Mimoko took a deep breath and calmed herself down as she stared at the board. "Why choose to spring this on me now?" she asked as she captured the queen at c6 with her knight.

Lea's lip curled slightly as she brushed her hair back over her fake eye and moved her bishop to c4. "To state... the terms. Lose, and Lea will consume you, but win... and Lea shall be no more."

"And I will be free from this place and be perfectly fine upon leaving it, yes?" Mimoko scowled as she castled king's side.

"IF you beat Lea... You will not," Lea glared back as she captured the pawn at a6 with her bishop.

"I'm disappointed. I had respect for how you were playing, but now you're resorting to whatever this is? You should've just played on normally," Mimoko scoffed as she moved her rook to d6.

"We were always playing like this from the start. You never noticed. Lea just chose now... to show you her true form," Lea smiled as she moved her bishop to b5.

"Perhaps maybe you are telling the truth there. However, you chose NOW to reveal this mysterious phenomenon. Don't take me for a fool here. You're losing and decided to try and throw me off by scaring me. Lea-chan, no, Lea, that's how you piss me off," Mimoko glared as she moved her knight to d4.

Lea clicked her tongue as she moved her rook to b1. "Lea will consume you... Consume you and wield all your power!"

"Lea, if you think that spooking me will make me suddenly blunder like a rookie, you're dead wrong," Mimoko snarled as she moved her knight to b3.

"Lea has you. Or do you think a draw will work? Perhaps... That would negate... all bets," Lea mumbled as she moved her bishop to c4.

The line piqued Mimoko's curiosity, though she decided her focus and energy was better diverted to converting the win at hand.

"Not going to ask?" Lea asked as Mimoko captured the bishop at c1 with her knight.

Mimoko remained silent.

"Lea does not like that," Lea growled as she captured the bishop at c1 with her b-rook.

"Too bad because chess is meant to be a quiet sport, and we are at a tournament. I have no intention of giving you an inch," Mimoko thought as she moved her f-rook to d8.

Two beads of sweat raced down Lea's face as she moved her rook to c2. However, her defenses were quickly shattered as Mimoko found an opening by moving her bishop to g5. Deciding to forsake the knight at d2, Lea moved her pawn to a5, allowing Mimoko to capture said knight with her bishop. Lea then marched her pawn to a6, inching it closer to promotion, but Mimoko forced her to abandon the push by moving her bishop to f4.

Forced to take the rook at d6 with her rook to avoid mate, Lea let out a frustrated growl. "Lea hates you."

Mimoko responded with a silent scowl of disdain as she captured the rook at d6 with her bishop.

"LEA WILL CONSUME YOU, SMOOTHSKIN! LEA WILL FEAST ON THAT LUSCIOUS SKIN AND KNOWLEDGE!" Lea fumed as she slammed her pawn down on g3.

Mimoko was tempted to retort aloud, but kept it to herself as she knew keeping silent aggravated Lea more. "Sickening. I'll have no remorse after beating you," she thought as she moved her king to f8.

Now all that remained was converting the massive advantage to a win, but Lea wouldn't make things simple. King g2, rook a8, h3, knight e7, rook e2, knight d5, rook e1, knight c7, rook a1, and still, Lea hung on. But now was when Mimoko could demonstrate why the king truly was the most important piece by marching it out to e7.

Lea thought nothing at first, and moved her bishop to d3, but when Mimoko moved the king again, this time to d7, she began to get worried. "No, you cannot wield the king against Lea!" she frantically thought as she flung her pawn to f4.

"She's gone quiet, and gotten more panicked. Seems she is aware of how powerful the king can be the more barren the board," Mimoko thought as she moved her king to c6.

Lea gritted her teeth in frustration as she decided to move her own king to f3, however, it was far from game-changing as Mimoko got her king to b6, right where she wanted it.

"No, Lea was invested in that pawn," Lea thought as she moved her rook to d1.

But Mimoko wasn't interested quite yet in taking the a-pawn, opting to instead move her bishop to c5. Lea, on the other hand, seized the opportunity to capture the pawn at h7 with her bishop.

"Lea has more pawns. Lea will march them all," Lea thought as Mimoko moved her pawn to g6.

"And how do you plan to escape this, Lea? By sacrificing the bishop?" Mimoko thought as Lea moved her pawn to a7. "Perhaps making yourself look more pawn-like has made you obsessed with your pawns," she thought as she shook her head and moved her king to c6.

Seeing one of the attackers leave, Lea instantly moved her rook to a1 as a maniacal grin lit up her face. Much like her lightbulb eye, it was all theatrics though as Mimoko moved her rook to h8. Lea tried to keep up the confident act by moving her pawn to h4, but after Mimoko moved her king to b7, the scowl was back as she begrudgingly captured the pawn at g6 with her bishop, allowing Mimoko to capture said bishop with her f-pawn.

"Lea still has more pawns," Lea thought as she moved her rook to d1.

Not for long though, as Mimoko captured the pawn at a7 with her bishop.

"NO! LEA WANTED TO PROMOTE THAT PAWN!" Lea fumed aloud as she slammed her king down on g4.

"You should never be too obsessed with a certain piece," Mimoko thought as she moved her bishop to c5.

Seeking vengeance, Lea furiously moved her king down to g5, with Mimoko deciding to let her have the cake, and moving her king to c6.

"NEVER TAKE LEA'S PAWNS!" Lea roared as she violently captured the pawn at g6 with her king, sending the piece flying off towards the invisible wall, with it deflecting off it and falling to the floor with a small bounce.

"Your shouting only makes me feel more disdain from you, no matter how grotesque and frightening you try to appear. Check," Mimoko scoffed as she moved her rook to g8.

Lea's jaw dropped in disbelief, before she regained her fury and moved her king to f7. "YOU DARE INSULT LEA!?"

Mimoko responded with a glare and a nod as she captured the pawn at g3 with her rook.

"Ngh, Lea still has more pawns," Lea trembled as she gritted her teeth and moved her king to f6.

"Perhaps what Okaa-chan said about the executive board members is true; they all start to malfunction when they over rely on their chips," Mimoko sighed in her mind as she moved her rook to f3.

"Lea still has pawns... Lea will promote," Lea thought as she began to sweat while moving her pawn to h5.

"Check. One less pawn for you," Mimoko huffed as she captured the pawn at f4 with her rook.

Lea attempted to smother her face with rage, but all that showed upon her face while she moved her king to g5 was a nervous grimace.

"My, seems you're starting to realize just how badly you've messed up," Mimoko menacingly smiled as she moved her rook to f5.

The fury Lea had been trying to summon managed to come through as she exploded in rage while slamming her king down on g6. "YOU MOCK LEA!? LEA IS WINNING! LEA IS GOING TO EAT YOUR FLESH!"

"Lea, perhaps you should shut up," Mimoko scowled as she moved her knight to d5.

Lea blinked in confusion. "Shut... up?" she mumbled as she slowly nudged her pawn to h6.

"Yes, your outbursts are only making you look more pathetic," Mimoko huffed as she moved her bishop to e3.

"LEA IS NOT PATHETIC!" Lea shouted as she slammed her king down on g7.

"Then why are you throwing a tantrum? Why resort to this whole set-up?" Mimoko scoffed as she moved her rook to f6.

"Lea... This is the only way Lea can consume," Lea trembled as she captured the knight at d5 with her rook.

"Then perhaps don't "consume"," Mimoko huffed as she captured the rook at d5 with her king.

"LEA NEEDS TO EAT OR SHE'LL STARVE!" Lea cried as she captured the rook at f6 with her king.

"Then eat... food?"

"No... Lea means chess food. Lea can't become chess master without consuming talent."

Mimoko shook her head in disappointment. "So by "consume", you mean beat someone and steal their chess prowess for yourself. And now you've bitten off more than you could chew. Check," she huffed as she moved her bishop to d4.

"Lea... Lea hasn't lost yet," Lea chuckled as she let loose an unsettling grin as she moved her king to g5.

This didn't shake Mimoko in the slightest as she instantly captured the pawn at b2 with her bishop.

"Lea... has a pawn," Lea mumbled as she moved her king to g6.

Mimoko rolled her eyes and moved her bishop to d4.

"You think this is winning? ALL AN ILLUSION! YOU'RE ACTUALLY LOSING!" Lea maniacally shouted as she slammed her king down on f7.

"Oh really? In that case, you'd be cheating, and would end up being punished by Redfield-san," Mimoko glared as she moved her pawn to b3.

Sweat began to pour down Lea's face. "This is not a bluff. It is real," she smiled as she moved her king to g6.

"I don't fall for bluffs when I see mate," Mimoko snarled as she moved her pawn to b2.

Lea let out a frustrated shriek and rapidly began rubbing her pale green smooth bald head before slamming her king down on g5. "WHY CAN'T LEA RATTLE YOU!?"

"Because you disappointed me too much," Mimoko scoffed as she moved her pawn to b1 and promoted it to a queen.

"NO! THAT'S WHAT LEA WANTED TO DO!" Lea cried as she moved her king to g4.

"Well that's too bad," Mimoko snarled as she moved her king to e4.

If Lea's skin already wasn't as pale as it could get, it would get paler as now it was her turn to show complete and utter fear. "Lea's losing... LEA'S LOSING! LEA CAN;T LOSE!" she trembled as she struggled to keep her hand steady while moving her pawn to h7.

"Not getting that pawn promoted on my watch. Check," Mimoko huffed as she moved her queen to g1.

"NOOOOOOOOO!" Lea cried as she moved her king to h4.

"Although, I guess you could technically promote, but would that do any good?" Mimoko angrily smiled as she moved her king to f4.

Tears began to ooze out of Lea's eye as she stared down at the board. "Lea... Lea doesn't want to lose the pawn," she trembled as she nudged her king to h5.

"Then the pawn shall stay on the board. Checkmate," Mimoko huffed as she moved her queen to g5, winning the game.

In an instant, the blue void vanished, with the scenery returning to normal. With this win, Japan had now swept the Hebrew Federation 4-0, but it was too early to start celebrating as Lea suddenly began to scream.

Shocked at her true form, everyone stared in horror as Lea's hair, eyebrows, and eyelashes fell out in an instant, leaving her completely bald and exposing her light bulb eye to all. Shortly after, her skin suddenly began to turn brown and wither, almost as if she was turning into a dried up weed. She then fell to the ground and disintegrated into dust, leaving nothing but her clothes, sneakers, and the LED light that had served as her right eye behind.

"Mimoko... What just happened?" Daria trembled.

Mimoko wearily got up from her seat and shook her head. "I don't know..."

The Hebrew team, meanwhile, all looked to be in even more shock.

"Oi... the hell was going on with Lea!?" Chaya trembled as he hand began to shake madly.

"Sh- She just withered up and disintegrated into nothing!" Golda gasped.

"They just appeared out of nowhere," Shira shuddered as she struggled to prevent herself from having a panic attack.

Irit stared motionless with her jaw dropped and her eyes widened, but as soon as she caught a glimpse of someone walking away, rage consumed her. "ORIT!"

Yet before she could make a move, a loud roar accompanied by an aura of malice and underworldy energy swept through the area, sending a chill down everyone's spine.

"Wh- What was that!?" Mimoko trembled.
