"Talking like that is only going to make him even less willing to sell to us," said Debiru.

"What was that?! Debiru! You're getting pretty cheeky!"

"Enough!"

Ruritel's sharp voice cut through the air, stopping Tanimaki and Debiru just before their argument could escalate.

"You're all so noisy... I already told you, I'm not selling any weapons."

Shan Chui opened the front door again and stepped outside. He looked even more gloomy than before.

"If you're saying you won't sell because you're feeling down, then would you sell to us if we managed to make you laugh, Mr. Shan Chui?"

Mayutan jumped into negotiations without missing a beat.

"Sure. If you can do that."

Shan Chui accepted Mayutan's proposal. However, his expression seemed to say that he didn't believe they had the slightest chance of succeeding.

"Then please let us come inside. We're going to make you laugh."

It was Mayutan's clever strategy to get everyone into the shop first. Otherwise, they would have to keep talking to Shan Chui from outside the front door forever.

"Fine. Come in."

To everyone's surprise, Shan Chui let Tanimaki and the others inside without much hesitation.
