
For a moment, the entire stadium seemed unable to process what it was seeing.
Present Mic's voice cracked with disbelief. "Yuto has drawn a third sword! At the final moment of the championship match, he is using a completely new sword style!"
The crowd could hardly believe it.
"A sword in his mouth?"
"Is that really a sword style?"
"Is he serious, or is this some kind of trick?"
"Against Todoroki, choosing something new now is either his trump card or a death wish."
Honenuki shouted from Class 1-B's side before he could stop himself. "What's that bastard thinking? Use Two Sword Style! It was strong enough against me!"
Bakugo roared, "Yuto, you bastard! Take this seriously!"
Midoriya's pen shook in his hand. "Yuto won't lose like this... right?"
Momo's palms were damp, but her eyes did not leave the field.
In a moment like this, all she could do was believe in him.
In the reserved seats, All Might's expression was heavy.
Endeavor laughed. "All Might, do you see this? The result has already been decided. Three Sword Style? There's no sword style like that in this world." His voice stopped.
The smile on his face disappeared.
On the ruined arena, Yuto met the tidal wave of fire and ice head-on. His blades flashed brighter.
The first collision shook the stadium.
Boom. Blade met flame. Blade met ice.
Three Thousand Worlds carved forward.
Yuto cut open a path through the red and white storm. Each slash tore through the air and carried the force of a quake. Flame and ice rushed at him again and again, and each time the blades broke them apart.
For a moment, Yuto seemed to become one with the swords.
A white streak shot through the storm.
Then the final slash crossed the ring faster than most eyes could follow.
There was no long exchange. No second struggle.
Only a flash. Then silence.
Smoke rolled over the ruined field.
Present Mic climbed back up after the shock wave had thrown him from his seat. His voice was hoarse.
"The championship match... appears to be over. We can't yet confirm the result."
The audience held its breath. The smoke thinned.
A pale gleam appeared inside it.
It was the movement of a sword returning to its sheath.
Was Yuto Kanzaki the champion?
